As the air blasted her upward, Olesya flailed, her arms and legs waving not so gracefully as she fell back to the ground with David as her cushion. Her hands met the ground first so they didnt bump heads. He lifted them off the ground, her palms against his chest and his arms around her hips as they floated before slowly coming back down to the ground.
To say that Olesya was stunned was a bit of an understatement. Not to mention that her heart was racing in her throat. She'd never been suspended in the air before like that, nor had she ever seen David exhibit those sorts of powers.
"Well that's new, at least to my knowledge."

David smiled.
"My Qi has mutated... Don't ask me why. I like it the way it is."
He wouldn't let go, keeping them in their current position before looking up into the sky, coming back down with a grin of adventure.
"Want to see what else I can do?"

When he grinned at her like that, there was no way she could say no.
"Duh."
She smirked, her eyes flashing with the same brilliance it had when they were younger. It was nice to feel carefree, and adventurous. She was caught in the moment and enjoying herself, enjoying being with him. There was something about David that being around him made everything feel less....hopeless. Like no matter what happened, everything was going to be okay. Maybe it was because he had a youthful spirit, a sense of adventure and a contagious smile. Whatever it was, Olesya didn't mind it one bit.

Davids smile widened slightly.
"Don't let go of me."
And wam. They would shoot up into the air, a hundred feet. Three hundred feet. Five. Eight. A thousand. Within the next moment or two, they would be hovering an inch or two above the clouds, the wisps of vapor churning below them. As they had rocketed skyward, it wasn't anything like a speeding bullet- but it was fast, for an individual to fly. Probably twenty miles an hour.
If she would look up at him, sweat would be beading his forehead. He had never been this high alone, let alone with another. It's why he wanted her close. It was easier if she was close. Not to mention...well, it was just better in every way.
He cocked an eyebrow, and closed his eyes.
The clouds beneath them sunk down, and suddeny shot up, the two of them in a pocket of air among clouds that were twirling rapidly. Sweat now dampened his shirt. If he didn't have this fucking illness...
He'd look down at her, keeping the clouds spinning, some of them turning darker and causing short bursts of static electricity.
"What do you think?"

Les shrieked, clinging to David as they shot up into the air. The ground rose away so quickly, all the wreckage and ruin and devastation falling away and clouds surrounding them. She hugged David for dear life, afraid of falling but simultaneously fascinated with everything around her.
When he closed his eyes, she watched the clouds form a swirling pocket around them, they were literally in the eye of a small storm. It was like nothing else existed outside of the swirling clouds.
She felt a little out of breath both from the excitement and since the air was thinner up here. Her mismatched gaze meeting his, her eyes slightly misty at the majesty of it all.
"David...it's...it's beautiful."
She breathed, overwhelmed by everything.

David would place his left hand on the side of her neck and, this time without August or youichi or anyone to interrupt, he was confident leaning in, closing his eyes as his lips would get so close, he could feel her breath. His eyes snapped open, David suddenly looking down at the ground.
'DAMMIT! WHY NOW!?'
They would shoot for the ground, not head first but feet pointing toward the earth. In a few moments they would be touching their feet down in a back alley, just around front their packs. Peering around the corner, two members of an unknown gang were rummaging through their stuff. David had put a thin layer of protection around them, so if any hand passed through the air there, he would know.
David turned to look at Olesya, smiling.
"Shall we?"
