So when he followed Leon it turned out the destination was in Barker territory. He wasn't quite ready to be assaulting a base in Barker territory. Not yet at least. Once more he made his way in to God territory. Now a Jarl thanks to his dealing with the Norse Gods, his next target was the Egyptians.
He would approach one of them that wasn't busy seeming and he would tap them on the shoulder. Making sure it was the hand that wore Tyr's ring.
"Excuse me, If I may request to be taken to Ra. I have need to speak to him."
Maybe it would be that easy?

The young man working at his spot would look to Mathew, who had been easily getting around thanks to his rank and ring. The guy recognized both as word had spread of his accomplishments from Tyr, Siegfried, and the other Nordes.
"Um, we can try. Though my rank isn't so... Respected."
He'd lead Jarl Amtrum to the only pyramid built in the city, being let inside they would reach the only large black door and archeway.
"Jarl Amtrum would like to speak with Ra."
One of the guards would nod and head inside. Only a few minutes passing before he came back out.
"Ra is talking with some of the other Gods. If you dont mind waiting a few minutes."

He pressed his lips together in slight annoyance. He didn't like to be kept waiting, but he would nod his head slightly.
"I will wait then."
Right there.

It would only take thirty to fourty five minutes, but he'd be waved into the chamber. It was round until one end where a large throne was. A tan skinned man in his thirties sat, light blue eyes and a helmet in the shape of his bird headed counterpart. Set, and Anubis where there as well, but thats it.
"Welcome Jarl Amtrum, word of your honorable battle with the hero Siegfried has spread to even our section of things. How can we help?"
Anubis actually was the one to speak.

Mathew stood their the whole time. Seriously. Just like... staring at the guard. Dead eyes. When he was let in to the chamber he gave a deep bow. Deeper than he probably should have, but he was trying to make a good impression.
"Honorable Ra, Set, and Anubis. Thank you for allowing me to speak with you. I come seeking your favor and aid. And humbly ask how I may win your favor."

Ra would speak next.
"To tell the truth Jarl... We dont really have a physical challange for you to compete in."
He wasn't mean abut the statement he just assumed Mathew was only good in combat, and was just trying to find a nice way to say it considering the relations with the overall group of The Gods and Mr. Amtrum himself.

"Then give me a non physical challenge Lord Ra."

"Well then a quick challange of whit."
Set would say, Ra would nod to allow such.
"Oft I must strive with wind and wave, Battle them both when under the sea
I feel out the bottom, a foreign land. In lying still I am strong in the strife; If I fail in that they are stronger than I, And wrenching me loose, soon put me to rout.
They wish to capture what I must keep. I can master them both if my grip holds out,
If the rocks bring succor and lend support, Strength in the struggle. Ask me my name!"

He thought for a moment.
"You would be an anchor."

Anubis would cough once before telling his assisstant something. The assisstant would return a minute or two later with a cloth, a table, and abag. He'd set up the table in front of Mathew, and place the cloth over it before revieling three statues. A man carrying a heavy crate, a man standing straight with his hands on his hips, and a man wearing a lot of jewelry.
"These are the three stages of life. Put them in order with an explanation of why."

He looked at each statue for only a moment before he went to work. Going on his gut instinct. He placed the man wearing lots of jewelry first, followed by the man standing straight, and finally the man with the crate.
"There is no one true answer. But my reason for placing them in this order is as follows. When you are a child everything is provided for you, and you are showered with treats and toys. You have no worries. As you grow older in to a young adult you feel unstoppable, convinced of your own immortality. The world is yours to take. Finally as you age you become bogged down with burdens, no longer are you sure of yourself or care free. Everything seems to be a challenge and you long for the past when you had no worries."

"You are correct. There is no right answer, but you have my respect of understanding."
Ra would smile now as he stood.
"And how about a passtime challange for my challange?"

"If that is what you desire."

Ra would lead Mathew and the others outside to a sand race track.
"You ever been in a chariot race?"

"I can honestly say I have not. Well..."
He paused.
"Does racing in wheel chairs around the Gates of Thermopylae count?"
Because he totally did that with Leon once.
