Ra was taken back a second... thought on the subject.
"Um... I... You... Thermopylae?"
Yeah, that was a rather random event to speak of even to Ra.
"I suspect the similarity stops at two wheels."

"Oh well, then I suppose no. I have never been in a chariot race."

Ra would have two identicle chariots brought drawn by two horses.
"Its rather simple," And Ra would go on to explain how to stand and hold the reigns, the flicking motion to make them go, and how to make them turn.
He'd even give Mathew a few practice laps for fairness sake. The horse's Mathew had where rather epic by the way.

Mathew would take the laps that were offered to get a feel for the horses, he thought he had it down. Though he was sure Ra would be better at it.

There would be an epic race. Three laps total, the beginning didn't look too good for Mathew, but about the middle of the second lap it seemed he got the hang of it and caught up the rest of the way easily, the final lap looked more like a real challange, everyone on the side lines was quiet and at the edge of their seats, but as they reached the finish line.
Mathew's chariot crossed first and the crowed went fuckin nuts.

Mathew raised his arms in the air in triumph! He couldn't believe that he actually won. He did not expect that since he had just done this for the first time ever. His greatest challenge to date would be not bragging about it to Ra right now.

Ra would guide his chariot to the fence where someone else would take it off his hands and open the gate for him, as well as Mathew. Ra had joined in on the current applause at this point a smile on his face. Once Mathew made it over he would move to congradulate.
"That was well done, Jarl."

He was a little surprised to see that Ra was taking the loss as well as he did. That was good, it spoke of him as a person, and maybe they could make a lasting partnership. He needed allies, and for more than just combat.
He followed Ra, bowing his head slightly at the praise.
"I can only thank you for allowing me to use such fine animals to give me such a sporting chance." He said.
Meanwhile in his head he was doing a pelvic thrusting victory dance cause he was awesome.
"I hope I have proven myself to be more than brawn, and I hope I have earned your favor. I feel I will need it as I seek an audience with Zeus and his council next."

And now it came out. Ra figured it was something to that effect, but he did indeed win favor.
"Yes, you passed our tests and have our favor. I'll send a messanger to Hermes so he can tell the council of your current favor with us and the Nordes."

He smiled.
"And you have one mine with your graciousness."
He bent down and scooped up some stone from the ground, sweeping his foot over it to force the stone to close the gap. He molded the stone like it was clay in his hands until it was a coiled dragon. He extended the gift to Ra.
"I intend to open trade routes between the Dragons and the Gods. Bear this and should be allowed to walk our lands and be taken to me personally."
He was just assuming he would be put in to the fold of the Dragons and of rank. He was Mathew Amtrum, how could he not be?

Ra would watch the gift of the Earth Dragon for a moment, before smiling.
"Thank you."
Ra would rach out and be handed his rounded sceptor. He would hand it to Mathew as well.
"This should do the same."
Ra was told the Dragons didn't usually work together, so his assumption on their territory was to have a base of operation and possibly a meeting place. For what the symbolism is for Mathew holding the sceptor makes him a pharoh.

"This is most kind of you Lord Ra."
He bowed his head once more.
"I look forward to a long lasting and mutual beneficial arrangement between us. But, if Hermes moves as fast as his name sake I fear I should be moving, lest I keep Zeus waiting."
And with that he would be off, ring hand clutching the scepter.

Ra would nod and Mathew would be off. Hitting an area of the society where buildings have obviousely been rebuilt in the image of ancient greece. And what seems to be a man maid mountain with beautifully carved steps leading to a circle like plateu at the top where the Greek Gods would obviousely be.

Mathew would climb the steps of Mount Olympus. He was almost done with winning all of their favor, and with the tokens from the other Gods he felt like he can't lose. He refused to lose.

Mathew would reach a multicultural throne room it would seem. Zeus's throne was next to an empty one, but solid stone. Poseidon and his sea blue hair sat on a similer throne surrounded by water. Hades and Pandora sat near by on black thrones. Artemis sat near her father, and Athena sat accross from another empty throne. An empty golden throne with a symbol for the sun and a workbench near by that always burned. Dionysus had no seat, but he could be seen lounging near the pool with Aphrodite and her nymphs.
In the center would be Hermes in his blue armor and sceptor of his own waving for Mathew to step forward.
If he did or once he did before he'd get the chance to speak Zeus would cut in.
"So you've been playing ambassador for the other gods winning favor through challange and you wish to do the same here."
His grip so tight on the stone arm of his throne, some sparks exiting his golden gloved hands.
