Let's get down to business (Kiyr and Rai)

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would grab his shoulder and see if it was seriously injured or just in pain, happy to find out that it was only in pain he would speak.

"Eh, just a little."

He would say massaging his shoulder.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie finished pulling herself up and over the edge, pushed herself to her feet, and gained distance from the edge.

She wrung her clothing out while she waited for Rai to get up over the edge as well.

"Quite a bit." She answered truthfully. The water was cold enough that, coupled with the wind, she was chilled.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Well then, the next part should be interesting. Because you just climbed out of the water in to a fight."

Mathew's foot hit the ground and two pillars would shoot out to try and slam in to both his apprentices.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai jumped aside but still got hit, luckly it was in his good arm.

"Fuck."

He would get back up and get into a fighting stance.

[Kyrie Blaze]

There was a slight gasp and Kiyr flung herself up into the air, entire body twisting and rotating in attempt to avoid the attack.

She just wasn't fast enough.

It clipped her side and she spilled to the ground in what was almost a heap, save for the last moment crouch.

She sprang back to her feet despite the pain in her side, hands up and ready.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew reached in to his coat pockets with both hands and pulled out two fruits. Small and white. Leon's gamble fruit.

"If you guys can manage to get a fruit out of my hand then you may eat it. This fruit has increased my power and mutated my Qi. Though warning, it has had negative side effects on some people."

He grinned.

"Can you take it from me?"

[Kyrie Blaze]

Interesting...

She changed her footing, glancing at Rai with an eyebrow raised, just a little.

Her eyes swapped back to Mathew, and she exhaled slowly, inhaling to center herself.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai looked at the fruit and was confused but, it was a challenge that he knew he would have to complete. He looked at Kiyr to see the state she was in. They were both pretty beat up this challenge was going to be hard without them being so tired.

"Kiyr. Together?"

[Kyrie Blaze]

"Absolument."

Absolutely.

She was ready.

[Mathew Amtrum]

And while they had that little heart warming moment of team work two more pillars would shoot out of the ground with the intent to slam both of them off the cliff.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Being ready, not only to attack Mathew, but to move in general, Kiyr managed to evade this attack by rolling out of the way...springing back onto her feet, and darting in to Mathew.

She jumped, planting her feet against the Earth Dragon's side, hands hopefully gripping his arm or wrist in her attempt to snatch the fruit and dive back off, towards the middle of the area away from the edge of the cliff.

Rai ran towards the pillar planting both hands on the top of it to vault off of it into the air heading toward Mathew as he came back down he would spin kick towards the opposite arm of Kiyr hoping to knock the fruit out of it.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew stumbled back under the attacks of his apprentices as they took the fruits from him. Stomping his foot to send two more pillars at their right knee caps. Because fuck you.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai has the fruit! And a hurt knee. Bitch. Rai stands back up and eats the fruit, it tastes delicious.

[Kyrie Blaze]

The pillar strike's Kiyr's knee, and it's lucky she wasn't putting much weight on it. As it was she fell forwards, instinctively tucking herself into a roll.

She sprawled out on the ground, on her back. She was, quite literally, exhausted, but pushed herself into a sitting position.

She inspected the fruit, but eyed Mathew overtop of that. A cautious sniff--it smelled like oranges and strawberries~ Amazing. She just inhaled the scent for a few moments before taking a bite of the fruit. Juicy, amazing, sweet, divine.

It had been so long since she'd gotten fruit. Kiyr closed her eyes and savoured it.

Amazing.
