Induction (Kiyr, David, Rai)

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew left orders for Kiyr and Rai to meet him in the middle of Dragon territory. And to come in nothing but jeans and their underwear. No combat gear at all. When they got there Mathew would be waiting for them wearing nothing but his jeans. The rest of his clothing lay in a neat pile off to the side. He didn't even have any stone wrapped around his body.

They would find a crowd starting to gather around the area. All Dragons, all waiting for something. There seemed to be a sense of anticipation hanging in the air. Something big was going to go down.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would show up in the exact attire that Mathew had told him to be in as he walked over towards the center of the crowd. He wasn't really sure what to think at the moment but he would walk over to his master and stand by his side until otherwise notified.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kiyr had showed up as well, shirtless but in a sports bra, because screw walking around completely naked. She wasn't some loose woman. She moved easily despite being barefoot, feeling rather comfortable in the pair of sweats she had on, otherwise.

She stopped by Mathew's side, silent but with a mildly questioning air.

[David B.]

David walked out of the crowd, brushing through the Dragon army like a ghost. He, too was wearing only blue jeans, and was completely barefoot. He walked up to stand ten feet in front of Rai, Mathew, and Kiyrie. He turned and would face the crowd, turning round to examine everyone, his gaze lingering on on the two electives, his form relaxed and still.

"Step forward."

He would wait until Kiyrie and Rai did so, and then hed continue.

"You both have been put forward as Dragon candidates. We are elite fighters. The highest caliber. We do not take these elections lightly, and if you cant prove you are worth the space your bodies will consume, we will strip you of your ambition and send you to the wild. The test is not easy, and should not be taken lightly. Do you both wish to continue?"

If they agreed, he would press on.

"Let me make clear that, should you perservere, you will not be a named one. You will be a member of the Dragon Core, an honor that should be respected. The individual testing your metal will now come forward, and you will prove your worth to him, to us, and to yourself."

David would walk to the edge of the circle and turn to look at the center, waiting for it to begin.

And that's when Mathew would step forward. Rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck. He thought it fitting that he would be the one testing them for this honor. He was the one putting them in to the ring. He sure as fuck wasn't going to go easy on them. Coddling them and keeping them weak would only make him look bad.

"Make me bleed."

It was an order. He snapped it at them as he slid in to a defensive position. Waiting to see who would be the first one to try and make him bleed. They should be honored. They would both fight him at once, an advantage. But would they work together or try to one up him to be the one to make him bleed?

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie stepped forwards as Blaze ordered, for now not looking at Raikotsu. She was intent on the words Blaze was saying, and their underlying meaning. She agreed both verbally and with a brisk nod of her head.

Their apprenticeship with Mathew was a different thing than this...but still, if they failed, they would be sent away. She was surprised when Mathew stepped forwards, but found it fitting. He wasn't going to go easy, and she'd already had her derriere kicked enough times to know that she and Rai would fail horribly, miserably, if they didn't work together.

It was now that she looked to Raikotsu as she stepped forwards, her hands up.

"Together."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai stepped forward as Blaze had told him to do, he wasn't going to back out just because someone said something scary. He would nod at Blaze to confirm he was ready.

Mathew stepped up and posed himself to be their challenge. This was going to be difficult to be sure, there was no way he would complete this challenge himself and if he did, it would take all that he had.

Kiyr looked at him raising her hands "Together." was all she said, but it was all he needed.

"Together."

He replied looking back at Mathew getting into a fighting stance.

"So then, master. Lets dance like there's no tomorrow!"

He nodded to Kiyr and charged at Mathew. As he would come up to Mathew he raised his left fist making for a punch towards Mathews face but just before he was in arms reach he would duck down and do a side kick towards Mathews right knee with his left foot.

Mathew would spin to his right, side stepping Rai completely as he charged for Kiyr, moving quickly and raising his knee up to try and slam right in to her stomach. Rai was on the gun, so take out the back up.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kiyr saw this, and with a twist of her body, she slid under Mathew's attack, arching her back and then throwing herself into an angled roll.

Scraped joints didn't matter. She kipped up and pushed off, aiming to drive her full weight against the back of Mathew's knees, to - hopefully - bring him down.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Mathew moved fast, and as soon as Rai noticed his target had moved he used the momentum of his kick to turn around and charge at Mathew seeing Kiyr go for Mathews knees he jumped up to kick at Mathews right side.

And Mathew went down under both blows, moving with the force of the blows and turning it in to a roll. Hoisting himself on to his hands in a hand stand. He shifted his body rapidly to spin kicking at both Rai and Kiyr this way before he leaned back and gracefully made it to his feet.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie hung on for the ride, releasing at the apex of Mathew's handstand to clear the area of the kick, even though she had to roll, skid, and turn around before sending herself flying back.

She was counting on Mathew to hear her - he was her master, after all - and even though she wanted to go for the direct tackle, but feinted in a roll slightly to the side, hoping to be a distraction for Rai and clear the immediate area. She was faster, he was stronger.

She spun back to her feet, so long as Mathew hadn't seen through it, to watch what Rai was doing and if he took the opportunity. If he did start, then she would join back in.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

The kick caught him in the shoulder knocking him back he did a flip to land on his feet massaging his shoulder real quick as he saw Kiyr get into position, he knew she was ready to go as soon as he started the attack. Which is exactly what he did he went out charging towards Mathew, he would spin around to the opposite side of Mathew from Kiyr and kick at Mathew's thigh.

And Mathew would charge back at Rai, stretching his arm out to clothesline him even as Rai tried to spin to get in to thigh kicking position.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kiyr darted back into the fray, mentally checking that Rai still seemed to like the fancy moves that took too long against opponents of this caliber. And right now, Mathew and the others were far above them.

She came in from behind, literally - once she caught up should Mathew stop, to use his lower back like she would a wall to shoot herself higher instead of trying to make him stumble forwards, as he would be braced to clothesline Rai, but not too high, bringing both feet up to drop-kick the back of Mathew's head and rebound away if possible.
