Rai made a mock pitching stance then thrusted his palm out ward shooting another ball.

"Not baseball." Jackson said with a straight face.
He channeled his Qi through the bat, and outwards, attempting to divert the course of the ball as he swung the bat downwards, in one swift chop.

The ball would hit the ground causing a small crater. Rai would smile, and throw his whip to collect the two blood balls.
"Good! Again!"
Rai shot two more blood balls at him.

Jackson deflected the first, and, dropping the bat, and made a hollow air ball, open in the front. He threw it, at Rai's bloodball, to envelope, and stop it.

The first one was deflected away like the previous one and the second was caught and fell harmlessly to the ground as the smoke ball dissipated.
"Good job!"
Rai was pleased.
"You have done well in this. I like how you used your bat as a source to channel your chi keeping thinking of stuff like that and you will become better at it in no time."

Jackson saluted to Rai, fist in open palm, "Thank you. I want to be able to use this as more than just a bat, people don't expect that."

Rai returned the salute smiling.
"Interesting concept I like it. It will be good to throw off the opponent. Surprise is the best advantage you can have in any fight."

"Agreed." Jackson broke his stoicness, and actually grinned.
He leaned down, and removed the training weights, "Here. Also, is there anything I can improve on?"

Rai took the training weights and put them back on.
"Well, practice makes perfect as far as your Qi goes the more you use the it better you are able to understand it thus making it easier to use. One thing that could possibly help is using a fighting style that will help you channel your Qi, something like Tai chi, do you happen to know any of it?"

Rai contemplated for a moment, he wasn't as skilled in it as others but he think he could teach Jackson enough to get by.
"Yeah, granted I don't know a whole lot but I know enough to get you on your way to learning more. Are you ready to begin learning now, or do you want to wait? It could take awhile for you to learn what I know."

Rai nodded.
"Then do like I do."
Over next few hour Rai taught him a few forms of Tai chi. Showing him how to incorporate it with his chi, and after awhile Rai was finished teaching him.
"Good job, you are learning well. But I think that it is enough for tonight, I have a few more things that I might be able to show you but with practice of what you know now you will be pretty strong, just take some spare time everyday to run through those forms so as to not get rusty, also randomize the forms for variety keep the enemy guessing at what you are going to do next. You have done well tonight. If you ever need help again feel free to get a hold of me and I will be more than happy to help you, this also goes for anytime you want to spar to keep your training fresh. Any questions before I had on back to Mathews?"

Rai bowed slightly to Jackson's salute and would walk home, a good day's training to be sure.
