"For now."

Leon would lead Rai back to the main hall entrance and then send some subordinates to fetch a small bag of the fruit. Throwing it to Rai he'd find two Gamble Fruit and a smaller orange glowing fruit.

Rai would stare into the bag curious. He pulled out the Orange one and looked at it. He sniffed at it.

"Hey whats this one a new type of Gamble fruit? If I eat it will it do something else to me than the other gamble fruit?"

Rai took a small bite out of it.

"Wh-, no don't!"

Leon would reach for Rai though only his known location since thats all he could sense.

Spooked by Leons sudden movement Rai put the rest of the fruit in his mouth and jumped back and away from him. It tasted delicious. After coughing down the last of the fruit he looked at Leon.

"What the hell was that about!?"

Leon turned black lightning engulfing his entire left arm as he drove the point of his knife hand into and through the chest of the soldier who brought him the bag killing him almost instantly. Blood flying everywhere. Leon dropping the lifeless body to the floor.

"It takes two years to grow those properly! They are not for the weak of mind and body like you!"

Yes, he was not happy.

Rai saw his Uncle kill the man and was shocked. Then Leon spoke to him. They are not for the weak of mind and body like you! Rai got a little angry at that statement and forgot about the dead man.

"I am not weak! I'm doing every goddamn thing I can to prove that to every fucking person I meet and I am still not given the time of day! I'm sorry if I'm not good enough to prove to you that I am worth something but one of these days even you will have to recognize me Uncle!"

With that Rai took the two gamble and walked out of the tower.

"Let me know when you have any 'use' for me again."

Leon would zip about to stop Rai stopping in front of him in the courtyard.

"You can prove yourself by earning things YOURSELF and stop taking all these handouts, and stop asking for them. Make an accomplishment that you can claim is yours and yours alone, then you'll be recognized as actually something. Until then you ARE weak."

Rai glared at him and just walked out. He knew he was taking handouts but he was more than willing to offer his services to earn them. If no one took advantage of his willingness then it wasn't his fault.

[Aryn Valcoph]

Aryn was - albeit temporarily - lounging in Leon's throne room. On his chair-throne, of course. Her legs swung lightly, more or less bouncing a little with her feet rotating and twitching slightly. Her team was picked out after they'd arrived from their little training-prep spar that Levi had set up.

The brunette wasn't second-guessing herself, but idly pondering as she waited for the rest of the Dragons she'd picked out to gather. She hadn't taken Rai, though he'd proven to be at least somewhat resilient and he had decent utility with his blood Qi. But both teams were well-stacked in her opinion, even with Aryn and Kazuya's Qi being very similar aside from a difference here and there. And Jackson's Qi would compliment theirs.

Leon would return from the bathroom to find Aryn chillin in his throne.

"Well this is a lovely surprise."

[Aryn Valcoph]

"Pretty comfy throne you have here, Leon~" Came the partial drawl as Aryn turned her head to be able to see him. If he minded that she was on what was technically his with seemingly 'no respect' for it or him, well...Aryn didn't quite give a fuck, which made her either overly arrogant or one helluva ballsy minx.

She liked to think the latter. A smirk slowly scrawled over her lips.

"I like to think so."

Leon would walk over though his sunglasses where not on. The iris of his eyes both completely white except for the small black pupils. He was blind now his Qi had taken his sight.

"Hows recruiting teams going?"

[Aryn Valcoph]

The "wrongness" was more apparent as Leon drew closer, as she could see more of his eyes...and realize that the startling blue that had been receding was now gone. Aryn had known this would happen, but she hasn't quite expected it so soon. She frowned, and with a somewhat disgruntled murmur, flicked her legs off the side of the chair and rose to her feet. She didn't go to him, though.

It was probably a matter of pride for them both.

"Good, I'd think. I have my team picked and Levi, I believe, has his own. And of course we're heading out, soon..."

Leon frowned at the cut off point of soon.

"Is there something delaying you or just making sure your prepared?"

[Aryn Valcoph]

Nothing was delaying her aside from the others making sure they were ready. She shrugged, even knowing he couldn't see it.

"Nah, nothing's delaying me. Just ensuring I have what I need while I wait." a pause, then: "So, when did you manage to lose the rest of it?"
