Lightning Tower

[Mr. Kaar]

"Endgame?"

Leon contemplated for a minute acting as though he hadn't thought about it at all and simply went out on the breeze.

"When everything settles back down and this world is free of barker, what is to become of all these territories we control? The common people have been lost, no word from any governing body if they even exist still... The banister of ours, a flag, a symbol if they know it or not inspires, they need balance in this time of imbalance. In the end this is how I will run things. An Empire with a king, a ruler, a balance."

Levi smiled and nodded in approval, glad he was following someone with power who didn't seem ready to fall to tyranny.

"That sounds nice, if and when it happens, I'll be backing you the whole way....so....I assume that wasn't your only reason for asking to see me?"

Levi was enjoying the conversation, but his curiousity about the real reason he was asked up there was growing.

Leon would chuckle slightly. Tyranny was one of the last things he'd fall to. Been there already, no reason to go back.

"Well, have you met all the men? Brave, Drake, all the squads?"

Leon was curious, see if his hunch was accurate. Levi might not have met them outright, but durring the knighting ceremony everyone was present at least.

Levi shook his head, remembering the faces he had seen at his knighting ceremony. He hadn't actually met them, but he knew of them, this fact disappointed him slightly.

"I'm sure they were at my ceremony.....but I can't say I've spoken to them or know the face that belongs to each of those faces."

[Mr. Kaar]

"So lets test something, from here, can you sense where they all are?"

Leon would let Levi do his thing, and once he got the answer would wave for Levi to follow, they would begin heading downstairs.

Levi nodded as he quickly found each of them, his senses were more of a sixth sense, always aware themselves and he only needed to think on them to notice what they had found, his gift from the gamble fruit was indeed generous.

"I can find anyone I've felt before, of course the more familiar I am with them, the more identity I can give each signature. So yes, I believe I know which ones are them."

Levi followed Leon quietly, assuming he was about to meet the individuals he was asked about.

Leon would explain as they walked who he'd be meeting.

First would be Leon's personal crew, starting with Yun, a bright young fighter who specialized in finding weaknesses and exploiting them, though he had a bit of a seriouseness problem. Kwon and Cho where basically his two personal soldiers, though Kwon was the medic he perferred to act like a bit of an ass, and Cho was mostly a nervous wreck, they seemed to work well together. Next Soren, bit of a wild card, but he was fast and got things done. Then Shen, or "Knight Shen" as he had become most known for. If Levi could tell the man held himself with just enough pride to give away that he himself was an attuned fighter. Bastion was next, he was quiet, but he had the kind of look in his eye that made you wonder if he smiled when you weren't looking. Finally for Leon's squad would be Chris, the man kept a kind hearted smile on his face, though Leon gave him the position of personal body guard showing a great faith in him.

Next would be Squad One.

Brave, Dirk, Shurfi, Sai, Fin, Cfunt, and "Queen". They where Leon's general commando group. They where the front line ballista that would be the driving force of Leon's campaigns. Leon would explain each of their positions to Levi so he had an understanding, and in turn they would explain themselves.

Squad Two

Drake, Vela, Skal, Watari, Vince, Shoon, Roy, and Vmysa. They where the defence team. Should anyone be foolish enough to attack Leon's territories, they would be mobilized to eradicate the threat. Each was a demon with their chosen weapon of expertise. Each would explain their position within the group.

Squad Three

Sil, "Koi", Sari, Mei, Finch, Jawan, Wyatt, and Dale. Squad Three was the Shock and Awe group. Not built for week long battle they where the usual first into the battle to aim for the ones in charge of the enemy and rend their power so that Squad One could march in and do what they do best.

Levi had already met Sam, but for a refresher, they went to the Blacksmith and Sam explained what he does as he was actually working on a sword for "Koi".

After which Leon would lead him out into the sun once more.

"Now, we went through all this so I can ask you. What do you think I'm missing?"

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi thought for a moment, strike squad...strike troops....defense and personal guard.....the only thing missing was....

"You need a battle commander, someone who can monitor the field actively and make changes as necessary. Given how little we know about Barker's forces, it is foolish to not fill this position...."

Levi knew that Leon may have very well been hinting at this, but he had asked his opinion, and that was what he got. Another test to see what kind of tactician he was? Perhaps, time would tell. Levi, being the human sensor net that he was, smiled as he spoke again.

"....and aside from you and myself, I don't know any other "sensors" in our territory...."

[Mr. Kaar]

"Your senses are far superior to mine. I have to use the equipment in my helmet to get close to what you can do. But your exactly right."

Leon would continue walking.

"So, up for it?"

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi nodded as they continued walking, his senses were indeed sharp and he was the obvious choice. He greeted some passing soldiers with a nod as he spoke to Leon.

"I suppose in that case I am the obvious choice, so yes....I am."

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would smile as he continued walking. Climbing the stone steps to the wall and looked out onto the lands that belonged to him and the Dragons as a whole.

"Levi... Do you know why I don't lead the troops myself?"

Levi took a moment to ponder Leon's question before answering. He had a few theories, but nothing concrete and he was interested to know.

"No, but I am curious....why don't you?"

[Mr. Kaar]

"I can create and inspire loyalty, build a tactful army and train it into a machine of combat, I can build and control a battlefield as my master before me taught."

Leon would hold up his right hand and let his electricity play about his fingers.

"The one thing I can not do is protect. I am a weapon forged in combat, strengthened in war, and tested in destruction. All those who follow me will eventually be destroyed by me. Yet, if I remain a symbol, something to look up to and be that inspiration for loyalty. Then All I have to do is live."

Rai showed up at Lightning tower with his entourage of people and he talked to the man at the front gate saying he needed to talk to Leon about some new Dragon inductees, and he would sit and wait for permission into the tower.

[Yachiru]

"Whoa...big tower! i wonder if his throne is just as big" Speaking with sarcasm again. "So just who are we going to see anyway Rai-Rai?" Yachiru peaked out from Rai-Rai's left shoulder to ask him.
