• Movies - Tai Long is a huge fan of kung-fu movies, and would spend hours watching them.
• Reading - Tai Long is an avid reader, reading all types of books, though he particularly likes reading books about Chinese history, particularly ancient Chinese history and the various weapons forged and wielded. He's also a bit of a comic book nut, and has a huge collection of comic books that occupies a good half of his bookshelf.
• Star-gazing - Ever since he was a little boy, Tai Long loved astronomy and sitting up on the roof of his house and staring up at the night sky and stars. Once he had saved enough money up, he bought himself a telescope, and every chance he gets, Tai Long goes outside to look at the night sky and stars.
  [li]Animals - Tai Long loves small animals such as rabbits and kitties, but he especially loves puppies, having always wanted a puppy as a small boy, but could never get one until he was much older.

Physical Information

Tai Long is lean and tall, he is built more for evading and striking quickly than just pure strength alone. He is rather tall in stature for an Asian, but it is nothing out of the ordinary. He has a skinny but lean, muscular form and a lightly tanned complexion. His muscles are toned and defined throughout his entire body from his daily training and sparring regiment, and he has a developed six-pack. He has medium length spiky black hair that he usually leaves alone, his front hair falling into and around his light brown eyes, which he inherited from his mother.

Tai Long's style of clothing stays the same for the most part. He most often wears a loose plain or graphic black or white t-shirt or muscle shirt, a black bulletproof overcoat on top, loose black track pants or blue jeans, black, red, and white runners, and a pair of small orange sunglasses.

Description of style: Tai Chi is an internal style that focuses on the control of energy. It is a very soft, gentle and flowing, but devastating when mastered. Tai Chi students learn to use little strength to defend themselves. With Tai Chi, the practitioner creates circles to pass by attacking energy and issues their own energy outward. While being used for combat, Tai Chi also serves as therapy for the purpose of health and longevity. "Tai Chi" literally translates into "Incredible Energy," and it earns its title.

History

Lee Tai Long, was the first born and only son of the third boss of the most powerful Triad in Shanghai, China, the Dragon Dynasty. However, he doesn't remember his parents. He has only the fuzziest of memories of them. They were killed when he was five years old. With his son dead, Tai Long's grandfather once more assumed the role of the second boss of the gang, while taking care of his grandson.

Growing up, Tai Long had a childhood just like every other kid, and was sent to elementary school, though like all kids, he rather play than study. As he grew up, Tai Long soon took his studies seriously, and was always near the top of his class. He wasn't the smartest, as his best friend, Jin Xiao, was the top of the class, but he was always second in the class. When Tai Long was fourteen, he witnessed Jin get killed by a rival Triad member when they were ambushed, right in front of his eyes. As a result of Jin's death, Tai Long rarely showed his true feelings, to help cope with the loss of his best friend.

After graduating from high school, Tai Long entered into Shanghai University, to become a doctor. When Sean Barker blew the world to kingdom come, Tai Long was inside the underground university library, working on a research paper. It was a stroke of dumb luck that saved him, for when he came upstairs, the building was half destroyed. After running home, much to his relief, his grandfather was safe. While the members set out to rebuild what had been destroyed in the destruction, his grandfather would send Tai Long to California, to gain some ground in what was once the city of Long Beach.

Qi Name: Summoning of the Water Dragon

Qi Ability: Water Manipulation/Wind Generation

Qi Description: Tai Long can control water in its various phases. He can solidify, manipulate, and bend liquid substances, allowing him to move and shape a body of water to his desire: lifting, parting or otherwise manipulating its form and density. As he carries multiple bottles of water on him at all times, Tai Long is able to control, manipulate, and move the water as he wishes. He is also able to control the temperature of water, allowing him to decrease the temperature of water and freeze it into ice, or increase the temperature of water and create steam. As ice is just another form of water, Tai Long also has control over ice and snow.

Gamble Fruit: Upon eating the Gamble Fruit, Tai Long gained the ability to create intense circles of wind when concentrating, allowing him to slam people like physical blows from afar.

Qi Strengths: Tai Long is limitless in what he can form water into, and can control water from nearly any source. Tai Long can take water from ice, steam, and even tiny moisture molecules in the air around him, given he has the time and focus to gather it up. He is also unaffected by boiling water, including his own, and cannot be frozen, scalded, or drowned by any means.

Qi Weaknesses: Tai Long must be physically touching the source of water he is controlling to manipulate the water. The more diluted the source, the longer it takes to focus and clean it. Forming the water takes some focus and practiced martial arts based movements, and the larger the source the more focus and body movements it takes to control the water.

After being taken in and cared for, once she had recovered, grateful to Jian, she joined to repay him, using her knowledge in Chemistry to craft smokebombs and various other items to aid the squad.
