CRACK
Another collective 'oooooh of sympathy rose from the Tengu gathered. Delilah blinked down at the young man who now lay unconscious on the mats.
She blinked. "Huh."
Birch tittered, "Way to break the new guy, Del."
"Get him up on the bleachers. Talon, bring him around."
Birch and Sergei would haul the man up to the aluminum bleachers, making sure he was upright. Talon would kneel on the ground in front of him to keep him upright, tapping his cheek to wake him up.
Once the white haired boys purple eyes opened, the burly Irishman would pry the lids of Koshiro's eyes open, gazing into them to examine the pupils. Once he found his answer, he would start checking his head for lumps or cuts.
"What's your name? What day is it? Do you know where you are? Do you remember what happened?"

"oooooow Damn Ma'am that hurt." Looking at the doctor he answered "I am Koshiro. Disowned from the WarHazzard's therefore I have no last name. I was hit over the head with a damn pipe......or well that's what it feels like. I am in the gym at the nest inside crow territory." He looked at his watch. " it is 6:58 in the morning. The day is.....I actually didn't know when I woke up this morning. Being a drifter for several years does that to a man. I can however tell you what time it is in Zurich...." He looked at Delilah.
"ma'am. I am fine. Aside from a hell of a bruise that's going to leave and the headache I am going to have in about 5 minutes, I am ready to continue." He stood walked down the bleachers, stumbled a but then testing himself......and showing off a bit he jumped grabbed a pipe on the ceiling pulled up broughthis legs to the ceiling and pushed off doing a back flip onto a weight bench pushing off front flipping into a roll, rolling across the ground and up to Delilah. Stopped, and stood at attention. "On second thought. Can I get some pancakes or something? Ma'am?"

Satisfied with his answers, Talon stepped back...and then they all watched as the boy flipped around in a feat of pure dextrous agility. Delilah simply watched with a raised eyebrow at the display. Ah, the young.
..which was silly, because she was the same age as him, maybe a few months older. But she felt much, much older than her years. Perhaps it was her boundless experience.
As he bounced to his feet out of the roll and stated his request, Delilah would blink her eyes just once at him. The Tengu around her went still at the ever so subtle gesture, stopping their gawking at Koshiro's antics.
"You got hit because you think too much," she told him, bluntly. "You flip around and do tricks too much. You expend too much energy. Tire yourself, making yourself prone to mistakes.
"Birch."
The blonde, handsome man would step out of the small group, beaming. "Yes'M?"
Delilah threw him the staff. "Please, show us the chiyo-tenchi-tobi."
"Yes'm!" he tittered, happy. The crowd backed off a bit as Birch twirled the staff expertly in his hands and Delilah stood before him, calmly, with her hands at her sides.
She would glance over her shoulder at Koshiro, eyebrow raised.
"Watch." she would instruct.
The attacks would begin.
With expert precision. Birch would jab for Delilah's mid section, three times in rapid succession, one aimed for the left side, two for the right. Then, cutting a swath for the head, followed by a sweep for the legs, and then a diagonal cut upwards from left to right.
The jabs she dodged with an almost aloof expression, barely twitching her body out of the way so that the staff avoided her completely, though she would almost appear not to move. The weapon made a slash for her head and she ducked under it, the stick brushing the clipped ends of her hair. As he came down for the sweep to her legs, she simply lifted her legs to her chest; for the diagonal slash, one of the hardest cuts to avoid, she took a step backwards, completely out of the line of fire.
This would continue for a few more minutes that involved Delilah not even being touched once. Eventually, upon the next jab that passed harmlessly over her shoulders, she put a palm to the weapon and ripped it from Birch's grasp, sending him stumbling forward and into her raised foot, which caught him in the stomach. He fell to the ground, half laughing, half gasping for air. She would turn back to look at Koshiro.
"When you jump around like that, you commit too much to a singular action. It leaves you open for an attack or a hit. Expending as little energy as possible tires out your opponents and leaves you in a position to take advantage of an opening when they get careless and desperate to hit you.
"Every defense is an offense. Wakarimasu ka?" <Do you understand?>

"Ma'am. I understand." He was sitting on the ground crisscrossed watching the fight. He stood and walked straight over to Birch and stuck out a hand to help him up. "Moving around at first will keep your enemy off guard, as they get desperate to hit me is when I shape up. In a real fight I will try, but its just so much fun to show off skills." He did concede that she was right. However he didn't really have a choice after all. She was right. He knew this he should have been less focused on showing off to the group.

Birch would happily accept the hand to help him to his feet, still laughing and coughing. Because he loved that sort of thing. Loved it gooood.
To his statement, Delilah just smiled. Slowly, perhaps a touch creepy and with a bit too much humour. She chuckled darkly.
"You can also do that by not being seen. Speaking of," she made a quick hand gesture to Talon who would nod and walk to every member of the Tengu, holding out a long, rectangular scrap of cloth to each before securing his own over his eyes.
"Your next excersize will be sensory deprivation. Walk about the room. Learn it's lay out with sound and touch. You are not to speak. If you hear a noise and you are nearby, attack the source of the noise. If you sense someone nearby, attack them. If you are the causer of the noise, or if you bump into someone, your task will be to avoid attacks you can't see coming.
"Go."
[OOC: This excersize will test your Wisdom, Dexterity and Intelligence. This next bit will run like a GM campaign and will take place over multiple posts.
Good luck!]

Koshiro put on the blindfold, a little reluctantly but never the less. He staggered around bumping into a couple things then realizing where he was he jumped up to the ceiling and grabbed the pipe he had been on before. He pulled up and stayed listening.
(The idea is basically he looks like batman hanging there, no one would bump into him or know he was there.)
He listened for breathing especially right under him. He waited suddenly he heard someone under him breathing, not heavily just normally. He dropped aiming a punch for what he hoped was their back.

For a while, as Koshiro hung there, he would hear nothing. The men and woman below were well versed in the art of stealth and it would be some time before the tired young man heard any sound.
Then, he would hear it; a scuff, a shoe on the ground. And Koshiro would drop...
...right into a trap
-WHUMPF-
"OW GODDAMMIT" Nick would cry out as Koshiro hit him--
--then the wiry skin-heads strong arms would seize the tall Warhazzard by his upper arms, grabbing him close. And then, suddenly, the rest of the team was on him. Kicks, punches, nothing held back. if he tried to get up, it would be Nigel's brawny arms that would seize him in a bear hug, holding him in place while the rest of the team found ways to hurt the new recruit. They had been waiting for him, had heard the noise as he grabbed onto the metal bar of the ceiling. Nick had been bait.
After a good minute of that, Delilah would whistle, sharply. "RESET. Koshiro, I have a feeling that shit isn't gonna work a second time. Go."

Everything reset. The group scattered. He stood waiting listening he looked around, not actually but out of habit. He felt what was in front of him, he knew where he was, he looked up. Mapping in his head where the ceiling was. Instantly he knew where another pipe was. He leaped. Grabbing this one much more quietly than before. However, to little to late. He had made too much noise. Another shoe squeak. He knew what to do he put his feet on the wall and pushed. Launching across the gym, silently. He knew where he was going. He reached out. Shifted his body, pointing out his 2 index fingers he touched the bar on a weight bench. He had seen it earlier, he knew there was about 150 pounds on the bar. The two fingers made contact he shifted and allowed momentum to take it from here. For just a moment a picture would show him standing on his fingers straight up with his feet in the air. He let his feet pull him cartwheeling off of the bar. He shifted his body weight again. Landing on his knees and elbows. A sharp point to land that made no noise at all. Tightening into a roll he rolled under 2 benches and stopped. Standing only into a crouching position. He listened. He had made no noise st all from the leap across. To the blindfolded trap setters it would seem as if he wad still hanging there. He made no noise from heavy breathing as the only energy he used wad the initial push. He stood, listening. He heard a noise of what he knew was an exhale. He moved the opposite way. Making his way to the bleachers, He crouched underneath them waiting for someone to pass by him. He had a trap of his own this time.

--Except the blindfold wielding trap-setters were still walking around at this point, milling about. Only Nigel would stand beneath where Koshiro had once been, leaning against the wall, listening. Not that he could see him.
As Koshiro rolled under one of the benches of the weight area, Heather would walk by, stepping silently as she rolled her foot forward from the heel of her foot, around the outside edge, and to the ball where her toes curled against the stryofoam. One of them would crack slightly, a nitrogen bubble popping in the joint.

Koshiro sat quietly waiting. Then realizing the exercise was more about moving than hiding he rolled out and to a pillar. He felt it and stood. Looking around as if he could see, he pictured the area and pieced it together from memory. He knew where most of the stuff was. He took two steps forward and heard something, he wasn't sure what, but he jumped to the pillar and pushed off of it in the direction of the sound. Arms out ready to take on whatever it was.

As he launched himself off the wall, instead of the noise, he would barrel headlong into one of the other people migrating towards it; none other than Talon.
Koshiro would crash into the heavier man and both would go down, surprised, in a tangle of limbs. Reflexively, large meaty fists would start trying to find landing places for hard punches.
Feet would gently patter on the ground, heading towards the new sound of both men hitting the floor....

(OOC: LOL Good one Del!)
As Koshiro was hitting the person. He realized how much noise was being made. He pushed off of him and jumped back. Grabbed the man by the arm trying to pull him off to the side so he wouldn't be pummeled by the others. He leaned down while attempting to drag him. "Trust me, I am trying to help you. Come on."

--it was an admirable effort. And if this had been a gang situation, or a prison, or anything else other than the excersize it was, it would have been a smart idea. But Delilah's instructions had been very specific; if you feel someone beside you, or hear a noise, attack. If you are being attacked, defend.
The group of men and woman would swarm them both, shit kicking the ever loving daylights out of Koshiro and Talon.
Delilah whistled again, laughing quietly.
"RESET."

He stood, Lightheaded, in pain, starting to have trouble from all the stress he had been putting on his body. He thought this was going to be a sparring match with Delilah, but NO! OH NO! It had to be a shit kicking session! Well he wasn't going to disappoint. He ignored the stealth part this time. Stuck his sword off to the side. He would pick it up before leaving. He knelt down and used everything he could and listened. He heard about 3 different sounds. He picked up a bunch of small weights and throwing them as hard as he could with the best accuracy he could in front of and behind the noises he heard. (Using Wisdom, Strength, and Dexterity) He also quietly grabbed a Weight bar and set it in the walkway. This time. He was going to win! He waited quietly listening for the weights to hit. (To clarify, He set the bar down first.)

The first noise he would hear was a small cough on the left. The second, a swish of a pair of legs being rubbed together. The third, a woosh of air as one of the Tengu was hit in the stomach.
And then the weights went flying. Normally, Delilah would be against people deliberately trying to harm her team to the point of stopping the weights from being thrown themselves, so she watched.
While they didn't actually hit anyone, the weights landing made a loud enough noise that they definitely attracted the attention of the Tengu, two of who stubbed their toes against the wrought iron and hissed in pain, only to be assailed by their comrades a moment later. The others managed to work their way around them using the kitsune aruki technique of walking as if through a forest full of dry twigs.
Steadily and silently heading towards the blinded Koshiro.
