Mathew strides up like a Mother fucking baller, whistling as he walked so he was making enough noise to not startle Leon was was apparently growing blinder by the day. A depressing fact, but one that Mathew didn't think he could change. Not now at least.

Leon having actually lost all his sight was almost exclusively relying on his senses, though not as strong as Levi he could tell when someone as strong as him was around... Oddly enough it just felt very... Mathew. So Leon wasn;t at all surprised by the whistling and such, even the statement.

He spun the headband on his finger as he approached the throne. A smirk on his face.

Leon would flip his hand over so Mathew could set the headband down, he knew what he was speaking of.
"So you spoke with Reisuke. What did you learn?"

"Well apparently killing Barker won't do anything but make shit worse. He said I need to think of my enemy as a Hydra. And apparently the question I should ask myself is 'who will die first. Me or the enemy.' Which really, is kind of a cop out answer to my question of what do I need to ask myself. Because the answer is likely the enemy will die first, unless I'm careless. Same as it always is."
He said with a roll of his eyes as he set the headband down and stomped his foot to rise up a stone chair next to Leon's throne. Out of respect of it being Leon's place he made it a simple and smaller chair than Leon's throne. This was his domain.
"So I'm guessing he was an Qi imprint and the price is taken by messing with my body's energy?"

"Yeah, Reisuke was the first Sudeki, his ability seems to have imprinted himself on the headband and since has been a useful albeit dangerous tool."
Leon would grip the headband using his sense to see its power. Though the only thing he could tell was if it was stronger than himself.
"He manipulates your own energy while you wear it and takes his price, gaining power to stay 'alive' as it where."

"Makes sense that would be why he was willing to haggle. All in all I think I got a good deal considering I already have daughters."
He said with a hearty laugh. Nothing like one upping a demon to start your day.
"So I think I need to get back in shape. I know David thinks he has reached his potential. I think I'm going to one up him, and I have just the sparring partner in mind to help me do that..."
