Mathew was out in the middle of God Territory, unsure of what to expect with this meeting. But there was something that he needed to know. And a lot of his plans hinged on the answer to this question. The headband of Grave Sudeki was in his hands. A trophy from Rai, and a vital part of taking down Barker. More important than he would know.
"Well, you were never afraid of Man or Gods. What's a Demon to you Matty boy."
And with that he slipped on the headband over his eyes.

With that Mathew would see total darkness until finally the world appeared before him as it does now, except everything appeared to be made of a liquid flame. Mathew would be able to feel a twinge in his eyes like a small headache starting to build.
Finally near by he'd be able to see what appeared to be a man near by, hair as black as the smoke of a fire, eyes a similar solid black, yet his mouth filled with jagged teeth and cracks continuing beyond the corners of his mouth opening almost an entire half of his head as he smiled.
"Hello Mathew. I've been wondering how long it would take for you to put the headband on."

"So you've been expecting me? Good. You might be useful after all."
He said raising his head as he turned to face the man. He did his best to push the headache to the back of his mind. He could shoulder through this to get what he needed. It was important.
"I need answers of the future. But first I'm asking this. What is the cost of your aid?"
He did not expect a Demon to deal for free.

The guy would click his tongue a bit, before shaking his head slowly.
"Sorry, thats not how the game works. You could ask if you really wanna know..."
The headache would begin to grow a bit more.

"Heh. That's what I thought. The problem is what if I only have two or three years left. Dropping dead with my answer hardly does me any good. I need some assurance on this, since I'm assuming you want your payment."
Probably more than he needed answers. He could continue on, but what did this demon need payment for?

The demon would ponder putting a long pointed finger to his chin, the ends blackened from their usually white skin.
"How about the years of another?"

"No years. How about my fertility? Should something happen to my children now, my line ends with me then."
He figured he would be unable to bargain with the life of someone that wasn't him, unless they were part of him. Meaning his children. Which was not an option.
