He said simply. Surprisingly not concerned about it. He had seen what he could do, and as much as he hated to admit it. It surpassed his current ability by a fair amount. Thus that was what he would strive to surpass.

That hasn't happened in years. He shot Leon a quick look as he pursed his lips momentarily.
"Who did you think I had in mind. You didn't seem to be surprised until I mentioned the Kraken."
He grinned. Good to know he could still surprise Leon after all these years.

Leon just shook his head.
"I figured you'd found someone around as strong as us. I felt the strength of the Kraken once and it got my blood boiled as if I was going to fight Ark again back when I was a freshman."

He grinned.
"Can you believe their might still be a deep end for us?"
It was almost unreal. He was honestly afraid that he was going to be disappointed when he actually fought the Kraken, but he had seen him in action. He appeared to be the real deal.
