Day one of training and Mitsuki was itching to start. She was back on the roof, waiting for David's instructions.

David stepped out onto the roof, slowly closing the door so he didn't wake the sleeping hild inside. The girls had taken the bed, him the couch- which suited him fine. It was better than a rat infested hotel. He came out fully clothed and itemized, expecting the girl to have the same. He would approach, cracking his neck.
"Alright. Upper body training. First, lets stretch, then get in two hundred pushups. Once your done, I'll be your new personal punching bag- I won't attack or fight back, defensive only, so I don't want you to worry about protecting yourself. Attack me full force, and do not use your legs. Lets muscle up your top, and remember how to take someone down. Go."
He would join her in the pushups, easily breezing through two hundred while barely getting a heart pickup. Once done, he would stand and wait for her to finish before bringing up his arms, bent at the elbow, palms facing Mitsuki.
"Attack."

Stats Strength: 52 Dexterity: 47 Constitution: 64 Intelligence: 53 Wisdom: (29x2.5)+(10-3) = 79.5 (...not that she'll be needing this stat anyway. :|) Charisma: 59 ...had she ever done 200 pushups before? She dropped to the ground as she started the first of the 200. She kept a mental count in her head and made sure to keep proper position. It was a little over 100 (OOC: ..since her strength is like...half yours) when she started feeling the pain, the soreness, but kept her steady pace. Around 180 she began feeling a burn, and by the time she got to 190 she had slowed down. Arms began to ache and...was even a bit shake-y by the time she hit 195. By 200, her pace was significantly slower than when she had first started...and her arms were terribly sore. She had no reason to believe that any of her attacks would actually hit David, but that didn't mean she couldn't try. That would be her goal- to land a hit. Her body moved forward, not at full speed because they were on the roof, but close enough. Her left hand aimed straight towards his right shoulder, which was unconventional because most people attacked diagonally (left shoulder).

He watched passively, taking a few steadying breaths from his own warm up. He shook out his hands, waiting for her to attack. As she came in close, and threw her punch, he would shift his closest hand into the path of her punch, her small fist smashing into his hand with some force despite her behind tired from the warm up.
He took half a step back, not closing his fist around hers so she could easily draw it back. He waited for her to press forward.
"C'mon- don't half ass it Mitsuki. Bring the pain."

OOC: LAHLLL...lemme know if the detail is confusing.
With such a straight forward attack, she had expected him to block...what was pleasing, however, was that he didn't grab her fist giving her a lot of leeway for her next move. Her fist had been a straight-away attack...until she rotated it (the fist) 90 degrees to the left against his palm. Her fingers would uncurl, but in such a way that it would snake past his thumb, allowing her to push against his wrist outwardly (like knocking/pushing his arm away) while her right, in a blade, aimed for his sternum.

'Woah- here we go.'
David followed her movements precisely, impressed at her sudden follow-up. Using his other hand, he would come down and grab the wrist of the stabbing hand, before he would spin clockwise around Mitsuki's form, releasing her wrist at the appropriate moment before waiting again for her to attack.
"Pressure. Pressure, dammit. Don't let me move too much!"
He was her superior, physically, so he had to amp up the rhetoric in order to both give her training and help her adapt. Soon, he would start training her physically by putting her through obstacle courses, training her mind by testing her while blindfolded, or while causing distractions around her. All in good time~

She...had greatly underestimated David.
Perhaps one of her struggles in adapting back into the fighting life was that she was not a very aggressive person. Her attacks were always very calculated to end a fight simply to end it- up until now, it worked like a charm...because up until this training session, she hadn't fought someone 'above' her fighting ability.
His movements weren't difficult too follow, but unfortunately her body wasn't capable of keeping up with her mind. He moved quick, her mind moved quicker...but...almost useless, because a) he wasn't counter-attacking and b) physically, she still couldn't keep up.
Her greatest strength was her foresight. Her weakness... Hm.
Upon release and during his talk, she would push forward..again. She was itching to use her lower body, but she understood fully well why she was only allowed to use her upper.
She got low. Right arm extended in a dragon's claw, aimed for his lower gut, her left succeeding right after at his mid-chest while her right arm would move a little higher...

He jumped back, avoiding the blows, but stopping short and wavering at the edge of the building, looking behind him a moment in shock before returning his eyes forward- he would have lost a few moments from eye contact with her so she had a small opening- would she press it, even though he would fall?

She would, because she knew he could fly if he even fell. She would rather overestimate his abilities than underestimate them again.
Upon his jumping back, she would rush forward. Fast enough to keep up, but cautious enough to make sure she, herself, wouldn't topple off the edge of the building.
A palm strike- right up against his chest.

David grunted- the hit struck home, his tightly corded chest "thwapping" under her hand as it connected, sending him over the edge.
But he didn't fly.
No Qi. And he meant it. His hands would grab the lip of the edge, before his other hand grabbed as well. He would pull sharply, flipping up and over Mitsuki before landing and putting a hand over his chest, coughing before grinning.
"Good. Not afraid to press your enemies. I would have been disappointed if you had gone soft there."
Which is what she said.
He would hold up a hand, five fingers stretched out.
"Five minute break, then Defense."

... "David?" Until she saw his figure rebounding up and over her. Give her a heart attack, why don't you. ...she felt kind of happy, knowing she hadn't disappointed him. And then...defense, which was her strength- but... Her jaw clenched. He was not an opponent she would want to be defending against.

He would head over to the stairs, grabbing a water bottle behind the ledge before turning and tossing it to her, grabbing one of his own.
"We switch quickly to stabilize what you recognize as your offensive ability and defensive ability. This lets you kind of...I don't know- understand strength and weaknesses you posess- after all, its what your enemy will notice first, right?."
He would set it down before cracking his neck again, still giving her a bit to cool off.

She caught the water bottle and took a drink.
She had higher expectations of herself in this arena of work. She nodded agreeing with his words, but remained silent herself.
Mitsuki did a mental check of their surroundings. If she were to be pushed off the ledge...well, she was not as confident as David. Let's leave it at that.

David lurched forward, aiming a left cross to the side of her face.
He didn't think he needed to say that she was not to attack- only defend. He wouldn't push his hardest either- but harder than her, definitely. After all, if she ever wanted to get better and stronger she had to fight those who are stronger. understanding your limits was important, and pushing them even more so. If his Cross was blocked, he would follow up with a right uppercut, aiming for her gut.
Stats:
Str: 65 Dex: 65 Con: 76
All other stats on the left.

Strength: 52 Dexterity: 47 Constitution: 64 Intelligence: 53 Wisdom: (29x2.5)+(10-3) = 79.5 Charisma: 59
When he launched, she was not ready. But that was the point, wasn't it? She watched as his left hand extended toward her upper body and all that she could do to defend herself, from this attack, was take a couple steps back, finding her center of balance and footing along the way. He was disgustingly fast, and she as sure he wasn't going all out on her, too.
So this is what offense looked like...
No rest.
His next attack, she knew, was for her lower torso. For him to aim an uppercut at her gut meant he would have to lower himself because of the difference in height. He had 9" on her. Her left arm would push down (elbow to the side, arm bent). She wasn't fast enough to completely block it, but perhaps she could buffer some of the force against her lower body if a second force acting upon his arm pushed down.
