Passing through Barker territory to reach Crow territory was a b$2ch. Because Mitsuki was travelling by foot, and because she didn't want to be seen...most of her movements were during the night. Dawn would just be starting to break when she finally crossed from one to the other.
She didn't see anyone, but she didn't doubt that she wasn't already spotted. Her gas mask came off and she openly wandered in. If someone attacked her, she would not fight back- perhaps defend herself, but...
Well. Someone has to show up at some time to address a stranger walking in, right?

Indeed, the conspicuous female had been spotted. And not just by the civilians, who were starting their various daily routines, looking at the new comer with only mild suspicion. Everyone was welcome in the Crow lands without any penalties or restrictions...
...that did not mean, however, that they weren't watched with intense scrutiny.
Delilah was on her morning rounds through the territory with young Oliver dogging her heels, making herself available to complaints and concerns. As she stopped to speak with Beth Cooper, one of the seamstresses in the area, Oliver took his chance to run ahead of his mother, round a corner, and explore.
Now, the young, white haired boy with one solid black eye and the other, normal blue trapised about through lands he thought as his humming an aimless tune to himself...when he saw something out of place.
A woman. One he had never seen before, a strange mask at her side. He tilted his head to the side, staring, solemn. Just looking at her.
It would just be the two of them, for the time.
A boy and the strange woman, on the ruined streets of Long Beach.

A STAND OFF.
Just kidding.
The pale tone of his hair was...oddly familiar. Immediately, her thoughts went to "Unfettered". Did he have a child too?
WHAT WAS IT WITH EVERYONE SHE KNOWS HAVING CHILDREN. It was as if the world was mocking her.
She wouldn't be surprised. Emily and Kazuya had a kid.
But for "Unfettered" to move on...hnnh. Who would've known...
She didn't know what to do. Was it okay for him to be alone? She didn't think it wise to approach him, considering she was a stranger...but she didn't want to leave him quite alone either. Not that he was totally alone- there were people everywhere.
But she would wave..and offer a polite, if not kind smile.

Oliver would tilt his head slightly to the side at the lady's little smile. She seemed kind...but intimidating. There was a chill emanating from her and, perhaps, a little bit of exasperation? Hard to tell; Oliver did not yet know these words or their meanings. He was going off of things based simply on what his instincts told him.
And his instincts were telling him that the strange lady was alright. He lifted up a hand and...performed the traditional Nazi salute that he had learned from a certain white haired German a few days prior, giggling. He had recently taken to imitating the leader of Crows, finding it amusing...and illuminating to be in shoes so large.
"Gutentag, fraulein!" he chirped, before lowering his hand. "I'm Oliver! What's your name?"

She grinned; the similarities were almost too great to deny. It didn't matter if he and the German were (un)related by blood anymore. "Unfettered" definitely had some sort of influence in his life, father figure or not.
Besides. She had no right to feel what speculators might think she would feel, because she had a daughter of her own. But due to unfortunate circumstances... Hnnh. Thoughts dismissed.
"Gutentag."
Unfamiliar sounds rolling off her tongue as she greeted him back, but without the outstretched hand.
"I'm Mitsuki."
Pause.
"What are you doing wandering alone?"

Oliver opened his mouth to reply, more than eager to explain--
--when a black haired woman rounded the corner at what was almost a sprint, stopping on a dime at the sight of her son. The blue eyed woman shook the panicked expression from her face with an exasperated huff of air. "OLIVER."
The boy looked over his shoulder at his mother, innocent as ever. "Mama!" he pointed at the lady standing a little ways off. "That's a Mitsuki!"
Her eyes flicked up to the strange woman for a moment, then to the roof top on her left, then back to her son, still frowning. She strode forward dropping to a knee beside her son, gripping him lightly by the arms to stare into his eyes.
"How many times have I told you not to run off without me?"
"Um...lots?"
Delilah nodded vigorously. "YES, LOTS. And why does mama not want you to go off on your own?"
The boys beaming face would dim a bit and he would drop his gaze, looking down. "So that the bad men can't get me again."
More nodding, "That's right. Now, you stay with me at all times when we're outside the 'Nest. Wakarimasu ka? <Do you understand?>"
His head bobbed slightly. "Hai. Wakarimasu." <Yes. I understand.>
She smiled tersely and gathered her son into a hug, "Good." She stood with him as she hauled the tallish boy into her arms. Smiling, she walked forward to the strange woman, nodding.
"Mitsuki, huh? A pleasure. My name is Delilah...Black..."
She trailed off as the name of the woman before her began ringing bells.
"You're...were you once the captain of two-five-nine?" the mechanic would ask, unsure. She had never met Mitsuki in person.

Mitsuki would silently observe. A small, perhaps even a bit of a sad smile, would twitch on her lips as she listened to the dialogue between Oliver and his mom. She had taken greater interest in the conversation when the mother spoke in Japanese. Mm. There was something about meeting others who knew the mother tongue... "Mitsuki, huh? A pleasure. My name is Delilah...Black... You're...were you once the captain of two-five-nine?" So.. Delilah and "Unfettered"...? Well. It made sense. Her last name would have thrown her off if a certain someone hadn't already shed some light of her. At Delilah, she would nod her head. She had been Captain for three and a half years, relinquishing her duties to David Blaze because she needed to 'buff up'. Unfortunately, she finished her studies at #259 before she had a chance to retrieve her title. "Delilah Black. The pleasure is mine since... I'm actually here to meet with you." A soft smile. Her eyes would flicker over to Oliver for a brief moment...before meeting Delilah's eyes again. "...and "Unfettered", but rumor has it he goes by 'Zero', now..?"

A firm blink greeted this. Both a confirmation that the woman standing in front of her was indeed Mitsuki Park and...of the request to meet with her as well. Strange that this woman would know her name so readily...or was it?
"I would be happy to. And you are quite right: Zero Win--I mean, 'Unfettered' should be back at the base. In the meantime, I'd be happy to talk with you. Do you prefer a formal setting, or would you rather remain outside?" Delilah jerked her head slightly to indicate the park bench made out of a carved cement barrier not too far behind where they currently stood. Otherwise, she would lead Mitsuki to her office in the Crow's garage.
The raven haired mechanic would hold her tongue, for the moment. Hospitality first, questions later.

"Mm. I feel a formal setting might be more appropriate."
Mitsuki was only suggesting this because the content of their conversation would probably not be for public ears. Not saying Delilah would entrust Mitsuki with any such information, nor vice versa- but. Information slippage was always possible.
And...not so strange that Mitsuki would know her name. It had been a couple weeks since she stepped foot in California, meeting with various people, names being tossed around...
She would quietly fall into step beside Delilah. Unless she had any immediate questions of her own while they walked, she would keep silent until they reached Del's office.
Small talk wasn't exactly up Mitsuki's alley during the more 'formal' meetings...

Delilah would nod, smiling. "No problem. Please, follow me."
Balancing Oliver in her arms, Delilah would lead Mitsuki Park to the large, concrete structure that sat near the marina. The closer they got, there would be more signs of military activity, men and women in teams running drills in the early morning sun, the voices of the drill sergeants ringing out over what remained of the once industrial shipping area.
As they walked up to the 'Nest, Delilah would lift a hand to her ear and speak into the blue-tooth set attached there for a moment, nodding this way and that to the various Crows that acknowledged their First. She would lead the woman up the steps and there, standing in the entrance, would be an eternally smiling, handsome blonde man. Delilah would start to hand the young boy to the man when he would whistle in appreciation at the sight of the beautiful Japanese/Korean girl following his commanding officer.
"Well, hel-lo. Who's your friend, ma'am? No, wait, me first," the man would bow with a sweep and a flourish, beaming at the new visitor.
"Welcome to the Crows Nest; my name is Birch Valiant of the Tengu and I am at your disposal, miss...?"

She followed after Delilah, taking note of the discipline the Crows were implementing on their men and women.
Impressive.
Miss Delilah Black's reputation was unsurprising. Mitsuki didn't expect anything less than the respect she garnered from the Crows, clearly shown through their acknowledgement of her when she passed their way. And then there was the blonde man. She gave him a blank stare- she was not accustomed to being called out in such a manner. It was..uh, flattering.
"Mitsuki Park," she would reply in a polite manner, her own head giving a slight nod/bow.
Her eyes would trail to Del, an eyebrow arching... Interesting character, that guy.
Once inside, she figured they could get down to asking the questions, because she was sure she wasn't the only one that had them.

Delilah would glance at Mitsuki as she arched her eyebrow at her and rolled her eyes in agreement. Birch was certainly a character.
Case and point...
Birch's smile widened as he straightened his back, ignoring the women's exchanged glances and gazing at Mitsuki with bright, green eyes. "Such a pleasure, Miss Park. You are quite a sight, if I may say. A lotus in an ocean of algae. I haven't seen you around here before, have I?"
Delilah would sigh, and Oliver would giggle at Birch's funny words. Good LORD. "Birch," she warned, and not for the first time
"Aw, c'mon ma'am, I'm just being hospitable! Like a good Crow." he winked at the Asian woman. "So, you doing anything later?"
Both of the raven haired mechanic's eyebrows shot up and she looked over at Mitsuki. If either of her hands were free, she would have held them aloft as to say. Be my guest....if she were inclined to hit him, that is.

-___-;; A lotus in an ocean of algae....................Mitsuki was not used to being so blatantly hit on. If this were an anime, the Asian would probably have a large sweat drop. Was she doing anything later? "Perhaps." An ambiguous answer, but not unwarranted. She had planned on seeing "Unfettered" after meeting with Delilah, but she was reminded of how busy it was to meet with Leon and David of the Dragons. She meant no disrespect toward Birch by replying to him with one word. It's just...she'd never met anyone so...forward. She would not hit him; it was not in her character to do so. That, and she knew Birch meant no disrespect nor harm with his words, so... Well, she kinda felt a little bit awkward.

Birch was not at all daunted by the one word answer. If anything, the fact that she didn't belt him in the face or dismiss him outright encouraged the former actor, his INDESCRIBABLE JOY now evident on his handsome features.
"'Perhaps', huh? Well, 'perhaps' later we can go out for a drink? Once you're finished with m'lady of course?" he held out his arms for Oliver, who happily went to his loquacious friend with only a head-shake from Del. He winked at Mitsuki. "Nice little collection of the drink here in the mess hall. See you later~?" he waggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"Ho-KAAAY, dismissed, soldier. Oliver, be good for Birch."
"HAI!" the boy called over Birch's shoulder as the blonde man spirited him away. Still shaking her head, Delilah would lead Mitsuki into the concrete halls of the Crow's base, through the hallways and to...a meeting room, one that was already prepared and even had a pot of coffee brewing. There would be three seats within the room, none of them occupied. Delilah would offer Mitsuki a chair, politely, before taking a seat across from her, sitting with her spine ramrod straight, blue eyes staring directly at Miss Park.
"So. Welcome to Crows, Miss Park. And welcome back to Long Beach."

The whole ordeal that happened with Birch was brushed aside from Tsuki's mind because it was irrelevant for her current purpose. This was shown from her lack in expression when he suggested they grab drinks after her meeting with his lady. Unfortunately, Mitsuki doesn't drink, so... She stared blankly as the exchange happened before following Delilah into the conference room.
She took a seat where Delilah had directed. The smell of coffee filled the area, which was...aesthetically very pleasing.
"Thanks," she replied, her blue eyes matched evenly with her black. Briefly, Mitsuki wondered what ethnicity this woman was, to speak Japanese and have blue eyes...?
"I came here because I was informed, upon arriving in California, that you were the future of the allied forces."
A pause.
"...that is quite the hefty title you've got there, Miss Black."
A small smile, one of kindness- she was here to not only (hopefully) gain some more information concerning the relations between the Crows with the Dragons and Gods and how they planned on approaching the war against Barker, but she was also here to offer assistance; not as a member of the Crows itself, but merely as an extra pair of hands if they should ever be in need. But, judging with how they were faring, with the drills in motion and the discipline they set on their members...
...but it never hurt to have an extra pair of skilled hands, did it? Especially in a time of war against Barker.
