Name - Kyrie Elysia Barrial
Age - Twenty-two. (May 11th)
Appearance
Standing at just five-feet, four-inches, Kyrie has a willowy frame despite her small stature, and weighs in at no more than one-hundred-fifteen pounds--probably soaking wet. She has a lean and trim build, with gentle curves; she's constantly in motion and with countless interests, it's hard to keep still. Thick and kitten-soft, the young woman's honey-blonde hair curls gently and easily ends at the bottom of her spine. Her eyes are a true, crystalline blue, but appear more gray the farther away she is from the viewer. Her skin is faintly tanned to give her a healthy glow.
Style of dress tends to be whatever is comfortable. Jeans, flow-y shorts, skirts, even dresses tend to fit into her wardrobe. Her favourite shoes are those spiffy "vibram" ones, but she can be frequently found in sandals and sometimes even boots, depending on what else she's wearing.
Personality
Since her high school days have passed, Kyrie has progressed from a very quiet - almost withdrawn - and introverted individual into someone that finds quiet joy in life. With her family she is still all the more animated and open, but she exudes a natural calm and grace, and frequently will offer gently quiet smiles even to strangers. Overall, despite being quiet, it does not necessarily mean she is always shy. The blonde has a stable outlook on life, and adores laughing, life, and love.
While her intelligence is still keen and quick, she is quite apt to muse to herself. And though her mind is constantly moving and adapting to new information, she is not paranoid.
Her appearance still gives her the "you need to protect me" vibe, she doesn't utilize it. In fact, Kyrie is quite capable of handling herself, despite her appearance screaming otherwise.
History
Kyrie Barrial has lead a comfortable life since she was born to her parents, Alexander and Gabriella Barrial. The family could trace their lineage back with Patents, and both were among the old "nobility" for both their French and British backgrounds. However, a title is merely a title in this day and age, and Kiyr will quietly keep her own title of privilege a secret, along with her first name.
Her family, though by no means rich, was well off and could comfortably care for their family. Kiyr is not the youngest child in her family, but the middle. She has four siblings, two older, two younger.
Not hard done by, but not of incredibly wealthy stock meant she was able to attend a private school (though to be fair, they were all sent to the Public School System until their high school years) but still had to work for what she had. If she wanted to play sports - and she did, almost driving her parents crazy with the sheer amount of activities she wanted to take part in - she had to earn it. Earn it she did. Piano, dance, soccer, baseball, school-hosted sports, she was there with almost endless energy.
Add to it a healthy thirst and appreciation for knowledge, and Kiyr had her schedule full. She never seemed to grow resentful of it, only worked harder to continue excelling at things. So while she played baseball, her mind raced ahead to homework, essays, poetry, what she would be doing later, while she focused on the game at hand.
A major bump in her life thus far has been moving from where her heart lives in Seattle, to Long Beach, California, following her father's transference from Seattle's Children's Hospital (Oncology (Cancer) Unit) to a Hospital in Long Beach due to becoming overwhelmed. They moved shortly after she turned seventeen and the blonde had to put her skills of remaining invisible to the test during the last three quarters of a month of the school year, to which she attended PHS #259, but briefly. She simply likened herself to a shadow on the wall, and so darkness she became, avoiding fights and scrapes and scuffles.
In her final year of high school, she was enrolled in a private school and graduated with no problems. Driven forward to more school because of her thirst for learning, she was accepted to CSULB and began taking Music and Language courses on top of general courses.
During the summer (and even at times on the side) Kyrie began to pick up several part-time jobs. Though she lived at home, and despite being well-off, her parents charged her rent for the year, on top of paying for her courses. Needless to say, her summers were hectic and filled with many types of jobs for the sheer experience. A couple relationships have come and gone, leaving her to grow at her own pace, now.
This Fall Semester she plans on picking up the beginnings of Japanese to add to her repertoire of languages spoken, on top of maintaining her Latin classes.
