Delilah and Tengu would be approaching the already established Hermosa territory on dirt bikes leading a van. It was Sergei driving, with Nigel in shotgun, the back loaded full of goods.
Hermosa had been neglected far too long. The paltry force that was here would barely be holding together, without a real base of operations. It was time to set up shop.

And Marcus Agreed! Trailing behind The First on Lady, Marcus road along towards a nice new project. He desperately needed a new one considering Anaheim ran like clockwork under his care.
Well, at least an old worn out patched together clockwork.
Bringing up the rear was a white Econoline Van driven by Bucket with Silent in the passenger seat staring glumly out the window as they transported the cargo of Medical Supplies, food, handmade clothes and blankets.
"Look like we here." The big Trinni said, Drawing the little platinum blondes attention as she began to sign. <Looks like a dump.> "Wouldn' need us if it wouldn'. Beats a'wanderin roun' eyein Anaheim anyway." <Whatever.>
Bucket watched as the Big wolfman Pulled Lady out from behind the First and sped up to go alongside her before catching her attention and pointing out a good parking spot on an empty lot in the heart of Hermosa.
"Looks like Bossman found a spot." <Right. Lets get this over and done with.>
Bucket Parked the Van beside Lady as Marcus dismounted and began his ritual of Stowing his Skullcap and goggles away before pulling his Flat cap over his head.
It was time to get to work!

As soon as Delilah and Marcus reached the heart of Hermosa and disembarked from their respective vehicles, they would be greeted by the sight of this man waiting for them. He doesn't look none too happy either. "Crows... Humph. Finally remembered us didja? Took your sweet time too."The man would grumble, before turning around and stomping off, as nearby, they would see a guy watch the man stomp off before turning to the First Crow and Grim and company, giving them an apologetic look as he came over. "Sorry 'bout that First Crow, Grim. Please forgive mah pop, he's not exactly the nicest person in the world, 'specially when he's been runnin' and defendin' the whole area by himself, with some help from mahself and his buddies. Oh dang it, I didn't introduce mahself did I? Name's Shane Miller. Glad tah see y'all here."

The Tengu and the First pulled into the parking lot along side Wolfpack, dismounting their bikes. Delilah waited for Marcus to finish readying himself before she jerked her head in the direction she would be heading. A couple of dropped signals behind her indicated that Tengu should start unloading the supplies they brought with them.
And just as they started in that direction, a grizzled old man approached them.
"Crows... Humph. Finally remembered us didja? Took your sweet time too."
And then he whipped around and left. Delilah scowled after him, but said nothing.
A moment later, a younger man approached them.
Delilah's eyes narrowed again at that, but in confusion this time.
"Well. We're here to make that right. It's nice to meet you, Brother Miller.
"...I have a question, though. We already had Crow soldiers stationed here. They've been reporting in regularly. How is it your father is running the territory and not the Crows?"
...Unless he was a Crow. But he certainly wasn't an officer or some such thing; she didn't recognize him at any rate.
What happened here?

Thread Theme(For me at least)"Pack her out." Marcus would bark to his own companions before following after the First, keeping a pace behind her and to her right side, wondering when the welcoming Committee planned on meeting with them. Or wait....There they were now! "Crows... Humph. Finally remembered us didja? Took your sweet time too." Marcus' nostrils flared in irritation at the mans brusque manner but at least he wasn't pelting them with rotten fruit or trying to run them out of town with a big mob at his back. Besides, the man's ire was most likely justified in this case. When you leave a city alone too long it pays to be alittle humble when you pop your head in to say hello. Not TOO humble mind you. "Cheery little bugger. I think I like him" Marcus muttered with an ironic smirk behind Delilah, Hoping to soften the frown that had taken up residence on her face. No sooner had the man went out of sight, another younger gentleman came into view and made a B line towards them. Glad tah see y'all here." A Local militia then. But where were the Stationed Crow soldiers? While Delilah conversed with the man, Marcus would raise his head and quietly smell the air, letting all his senses flow around him as he attempted to get a 'feel' for the area, Using instincts honed from years of Traveling abroad alone. In those situations it was always best to know what you were getting yourself into when going somewhere new. If there was something wrong, the animal brain in his head would know.

Marcus would get the feeling of skepticism and slight frustration that Shane's father had given their entourage upon arrival from the majority of the area, while the minority felt like Shane did, gladness to see them.
"The Crows are still in charge here ma'am, but recently they ran into a bit 'o trouble with some of the folks here. Most ain't too happy that the Crow presence was so miniscule, they stomped over and began yellin' and screamin' at them, even knocked out a few of 'em. It was my pop that got 'em to settle down and disperse, and tended to their injuries. He's been looking after the area as the Sheriff until those that were hurt have recovered enough to physically work again. He's good man ma'am, he's just been a lil o' frustrated that he's had to put out all these fires, y'know?"

Delilah nodded. Made sense. Crows should have been more attentive to their more distant territories.
"What are the main concerns of the area right now? What isn't getting done that needs to get better?"

While Delilah handled the Diplomacy, Marcus would do what a Grim should do and watch her back, rotating his shoulders and easing the tension caused by all this negative vibes directed at them.
He would remain ever alert. Ever Vigil.

"Well I reckon the biggest concern is defenses ma'am. They need some fortifyin' badly. We've done what we can to improve 'em, but we just didn't have enough materials for it. We tried headin' to the nearby scrap metal yard outside of Hermosa, but it's been taken over by some two-bit punk gang. Couldn't afford to leave the area defenseless, so we never tried."As Marcus continues to remain ever vigilant, among all the negativity, he feels a small sense of curiosity, followed by a small tug at his pant leg. If he looked down, he would see a little kid looking up at him. "Mister Crow, are you really called Grim Mar... Mar... Marucs Pra Sad? You don't look grim to me."

A small smile crossed Delilah's face.
"A few months back, a few of us attacked a similar junkyard and made off with the spoils. If what we've brought isn't enough for defense, we will see to the one nearby.
"Where is the current base of operations?"

The little boy would be favored with a warm smile as Marcus went down on one knee and ruffled the childs hair with a giant paw.
"Heh. Scary title isn't it? Y'see I save my Grim face for when I have to protect people like you little one from people like mean ol' Mr. Barker and his silly goof troop."
Suddenly a thought struck Marcus. He found himself thinking of the small bag of baby tomatoes he put in Lady's saddlebag this morning for travel rations. "What's your name little guy?"

"Well I'll be... You really are somethin', First Crow. I reckon that'll make some o' folks here mighty happy."
Tipping his cowboy hat up to scratch his head, it was blatantly obvious that Shane was much more pleased and grateful than most of the citizens living here.
"The Crows detachment is currently operating from our firehouse. They would've taken the lighthouse, but while it would be an excellent vantage point, it'd be terrible if evacuation was necessary. The firehouse was the second best option, the tower built into it is a good vantage point, and the fire poles built in give easy escape access. Right this way First Crow Black, Grim Prasad."
The little boy laughing as his hair was ruffled, he'd look up at Marcus as he'd pretend to try and wrestle the giant man's paw-like hand off his head.
"Nuh uh! I don't think it's scary! I think it's cool! When I grow up, I wanna have a cool title like you Mister! And my name is Conner! That's my big brother over there! He's the, uh... Depu Tea Share If, but I think he's a Crow too!"
"Conner! Let's go lil' bro!"
"'Kay Shane! Let's go Mister, my brother is gonna show you where the base is!"
Grabbing Marcus' bear paw hand, for a little kid, Conner had a strong grip, and would tug the Grim along as he followed after Shane.

Delilah inclined her head in appreciation of his words, "I certainly hope we can improve public opinion around here."
As Shane and Connor began leading them towards the Hermosa HQ, Delilah turned to beckon to the Tengu behind her. They trooped behind the Grim and First, supplies in tow.

"Actually That's going to change." His voice was sudden and quiet as if he was speaking to himself. Which he kinda was. Hearing about the Lighthouse had immediately set gears rolling in Marcus' head.
"The Lighthouse. I want it manned. A Crew of five would be the optimal amount. And the Docks.....Is the Lighthouse operational? The Marina will need repair of course. Most of the rotten logs broken down. Downsizing, yes. Use whatever can be salvage to fix..."
Realizing he was speaking his thoughts out loud, Marcus stopped, Wide eyed at both Delilah and Shane. "Oh Shit sorry, Uuuh, lemme explain." Clearing his throat, Marcus continued. "You see, that Lighthouse and the Marina are soon going to be experiencing some traffic in the next...." Pulling out his Black book, thumbing through it until he found his notes, Marcus quickly did some math before closing with an audible clap. He had a smile on his face and a telltale twinkle in his eye that showed he was building up steam. "Hmmm, Less than a year for at least one vessel if we rely on salvaging wrecks. Building a boat from scratch, now that takes far longer than is feasible. But soon, yes soon my friend! You shall have Boats off the coast running Crow colors and transporting Manpower, Supplies, whatever you need."
""That's where the lighthouse and Marina come in of course. That's most definitely on the list of things we hope to improve before the first Vessel sets sail."
Wanting to get started right away, Marcus dipped down to Connor and scooped the little lad up and pushed him up until he was sitting on his shoulder, A large forearm draped across Connors lap holding him in place as the man set off at a hurried pace. The Wolfpack Carrying their share and walking alongside their Tengu brethren. "Periscope UP! Alright guys we got work to do! TALLY HO!"
