{OOC: Eve I only made this one long because it was the opening post. Feel free to not match length!~ Heh...}
Lucien was still recovering from his fight with David, and to him, even this short amount of time was much too long. He was getting restless. His face was still bruised but the wounds had closed, and his right eye was usable, though his nose looked like it would never be straight again. The rest of the bandages - the ones covering his midsection, the ones on his shoulder and hands - were still on, to protect the healing bones and cartilage.
The slim man sighed. He needed a walk.
Slowly and carefully exiting the medical-looking bed that had been wheeled into Lightning Tower, he tested his steps before deciding that he was well enough to walk without much pain, as long as he was careful.
The moon was high and bright in the sky above Long Beach, shining down plentiful light on the area. It would be a nice night to go for a walk, after all. A large bottle of water by his side, he started to make a path around the territory, starting in the South.
It wasn't long until he reached the border that connected to Anaheim. The Neutral Territory border was in the distance, creating a nice view of the area.
"Nice to see you, Anaheim. It feels like it's been a while." Lucien sighed.

Reira had disappeared shortly after being attacked in the Shugo Manor. She had spent most of the time wandering on her own once again and continued to do so as she felt no need to join or be a part of the different factions. Heck, she isn't even exactly aware of the current state of affairs with regards to them.
Currently, she is found wandering close to 'Dragon Territory' with a hooded jacket and small backpack hoping to find some place to stay.
With hopes of staying out of sight, and out of claimed territory, she straddled the border and continued to wander while humming a soft tune to keep her spirits up.
I'm walking on sunshine...

Lucien was entranced by the environment, occasionally letting out a long sigh as he looked over the landscape with a look of approval. Things were starting to shape up, indeed.
Then, he spotted a figure, a short distance away. The form looked slim, and the way that the figure walked seemed like they had been traveling a fair distance. They were also trying to stay in the shadows, which made Lucien curious. As well as somewhat suspicious.
As he looked on at the figure, he felt a slight familiarity in the form. With this, Lucien felt compelled to approach.
"Hello," He called.

Reira, although alert, wasn't exactly aware of her surroundings as she assumed staying in the shadows was good enough to shroud her presence.
Upon hearing a greeting, she immediately jumps and whirls her body around to face the individual with wide green eyes - ready to defend herself if necessary.
With Lucien's injuries, Reira just squints and struggles momentarily to recall the familiar face.
"...hello to you too?"
She blinks, while memories of warm tea and thunder floated to the forefront of her mind.

The figure turned to face Lucien, and he stared. Of all the people to find...
"...Reira?" He asked, slightly bewildered.
Memories and questions flew through his mind. Where had she gone? Where had she been all this time? Did she even remember him? It was only once that the two met, and it seemed like forever ago...

HE KNEW HER NAME!
AHHHH.
Wait-
"Lucien...?" she blinks several times more before her body relaxes upon recognizing the familiar male. "Lucien!"
Reira bounces a few quick steps towards her friend but upon seeing the bandages and the bruises she stops. Immediately worried she circles around him and pulls at his clothes to take a better look; obviously still very unaware of personal boundaries.
"Are you alright?"

Well, at least she recognized him.
"Ah! Reira.. Be careful of the ribs..." He winced, trying to make sure that she didn't tug too hard on his bandages. Even though a part of Lucien's mind knew that this girl was too close (WAY TOO CLOSE) to him, a part of him was alright with it. Maybe it was that comfortability with the people he'd met.
"I'm okay. Just, healing up. How are you? You look well" He said, looking the girl over.

Reira heeded his concerns and was gentle in probing the injuries before stoping after gauging the extent of them.
"What happened to you...? You should be resting! You shouldn't be out here."
The young woman pulls her hood down and her dark tresses falls to her shoulders, while she looked back at him with concern. He was one of the only people she met and was close to after the Barker incident, so seeing him in that state when he promised that he'd be okay was a little unnerving.

Lucien smiled halfheartedly. For some reason, it was nice to see that someone was concerned about him.
"I've been resting up for days, now. I just wanted to stretch my legs." He replied, making sure she was uninjured as she pulled down the hood.
He blinked, then. So much had happened...
"I'm not that far from home, I swear." He said as he pointed behind him, to the Lightning Tower. "I'm staying there, for the time being. Do you have a place to stay...?"

Reira looked fine, although, albeit more fatigued and weary than the last time he saw her.
She was mostly content with his response and decides to leave him be from her nagging spells. Her eyes wander to the tower he points to and for a moment, she was confused. Although she didn't know too much about the factions, she recalled him being a 'Crow' and not a 'Dragon'. Before she could ask her attention was brought back to her current state of homelessness.
"I...don't. Not yet. Kind of been adopting the traveller lifestyle after I left Shugo." she smiles albeit awkwardly, recalling the random attack.

Lucien frowned. He hadn't made that connection until now, but... It made sense. Reira leaving suddenly, as if she vanished off the face of the earth... Shugo turning up days later with injuries comparable to Lucien's at present...
So that's what happened.
He tried to brush it out of his mind, he would blame himself for his naivety later. Now, his friend was in need of a place to stay, and he seemed to have inherited a giant tower.
"Well, you can stay with me tonight, if you want. We can catch up, talk about what's happened..." He turned to her with a quizzical look. "This all feels very familiar..." He chuckled, recalling the first time they met.

Reira's unnerved smile turned into a warm one with his offer. She did not want to intrude, but it was a great opportunity to catch up with an old friend and make sure he was truly alright. The young woman accepts the offer with a nod and follows along before pausing momentarily at his remark.
"Always offering me shelter now, aren't you?" she sticks her tongue out at him in jest. "But I'm thankful Lucien, really."

Lucien chuckled as he started to walk. All this smiling was making his jaw sore...
"You're welcome, Reira."
They would make their way to the tower, and when they got close enough, Lucien would nod at the two guards that were stationed outside the front gate. They would let Lucien and Reira through, and Lucien would then lead her to the main tower.
Inside the personal quarters, a large chair, a wheeled bed, a table, some smaller chairs, along with other amenities could be seen. A kitchen and small panty was in the corner, and doors led to other rooms. Beside the wheeled bed was a large pile of bandages saturated in blood, both fresh and dried.
"Well, this is it. Welcome." He said, as he walked over to the table and slowly lowered himself into one of the chairs. Slowly, carefully...

Unaccustomed to such 'high security' and other individuals Reira follows Lucien rather closely, never once leaving the shadow of his form. She may be a little more mousey than usual due travelling alone for such a long time. However, she relaxes once she reaches his quarters and her eyes would settle on the bandages before anything else.
"Thank you." she bows slightly at the waist before entering.
Reira would tear her eyes from the bloody mess and turn towards Lucien. "Is there...is there anything I can help you with?" she offers.

Lucien would relax as he sat down on the chair, smiling to his guest. Honestly, he was kind of tired of being waited on. He just wanted to be healed so he could do things for himself again. He appreciated the sentiment, though.
"I'm okay, thank you for the offer. But, you're my guest, after all. Can I get you anything? Are you hungry at all?" He asked, his smile turning to a look of concern. Traveling and homeless usually meant without much to eat, after all...
