"I take it that you are volunteering to be my second. Or am I yours?"
He asked with a wry smile. Freshly back from the dead and there was still just so much work to do. Apparently even death wasn't enough to allow Mathew some time to rest. Once Barker was surrounded he would lead the way to where the council would be meeting. This was going to be fun.

Hades would give one quick chuckle.
"I'm pretty sure at this point I'm your second."
And off to the councel, which had gathered quickly... Simply because of the prospects. Never had Hades called a meeting, and never claiming importance of this magnitude.

Mathew would lead Hades and the Reapers onto the summit with Barker being brought in as a prisoner. He gave the assembled members a bow before straightening and giving the people gathered and appraising look to gauge their reactions to the guest and the meeting as a whole.
"Hail be to the rulers of the Heavens and the Earth."
He said in formal greeting waiting for everything to be ready to start. It was his first small meeting between all of the factions. So he was unsure on how this was going to go.

Zeus had brought Poseidon, Ra had Anubis, Odin had brought Thor, Pegasus had brought Kraken, and all where attentive and silent at seeing Barker, being walked in with Reapers, Hades, and Ares. All returned the greeting with a nod, exchanged glances, until finally Odin spoke first.
"The rumors... News we heard of things that happened and of what will come... Please, shine some light on this."

Mathew stepped forward to speak since what was going on had been asked.
"Sean Barker has saved my life and aided me in returning Lord Hades back from the dead. He was killed by our enemy John Strike. John Strike is now posed to return the world back to it's prewar state and to assume control of everything while enlisting supporters from the general populous to protect this 'new - old world."
He said with a frown.
"Such an announcement would be public and we would all be labeled as traitors and threats to this new order. We would be painted as people willing to plunge the world back into the dark times we now live on for our own selfish desires. Meanwhile Strike has an endless supply of people lining up to be tested on and help him achieve whatever twisted goals the man has."
He took a breath.
"Make no mistake, the man does not have noble intentions with this. It is only a way to harvest useful tools to meet his end. And it could happen any day. Any hour. Any moment. We are waiting on his whim."

There was a hush for a few moments before each turned to their second and discussed in silence before one by one they turned back around looking about Zeus spoke.
"What do you suggest?"

"I suggest that the Dragons and the God's unite together as one. From there with our united strength we can try to unite the other factions as well under our banner."
He took another step forward.
"I had discussed it with David Blaze of the Dragons and he was already open to the idea granting the God's places of honor. Giving you the power to rebuild and educate our people. If his plan is to bring back the world that was, our plan can not be to kill everyone that opposes us. If he wishes to paint us as chaotic rabble rousers then we combat that with peaceful actions. Education.
He wishes to wage a war for the hearts and minds of the people to obtain his goals. If we are divided it is easier to paint us as a group of multiple factions fighting among each other squabbling for control and power. I do not know about everyone else, but I for one do not intend to rule over the world until the day I die. I intend to forge a better world."

They all shifted uncomfortably, but none saw a different solution.
"We must take a recess and discuss it with everyone. We will meet back here in three hours."
And with that the many seconds would go about the territory getting opinions, talks, information, discussions from every true member of the gods. Every named god. Until the counsel reconvened.
"We have discussed and decided... This may be the only way." Spoke Ra.

Mathew spent the next three hours talking with Barker and Hades about Strike and what his plans may entail as well as his possible end game. How they could ensure that should what Barker fears will happen does happen that they do not get totally fucked. And he questioned Hades about his thoughts on the merger. If he believed it to be the right path as well or if he was following Mathew out of loyalty for the deed he had done.
When they all returned Mathew bowed once more to Ra. And listened as he spoke. Doing his best to keep his face neutral to mask his delight. For once it may seem that people are listening to him without bitching and dragging their feet about it. It was... refreshing.
"As you say Lord Ra. I feel it is the best way to ensure the betterment of our people without them falling into the clutches of a mad man."

Barker would suggest doing something similar, just pooling every possible recourse after this to bring normalcy and as much land expansion as possible before anything goes down. Hades had the same opinion after learning everything about Strike/Barker's plans.
"We will need to gather the Dragons together and make official arrangements. Can we entrust this task to you? Earth Dragon, Ares?" Pegasus would speak.

He said with a bow. Was it really happening? Could the merger be going on now? He knew David supported it? Would Leon? He could sell Leon on it maybe. But how much time would it take? How much time did they have?

Once more Mathew bowed before the God's and would leave to fetch the Dragon Elders. He would need to bring both David and Leon. Because while Leon did not give up the Elder title along with the named title. Both Dragons would be allowed to bring a second to the meeting, as was the custom of the Gods.
OOC: David and Leon may now post here and bring a single NPC to serve as their second for this meeting.

Leon would show up with Yun simply for note keeping purposes and to stay in the know. He'd hang out with Mathew to find out what everything was about as he was usually out of the loop until there was a battle.

OOC: my last final is today, at 12pm pacific time. I will post here now, once, but please wait for for meh to return before continuing! I should be online around 4-5pm for a good several hours.
David arrived, August in toe. He wore his Elder outfit, marching through the Dias and in towards where Mathew and Leon were. Unification. He and Mathew had discussed this at some length- to the point he couldnt remember who first brought it up. Nor did he give a damn. A short version was explained to him, and Mathew was getting it done.
It was good to have the Earth Dragon back. Still- they would need to talk about Barker, as the man was seated by Mathew. Not surprising to him- when Mathew carried him north, he suspected there would be some work involved to bring him back. He would cock and eyebrow at Mathew that said "we are gonna have a long chat after this" but then nodded. He'd stand or sit next to the other two Elders until the proceedings and discussion began in earnest.
