"Thanks, I'll smooth it out before I leave."
He said giving Hades a thumbs up. Walking forward and scooping up some stone from the cavern wall. Pressing his hand over the hole to smooth it out. Turning around he would walk backward as he took a bite out of the stone.
"Take care of yourself man. Let me know about the soul stuff."
He said with a wave as he exited. He thought that was most of what he had to do in God territory. Though he still needed to deal with Barker. Which meant he needed to head home and talk to him about a few things.

Mathew can feel a bit of a different kind of energy, the taste was salty, but the feeling came right from his core and seemed to run out like a cold shiver. If he looked at himself he would notice a change.
He would note the change was internal and cold. But he suddenly was very hungry for metal.

His stomach rumbled a bit after that. And he had the urge to eat metal. Like right now. His pace quickened as he made his way outside. He was going to need to do a detour before he went home. He was just starving. Once he was outside he would sink back into the Earth and look for metal ore.
Looking for whatever he could until he surfaced once more with a huge hunk of raw metal ore. Looking at it with a hungry gaze as he salivated he would bite into it without hesitation. Devouring it as quickly as he could to sate his hunger.

It would seem Mathews teeth would grow and sharpen to devour the metal quicker on instinct and Mathews will power. If he cared to look he would also notice several spines and spikes of bone extending from his flesh in multiple locations.

He didn't notice the teeth thing at first. But he did see the spines and spikes of bones out of his arms he stopped and looked over himself and the spines lining his arms. His brows furrowed as he touched it with his stone arm. Not even wincing. It didn't hurt. Nothing was broken, and there was no blood. It was like it grew out of his skin....
"Well that's creepy and gross."
He kind of wanted the bones to go away. And they did. Seemingly sucked back into his skin. Really fucking creepy...
"Right... I am guessing that's what Shion meant by mutation..."
He was gonna have to ask him about that sometime. But first he still wanted to talk to Sean.

Entering the door he stopped and inhaled deeply. Fuck that smelled good, he kind of regretted eating now. Why was everyone so good at cooking and making amazing dishes!? He didn't know how he wasn't fat.

Sean would wave a gloved hand over the dish and go in for a closer smell before putting it on the counter and covering it for dinner. He'd put the glove and apron on a chair and head out to see Mathew.
"Before you start I would like to take this opportunity to go to my room and think about what I have done."
Barker would joke at the situation.

Mathew snorted as he took a spot against the wall waiting for Barker to finish up and wrap up the food. He'd be eating that shit later. And eagerly.
"You're not in trouble, don't worry."
He just needed to know where Barker stood, and he thought he might want to get out of the house for a few minutes at least. Zeus knows it must suck being cooped up all day in here. But it was better than death.
