Mathew was dressed in just the trappings of his station inside of the God's. Leaving behind the vestments of the Earth Dragon at home he was here as Ares the God of War. The Chosen Pharaoh of Ra. Jarl Amtrum, vanquisher of the Dragon Slayer.
Clad in his Armor of Ares. Even wearing the helmet, which was not usual for him. He had the scepter of Ra on his hip, and the Ring of Tyr on his hand opposite of his wedding band. He was dealing with Titans and Gods. He needed to send an image of who he was and why they should assist him. He was one of them, not an outsider who wormed into their graces. He earned his place here long before his jaunt to the Underworld.
Deep in the territory ruled by the Greeks there was a large hill with a hand atop it. Large enough to stand in and made of obsidian with only three fingers remaining. The index finger, ring finger, and pinky finger. Making his way up the hill to the hand Mathew would drop to a knee.
"I come seeking the counsel of the Fates."
He decreed.

"There is much I desire to know on my quest for knowledge. But I temper my desires to know the future with the caution of knowing ones fate. What I seek is a glimpse of my present from the wide perspective that only you can offer."
He said slowly raising back to his feet.
"I also wish to know about Themis."

The sisters would look between each other. Clotho would pull out a pure white purl that had a black purl embedded making the appearance of an eye, though the size was much more like a baseball. Looking into the eye, Clotho would begin to speak.
"Enemies betray their title. Unknowns becoming rulers, and the fate of thousands of years repeating itself in slow motion. Your enemies are rallying, so many being handed the dreams they have wished for. They will not take your side. An assassin, represented by love, can no longer hide. A friend seeking new power, may be lost. A rival, losing faith, may grow bitter, and be a threat. A future however, certain, the bloodline of war, will continue in a world filled with peace... For a time."
She'd break 'eye contact' and the three would look amongst each other again, until finally Atropos spoke.
"What do you wish to know about Mother?"

It was too much to hope for a straight answer he supposed. Some of the information given made sense to him already. It was good to know that his children would live. That Chaos would not fuck him. And he did not expect many people to support his cause. Not when everything they wanted was being handed to them. But an assassin, a rival losing faith and becoming a threat. A friend seeking new power possibly being lost. They were all things to think about and consider.
The last one rang of Leon to him. More than the others. Bastille resonated with the assassin. It was her trade after all. What she could no longer hide from was not revealed through... Still, one did not come to the fates without expecting to think. They had given him much to consider.
"Everything I can. And possibly where I may find her."

"We are sorry Ares... Our power over the Fates is limited to what we can see. Mother gave us the eye, it does not work on Mother... However we can tell you that Mother has married The Sun. To find her, find Father. Find The Sun."
The Fates where actually sorry they could not help further. Most of The Gods had been able to give some sort of aid to the covenant between allies, and even for an important God like The God of War. And yet the Fates could only make a suggestion.

The sun. It was familiar to him. He believed that he may have found something akin to that in his research but he would need to double check. The list of names he had taken down was quite long and he did not have it handy at the moment. But he would remember to look into it later. He bowed respectfully to The Fates before straightening. He did not begrudge them their limits.
"Is there anything else the eye shows that I should know before I depart? About my task or any other."
He would hate to have a warning unheard simply because he did not ask. And he was not sure if The Fates were free to share if they were not asked.

Atropos would walk up to Mathew and reach a hand out, looking at Mathew for permission, if given she would touch his chest and pull out a small string, glowing with a sky blue with a shadowy red smoke coming off of it.
"Your thread of life shows many fates ending on your mission... As well as your own."

Mathew nodded granting her permission. His breath catching in his chest at the feel of her actions, her words sending his skin prickling. The words of the demon echoed in his mind. Who died first, him or his enemy...
He would die.
Slowly he nodded. His death did not matter. The mission was what mattered. Every fiber in his being told him that. He was alive for this, he was the only one who could stop whatever Strike had planned.
"I have one last favor of you. Should anyone else ask about my life or how much time I have. Do not share it. I do not want them to worry or get in my way."
If he was fated to die he would just as soon die alone.

The Fates exchanged looks. This was not the first prophecy of the death of a god. This was not the first time they where asked not to share, but this was the first time someone said it with that much conviction underlying their voice.
"You have our word, Ares." Clotho would say.
Atropos would let the string go and it would vanish as it retracted.

He smiled as they accepted his request. A smile that was warm and relieved, as he was honestly both. He did not wish for Bastille to know. She would only get herself killed as well.
"Do not fret or fear my death. Rather hope my mission succeeds. All wars will come to an end, and in time my mantle will be taken up by the warrior meant to oversee my domain. If you must do anything, then let us hope my seat remains empty for many years to come."
But like all wars must one day end, so too must all times of peace. He just hoped to make it last as long as possible.
"You're words and counsel are deeply appreciated. Should you foresee a need of me do not hesitate to ask. I shall do my best to accommodate you as you have done me."
And with that he would take his leave. His next stop was the summit of Mount Olympus itself. He needed to consult Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon about finding a way to keep the Titan's in line should they opt for war. He did not know how his appearance would go over with them though. He suspected they would require him to explain.

Poseidon sat on his throne surrounded by the pool of water like before. Zeus and Hades where not around. Poseidon would look to Mathew and raise a brow.
"Ares? Why come to Olympus? And where is your usual attire?"

"I come here as a God to speak of a problem of the Gods. While we are united, I thought it best to show solidarity while we discuss these issues."
He looked around.
"Where are your brothers?"

Poseidon would nod at the decision of Ares to present himself more like a god.
"Zeus should be returning from a border skirmish, and Hades is in his own domain, punishing prisoners."
Poseidon caught the hint however and would turn to his second. Sea Dragon, telling him to fetch Hades, and tell Zeus when he returned.
"They will be here momentarily. Why not sit."
Poseidon would wait for Ares to sit on his own war throne. If nothing where to be discussed Zeus and Hades would show up in turn.

"Thank you Poseidon."
He nodded at the God and took his spot on his throne. And though it might surprise many he took no interest in the throne itself, not anymore. Sure he would rather have it than not, but only because of what the throne allowed him to do. Titles and thrones were useless to him without will and authority. It was with that and only that which would allow him to make a difference.
Once the other Gods showed up Mathew would rise and allow them to sit before speaking.
"Thank you for coming so quickly. I wish to talk to you about new residents in our fair state. I wish to speak to you about the arrival of the ones who call themselves The Titans."
