That was something he didn't wish to hear. What was it? Doubt. When he makes a decision, he wanted to follow through... and although he did promote distrust and lived it himself, the wounds he carried had not yet healed. Was he desperate for someone to rely on? For someone to make his decisions, to give him comfort and- no... he could no hurt another person. There was something living inside him, something that wasn't quite... him. He wanted to purge it from himself by becoming selfless, and he needed someone who would accept that fact and make it their own. Rasha was perhaps the wrong person... but, of late, she was his only hope. She was able... she was determined. The fear... the first he had in quite a while was that she would not be able to handle him should it strike. It was like his own.... Aquaintance.
Unable to use his voice, the senior offered no verbal reply and instead closed his eyes as he maintained this close contact. Yes.

Did she just let that question slip out? Yes indeed she did. Her own trust issues emerging slightly on that one. Well.. actually could she trust him? It's not like she didn't want to, it's just that small part of her that held distrust. Thinking about it, she had realized that they had some similarties, probably more than she thought. She had to give him a chance at least, given the situation at hand. Hearing no response from him, she embraced his lips once again. Gently kissing him, before breaking it for a moment with a simple word escaping her lips. A word that is highly doubtful that she has used before. Truly she wasn't herself tonight.... and if that's the case then who was she tonight?.. Odd question. Makes it sound like she has a spilt personality. Her voice once again was soft as she looked at him.
"..I'm sorry.."

"It's nothing."
True, it did hurt. But for a person like Karel, some suffering was fine and... well, if he was to become someone's lover than he could care less what they did to him. That's just who he was... to follow orders without hesitation, accept criticism with no reprisal and to devote every inch of his body to achieve the goals of the one that had brought him in.... he had become her puppet, more so than many would of ever thought.
Squatting down next to her seat, his head now level with hers... in the end, weren't they both still hungry?

"It's nothing."
Nothing.. Hmm, truly it was something but she wasn't gonna press it. But as far as the whole following orders thing - for her those days were partically over. She wasn't planning on taking orders from anyone again. She wasn't gonna let anyone control her again. Once was enough for her. But that was the past, then again her past wasn't done just yet - it was still lurking in the shadows waiting to spring out. She followed him with her head and eyes as he squatted down next to her. Thinking about it herself, she was wondering where that waiter was - at least she could've had her drink. And just as that thought popped in mind out came the waiter with her food and drink. He apologized over and over and stated how busy it was inside. I smiply nodded to him, gesturing that it was alright. Hell at least the food was still hot. I looked to Karel placing a small smile on my face as I softly spoke.
".. I believe you need to order something, don't you?"

He had a better idea. Eat her food. What? It was always good to share!
"Just a vanilla coke, thanks."
He looked back to Rasha as he his gave hint to his plan. Now hopefully she wouldn't be so greedy as to want it all to herself and leave him high and dry... but, if that were the case, then he'd be glad he ordered a vanilla coke.

Eat my food huh... cute...
She looked back at him after hearing him just order a drink and playfully frowned. She didn't mind sharing, there was a lot of fries on the plate- BUT the cheeseburger. Let's pause on that one, half of a cheeseburger is not gonna cut it. Why not just order another cheeseburger at least, after all they were both hungry right? What's half gonna do? Since he was crouching down in front of her, she leaned in a bit and placed a peck on his lips before leaning back up - placing a small smile on her face and speaking to the waiter.
".. Matter fact put another cheeseburger on that order, thank you.."
The waiter bowed and went back inside. My eyes were still on Karel as I spoke again.
".. I don't mind sharing an all, but you and I both know half a burger isn't going to do anything for us..."
She paused for a moment and smiled again, before parting her lips once more. Her tone playful.
"...Well... you gonna stay crouched like that or you gonna take a seat... Cause truly you look like a little puppy wanting me to feed you..."

In a way, a little puppy pretty much could describe Karel right now. Save the fact that he had fangs with canines the largest of carnivores would cry about, and the intelligence and craft to wive a web even the most creative of spiders would only dream of. With the way in which she spoke, he got the hint and pulled the seat he had previously sat in closer. On edge, the paranoia heightened due to his recent emotional vulnerability - it was hard for him to grasp all this at once. Although they did have their similarities... the amount of people who wanted Karel dead wasn't funny. But, Rasha didn't know that... and Karel would never tell her unless she asked. But that was getting in and over his head. Old habits die hard. He wasn't exactly use to being this close - charming when he needs to be, getting someone in bed was his game, but sticking around was something he had only ever done once before. If she could accept him, than he would give her everything in return. The amount of money his head was worth was more than one could ever want, and if she so much as desired, she could easily cash it in.
On the subject of food... well, Karel could last days on end without eating. There were many ways he knew how to survive - of course, it wouldn't be comfortable, but that was just how it is. The point was that he didn't mind eating nothing... a drink would do. The caffeine in the upcoming drink would no doubt let him carry on for the rest of the night. He hoped.
"...sorry."

Sorry?..for what?...
Those hazel orbs blinked twice in a small confused daze for a moment, before she lightly shook it off and placed a smile back on her face. She had been smiling most frequently as of late. Maybe it was this newfound freedom - wait freedom? Ha! Right freedom. She doesn't know the true meaning of the word 'freedom' just yet. She wouldn't have to keep moving and hiding, and looking over her shoulder if she was truly free. No, Rasha was far from 'freedom' right now. So what could be causing her to smile so much? It's not like she didn't before, she was always quite playful; but then again around a 'stranger' she didn't smile this much unless she was plotting something in her mind. Meh, maybe there was just something - somewhat relaxing and comfortable about him, maybe who knows. The stars danced aboved their heads as they sat there awaiting their food, and possibly for the other to speak. Well someone has to break this silence eventually, so why not give it a shot? Eyes still upon him, she shook her head and spoke.
"...No need to be...Well, have you been able to sleep well?.. Yahiko and his puppy haven't disturbed you have they?"

You know, had he been the type to complain he might of - but, when in the company of those who are somewhat dangerous it was definitely a better idea to smile and nod. But again. Whiny types? Karel hated them - and he was certainly no hypocryte when it came to this sort of thing.
"It's fine."
See? No complaints! .... but not being very social either. Chances were that Karel would most likely make more silent moments - awkward ones, too.... ahhhh....

"That's good."
It was highly doubtable that Yahiko and Spot would bother Karel. They probably would most likely stay away from him, for they probably wouldn't trust him - especially Spot. Spot... geez the names people give their animals these days. But hey she wasn't gonna complain about it, for it wasn't her dog. Her eyes trailed away for a moment, it was clearly obivious that this was probably gonna be a silent night indeed. He wasn't being too sociable... and she.. well she was just in her own little place. Her mind was nowhere in particular, just wondering about aimlessly. She looked across the street, her hazel orbs scanning clamly. A rather older male, probably no more than about in his 30's crossed her vision. At first she paided no mind but then she did a double take, her eyes slightly widened for a moment - her body slightly tensed.
Jallak?!
Yes... the male had look a tad bit like Jallak. Who was he? Well the leader of the group she formerly belonged too before abanding and going into hiding. She took a better look and realized it wasn't him and relaxed her eyes and body - taking a deep breath.
I hate this..
Still with her eyes closed she just simply pick up her cup and took a sip of her drink.
I hope they aren't here... not yet at least.. They do have a tendsy of having clones roaming about to fool their enemies... I hope that wasn't one... I mean it did look like him, but only a little at a quick glance...Just please not yet..

Karel being the A-grade ... well, shady person he was could practically smell the stench of her uneasiness. Although he didn't turn his head, his eyes looked to her from the corner of his face. For a while he didn't say anything... because in a situation where one had to be worried, you should never create an unnecessary rush of questions. But if she didn't want to tell him, that was fine. He would perhaps learn about her life the hard way... like he ever took the easy way. Hell.
"...you alright?"
He turned his head - slowly. So as not to spook her or something...
Hey, where's that food?

She really needed to truly relax and unwind herself, TRULY unwind herself. The food hadn't arri... oh look there it is. The waiter once again rushed over placed the plates down, bowed and went on his business. Busy bee that one. She heard Karel's question but hadn't answered it just yet. Placing her cup back down with the slightest bit of sound, she finally opened her eyes and slowly turned to him. A small smile crossing her lips.
"I'm fine truly... nothing to be alarmed about.."
She picked up three fries together and held it out to him, with a smile. After he would take it, she would speak again.
"Hey... what do you say after this we get out of here?.. Just go somewhere.."

If she said she was fine, then it also meant he had to believe her. Even if she was lying. No matter what would happen, he could suffer from her actions, but all that wasn't something to be worried about - at least not yet. Taking her offering he chewed it - bit of salt but not too much... not bad, actually. Although he didn't mind going anywhere... it was just that he hadn't been in town for too long to know the back alleys of places of interest they could ever go.
"If you're up to it."
He picked up his drink and tok a small sip, then proceeded to take a bite of his burger. And what do you know, she was right - it was too small to fill both of them.
"Did you have any place in mind?"

She smiled and nodded to his first response. Before taking another sip of her own drink and taking a bite out of her burger as well. Of course she was right. They don't make huge hamburgers cheap. If you want a big one, you gotta go to a little place in New York; grant you you'll be paying a pretty penny for it. Now for his question, did she have any place in mind? Well kinda sort of. Then a place struck her, owned by a friend of hers out her.
"Well... would you be up to going to a club?.. I know a place out her called "The Wire". A friend of mines owns the place... You up for it?"
She gave a rather devilsh smirk as she took another sip of her drink.

Karel took another huge chunk outta' his 'burger. He might of eaten a mean hamburger or two, but such a past was something he wasn't really interested in remembering. Although, a third bite and he had taken on more than half of it already - with a side sip of his chips, he was somewhat polite (for lack of better terms) about how he ate, and soon wiped off his mouth with a napkin. Leaning into Rasha as he whispered something softly into her ears. She wanted to play? Oh, he could play alright.
"You wouldn't know what to do even if I did say yes."
He leaned back into his chair as he offered her a small grin.
"Need I say?"
