EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me *Riiiiiing* Violet would spring to the noise in fact she did that fairly regularly now a days. She was beginning to fall in love with the idea of school, not at all like her peers who dreaded the days of being locked up in the mucky school but to her it was a much needed escape from what she'd been used to. Many saw four walls, what she saw was many doors, each student was their own doorway with stories and pasts all more diverse than the next. She greeted this with a great deal of excitement if it meant she could help them out with their goals as much as she took to hers. Anyway Violet dressed for the job she was given; as a pillar she'd gotten a good handful of advice, she had to be tough and ready to fight at a moments notice, she needed to be a flawless center of attention something for people to aspire to, and most important to her was functional a willing member to help out her peers. Violet would slap on some jeans for the occasion, an orange blouse that clashed to a degree with her hair but that was the goal for today, to stand out against the crowd of blacks and grays. Skipping down the hall of her house she'd bounce out the door to greet the day. At the corner she'd meet one of her neighbors, Liz. She was a quiet gal always looking down at the floor whenever she was addressed but she was kind. One of Violet's personal projects she'd take the girl under her wing short of peer pressuring the girl to walk to school with her every day and soon enough spend nearly every waking moment with. "HEY!"Violet would beam turning her candid walk into a springing sprint towards the girl who stood and entire meter short of her. Liz was small, lithe, and somewhat creepily smooth in how she moved. Standing at Four foot ten she narrowly had Richard beat in the height game but she was eagerly miles ahead of him in speed. Quickly sidestepping Violet the girl would trip her up causing Violet to eat it in her sad attempt to hug her. "Good Morning Violet..." She'd respond with a bored tone pulling free from her breast pocket a snack stick chewing it with the same eager passion that Violet had for food. "Why you no accept my love?!" Violet would push up from her spot on the floor and stammer to her full height conceding on the front of getting any sort of affection from the detached girl. The pair would move on their way to school with idle conversation mostly in Violet's favor seeing as Liz was content in being a board to have ideas thrown at though she did see fit to share her snacks which Vi would consider a win in the end. At the front gates however was when it all changed. Woosh. Vi would spring behind the infinity shorter girl failing horribly to hid as he eyes bore into the back of Kyle's skull. It wasn't that she hated him she just was off her game around him, their last conversation had left her a little bit unsettled, normally she got around just fine with anyone but him it seemed really strange. "What are you doing?" Liz would mention with a bored complexion not bothering to follow her train of sight. "N-n-nothing just fly casual." A bored look back upwards to her friend as she took things quite literally and continues walking forward her arms outstretched like a bird drawing more attention than what was to be expected. Moments later the pair would find themselves in class, posting out in the back row for today... only because he was here too. Violet's eyes bore once again at the back of his head. He'll rue the day for being here too. Violet plotted as she scribbled little stick figure versions of them on her paper as opposed to taking notes mostly just here swinging a stick at his kneecaps but they were of course up to interpretation as they looked a little bit like Vi had deformed arms that were giving him a massage.... Again... Lunch. Staring at the back of his head in the lunch line, she could feel her eyes bleeding with the intensity as Liz simply played along as her barrier idly chewing on another snack, the quantity seemingly endless. Once they were at their seat she'd finally speak up. "Just ask him out already... You either loathe this guy or like him and I don't think you of all people is capable of hating anyone..." She'd say it so nonchalantly returning to her snack stick not looking Vi in the eyes just staring off into the abyss. Vi on the other hand would glare at her intensely changing targets. *Riiiing* The bells for school going off finally and the pair would finally split. Although Violet really could use a friend right now as she followed Kyle out of the school gates nipping idly at his heels so much to the point that she was directly behind him literally kicking up at his heels...

As they finally reached the bus stop (the entire time, Kyle ignoring the breath of the girl on the back of his neck, choosing instead to read from the little book he held in his hand), he'd stop and move to stick the book in his pocket, the thing barely hanging inside. However, trying to step up onto the bus at the same time caused it to fall out of his pocket and land on the floor between them. It was a little book with a black cover- probably capable of being held in one of his hands. White tape was sealed to the front of it, and written in sharpie was a single word. ' Journal'. Kyle proceeded to plant himself right between the front and middle rows on the right side of the bus. The seat next to him was empty, though most of them were. Tons of students either walked home, or were picked up. But Kyle was wanting to head into town after school today to look around the city a bit. Violet had a few choices. Leave him and the book. Take the book and give it back on the bus. Take the book and give it back.....later. Or just take it. The boy, for the most part seemed oblivious.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Violet would continue following just the same as before at this point she wasn't even really sure if she was headed the right direction. At some point in her head she'd decided to find out why he was following her... Some perverted sense of how things were really happening even to the point of joining him to the bus stop. Violet would stop momentarily as he dropped what looked to be a journal. A pause in her steps thinking to herself briefly how she should handily this situation.
"A journal! Oh this must be Kyle's diary! That means this is full of all his dirty secrets." A grin splotched her face holding it desperately in her palms, fingers entwining around the spine of the book but lingering still not brace enough to pull open the covers her eyes scanning the surface like she had x-ray vision. The doors would begin to close to the bus and her window of doing the right thing was closing on her. Quickly she'd slide the book under her arm stealthily and proceed onto the bus as well in pursuit. The idle thought remained in her noggin pressing her to either give it back or break its folds and read into it but she chose the middle ground hesitant to choose either.
Violet would make it down the middle aisle trying desperately to avoid eye contact with him but mistakenly peering over at his mostly to see if he was eyeing her. If he looked her way the girl would proceed to flip her hair in such a way to 'appear' cool. Right... She'd choose the seat two behind him staring still at the notebook considering still what was the right decision here....

Kyle did notice her, his brow twitching a little. Now she was following him onto the bus? He sighed. Still, he couldn't help but notice her flipping her hair and his first thought was 'Damn, that bitch is cool...', only to get angry at himself for thinking it. Out of spite he looked away, turning his eyes back out the window.
The cover didn't have anything special on it. Just said "Kyle N." above the 'Journal' part. The bus driver, seeing no other students getting on, closed the doors and took off, heading down the main street toward the city. Kyle had been there for a while now, and had yet to venture into the downtown areas. He wanted to shop around a little, look at some more books. He supposed he didn't mind her tailing him. Some part of him actually thought it was sweet. Perhaps she wanted to see if he was a weirdo or something. Maybe he should make a break for a sex shop, and stop before grabbing the handle and look at her. Be all like "Would you have actually followed me inside?". That would be hilarious.
He sat quietly, thinking to himself as they rode along.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Violet would keep to herself still sure to keep her eyes on Kyle in the event he left, she still wasn't sure if she wanted to give him this diary of his back yet quite certain that he deserved it after being rude the other day. Perhaps she was warranted in taking a quick little peak into how the boy thought... She'd nibble at the bottom of her lip eyeing the cover before looking up at the ceiling. With a creek she'd break the covers of the book and flip through the pages. Just the same however he eyes would still be up at the ceiling refusing to pry really.

As violet flipped through the pages, a single word would catch her eye, that was for sure. The word itself had two meanings, but to her it was obvious and could only mean one thing.
Violet.
It was in the middle of the pages, toward the end. There was still plenty of writing after it, but the vast bulk came before. He'd clearly been writing in this journal for years, and judging from the small scribbles, intermittent hearts and sometimes tear-stained pages....it held every major or minor event he felt worthy to be there. the book was probably close to five hundred thin pages, and only a couple lay blank at the end. That was something on his list- to get a new one while in town.
Kyle would stand as the bus stopped, and start heading for the door. He'd pause and turn back to look right at her, unable to see his journal being that the chairs were blocking it. He could only see the top part of her face.
"You coming?"

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Violet Her hands would stop on the page. Eyes still refusing to read much further than that just keying in on the one word. She had a page dedicated to her? Maybe? No that couldn't be, she felt her head go fuzzy until he'd turned around and stood up asking her if she was coming. Slam. The book would close shut and her features would turn a beat red having done nothing wrong in the end, never reading any more than her own name but feeling the guilt swarm around her. She couldn't very well give this back to him, at least not hand it over... she'd have to go full ninja... "What!? This isn't even my stop." Fluffing her hair she'd puff out her chest before nestling arms crossed beneath her bust and stare him down vehemently. Her head would bob over to the side street before a look of realization came to her face and her acting skills came into play. "Never mind.. I forgot I was headed here anyhow." She'd bounce to her feet quickly shuffling the book behind her back and passing Kyle up in the rows bouncing off the bus to take a look at their new found surroundings all too mindful to shuffle the book out of his line of sight.

She did indeed have a page dedicated to her. She wouldn't have to read around it- the word was alone, at the very top of the page. It was written in cursive, while the rest was written in standard. It had a very small drawing of her head, anime style, next to it with a hand that was flashing the "Peace" sign. Clearly, he was a talented artist.
He'd cock an eyebrow at her words, but would step off the bus, looking around himself without even scoping her out to see if she had it. He had no suspicions whatsoever that she possessed the book. He thought it was nestled safely in the pocket of his cargo shorts, and wouldn't be taking it back out until after dinner tonight. He took a deep breath of air and shouldered his empty backpack before turning back to her with a little smile. It was kind, the blonde trying to let her know he didn't hold any hard feelings from the other day.
"I'm gonna go book shopping...want to come?"
She'd been stalking him all day, might as well let her know he didn't care and allow her to tag along, right?

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Book shopping?
Paranoia instantly crept into her mind as she fumbled the book awkwardly still managing to maintain the integrity of the book with the position she'd achieved to block him out from seeing it. To anyone it might look very much like Violet was the sort with ants in her pants awkwardly dancing about in a cutesy manner. She'd almost certainly get a light bulb sort of thought as he'd triggered attention leaning in slowly. "Fine but don't think this makes up for you following me all day, I know what you've been up to." Trying to turn the tables even though she had no idea what she was talking about. Maybe she was fishing, after all she did have a chapter devoted to her now.

His brow creased downward into a confused scowl. While to her credit the dancing was adorable, her words confused him. Him Following her? He scoffed, and gestured at the bus.
"I'm sorry, who followed me into school, to class and back out to the bus and even to my stop, after saying she wasn't getting off there? You're the one following me around, missy!"
He chuckled and waved it off, assuming she was gonna try and interject.
"But I don't even really care. Gives me a chance to hang out with you more. C'mon."
He'd lead her up the road, away from the cross section she recognized. At the corner of the next road, a barnes and noble was situated perfectly. He would open the door and hold it there for her, his smile fading a little. He pondered to himself a while, trying to once again get a handle on the girl. He shook his head to himself.
Stop thinking so much, Kyle. Just....have a normal day. Things don't always need to be so deep.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me With a flustered expression Violet would open her mouth to try and respond albeit getting cut off as Kyle proceeded his holier than though approach to things with her in tow fuming at his response. Still on the fence about giving him his book back although still eagerly trying to slide it somehow into his back pocket she'd refrain from following through the motions of it caught aback by him opening the door for her.
"Thank you." She'd spit out with a bit of attitude proceeding forward idly waiting inside to follow him again. Damnit... she was doing it. Following him, waiting long enough for him to pass in front of her she'd make sure to take a parallel aisle as to not follow. "I'll have you know those were my classes, my route, you were just a little bit faster out the door is all, just you wait.. Tomorrow you'll be at my heels." She'd affirm matter of factly nodding her head with confidence.

"Aw, but see now that you told me I can plan for it. Gotta guard them plans, keep them close to the- OOF!"
Tripping over one of the rugs they had for you to wipe your feet on, he tripped, sending himself face forward to be planted on his stomach on the ground. If she was following him closely and trying to stick that book in his pocket, she was gonna find herself splayed in a heap as well, his book likely skittering off to the side a little bit.
He grunted, hands splayed out in front of him as he looked around at a rather large group of people standing and laughing at him.
Man, people were assholes.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Even if she was aiming to quickly deviate herself from Kyle's presence Violet would find herself catching his heel and with the same motion, the rug. Ooof. Toppling head over heels she'd have splayed the book off to the side at the feet of the crowd and feeling her head throb from what she could consider a rattling experience. Violet didn't take to crowds the same way that Kyle might, sure they were laughing but their influence hardly meant squat to the girl if anything the biggest struggle that she had to tend to was getting upright and upon her doing so she'd realize that the book had sprung free of her grip.
"Oh no..." She'd look around frenzied before catching it and trying to scurry over to grasp it still, despite it being just within reach of Kyle that was if he looked that direction.

Kyle wasn't focusing on her at all, or the book, despite her being smooshed against him.
"Yeah! Just stand and laugh, nobody help us up or anything-"
She had started crawling off him at the point, so as he sat up and plopped onto his rump, his hands splayed out to prop him up. Being that she was crawling away, his palm was firmly- albeit accidentally- planted on her butt, cupping the cheek. His eyebrows went up and he blinked. That....wasn't what the ground felt like.
He turned to look, removing his hand as he stared with wide eyes where he'd been holding. Starting from his neck moving up his face, he turned a flush of red. He looked from her to his hand and back. He could almost feel steam coming out of his ears. He pointed at her accusingly.
"Y-y-you PERV! Making m-me touch you like that! What the hell gives!?"
Thats right, he was blaming her for it.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Violet would turn beat red as she felt the grip on her bottom, uncomfortable yes, irritated getting there, enraged.... potentially. She'd turn around full hue without getting to the book instead she'd jeer at him with flared nostrils and an angry expression.
"Me a pervert! No you're the one copping a feel you pervert!" Mythical snorts of smoke coming out of her nostrils, fumes coming from her ears as she stared him down, a hand being raised slowly like she might take it out on him but settling to push herself upright to a stand momentarily forgetting the book that'd clattered away behind her at this point. Vi was more presently involved with a spite match with her new pal...
