Mental Information
Personality: Friendly but a little shy, Bailey is hard working and believes in putting your energy towards improvement instead of indulging in reckless pleasure. She's not used to being noticed, so when there is active interest directed towards her, she tends to get nervous and can get anxious enough that she starts pulling away. She has a sense of humor that rarely comes out even around close friends or family, and internalizes a lot of her thoughts and feelings. Though she would say she is loyal, she has been known to turn away when push comes to shove, and after meeting her inner self, she has become more open about her wants and observations to the point some might call her blunt.
Mentality: "It's not failure until you stop trying."
Ideal: Using what we have today to make a better tomorrow.
Belief: Everything has a purpose.
Physical Information
Build: Short and curvy
Defining Marks: She has a burn on the side of her right arm from an experiment gone wrong. Due to her chaos ability infecting a battle scar, a dark exoskeleton hovers above her face. The mask now covers her whole mouth which opens with cracked appearance completely separating the jaw from the top portion, leaving one eye in view.
Description: Short and curvy, Bailey has a bit of a stocky build and a hair with a mind of its own. She tends to wear a lot of warm, comfortable clothing and has since had regenerative abilities used to fix her damaged eyesight.
History Information
History: Bailey was born to a lower-middle class family on the outside of a territory with a low population and a limited range of resources. The middle child of three, she learned how to work with others and how to make things work, sometimes through sheer determination and a little desperation. If numbers couldn't help them in terms of manpower, then they found other ways to make it count; technology was valued to help keep the area stable and to make up the small clusters of towns in the area and to improve their quality of life, preferably before someone decided to take over and stake a claim on what they did have.
That changed when she was ten; with her father's death involving faulty equipment, the family had to struggle together to keep afloat, often going without something or other to make sure they were al fed and clothed. She learned to deal with the bullies that would come after her and her siblings. They moved to the outskirts of a town and found even rundown homes in the middle of nowhere needed protection. She learned to observe their weaknesses and find ways to use them, to outwit and outsmart the ones who tried to hurt her and her family rather than fight them outright and fail. Machines and ideas became better company than most people, and time spent by herself was put towards hopes she could shape into reality with her own hands.
Six years later, her mother remarried, and for once Bailey was allowed to indulge in the ideas more with the financial stability that meant she didn't have to scrap for parts or steal them – or other things, as it turned out. When her powers developed, it was seen as a blessing and an opportunity to better not only their family but their territory. It wasn't unheard of, but still rare and unexpected. She was sent to the academy with the expectation that she would be able to learn to stabilize and control her powers to improve her territory as well as her own life.
