I've Got This... (Leon/Mission)

[Leon]

"Not entirely sure. This is not a natural crystal. Synthesized, and started empty... With pre war tech."

Bailey would notice the same things on the monitor plus his quick equations would go over pre war and even early qi engine tech calculations.

"It would of taken five maybe even ten years to get this much energy."

[Bailey Oleander]

"Probably the roof panels, then, though it seems like someone may have intended to stop that production." At this point, she was assuming it was destroyed when the lab went into lock down, or when they developed the qi tech.

"We also found a prototype qi engine, but's drained dry." More thoughts dawned on her as she spoke. "Actually, come to think of it, I may be able to see about starting it up again."

[Leon]

The professor would go over some calculations about solar panels and a prototype qi engine.

"May give us a reaction. See about starting it up and we'll see about my projections matching up."

[Bailey Oleander]

"Right." Making her way back to the prototype, Bailey looked over the engine, a web of energy forming in the air and latching on to the engine, using her power to hopefully charge it!

[Leon]

With Bailey's help the qi engine kicks on and begins charging the Crystal. It began glowing and spinning a bit faster. However a spark would jump across his brief case.

"Hm~"

The briefcase would then explode in a huge puff of black smoke covering the front of the professor.

"Well..."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey turned at the sound of the crystal going faster, satisfaction on her face that quickly turned to horror at the sight of the black smoke coming up from the briefcase.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry." She winced. "Too much power?"

[Leon]

The professor would cough and brush himself off as best he could manage.

"Not from you. The crystal amplified the qi engine within it's field and then absorbed the output. My instruments were not set up to handle the feedback it seems."

Alex was wincing most of the time through that.

[Bailey Oleander]

"I see." Bailey noticed the wince, but she wasn't sure what exactly it was for. At least they had an understanding of what to expect next time, but she doubted the tech survived.

"At least we have an idea of how it's still running, then. Do you have something else we can use?" Other than what the bracelets might show. The amplification and absorbtion explained some of what was happening.

[Leon]

"I'm afraid I was only sent up here with that. It seemed rather rushed honestly. However, do not fear. I will not rest until this is solved~!"

He would rush to leave leaping and bounding up stairs and up and out the hole flipping and spinning majestically until out of sight. Alex would stare and blink a few times before shaking his head.

"That man will die young if he is lucky."

[Bailey Oleander]

"Ah. Okay." Bailey also stares as the debonair young man practically back flips up the trap door, slightly mesmerized and concerned. After a moment, she shook herself free of the daze with a non-commital sound to what Alex said, turning her full attention back to him.

"Since we now have the generator working on some level, I would like to take a look at one of the doors again if you don't mind, especially since we dont know how long the professor will be gone."

[Leon]

Alex would nod.

"Let's make our way back to the research tent then. That should be the nearest door anyways."

And so they would!

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey nodded and followed Alex back to the tent!

Once there, she'd take another look at the energy coming from the door to see if it was the same.

"We may want to have some backup if this goes the way I think it will. It's just a theory, so it may do nothing, but better safe than sorry."

[Leon]

The energy was the same as before, however her hand twitched and she would hear it speak again.

"The lock is sealed. With my help you can open it."

Alex would be gathering the soldiers near by.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey looked down at the twitch and gave the slightest nod.

"I would appreciate it, thank you. Do you have any idea what is on the other side?"

This has to look great and making a lasting impression. Talking to the glove on her hand.

[Leon]

"I do not remember, my memory only starts recently, but I understand it was something manning fought over."

Was the response she got.
