I've Got This... (Leon/Mission)

[Bailey Oleander]

'I see. Thank you. What will we need to do to unlock the door?' She directed the thought at the glove as she stepped towards the door, hoping the less obvious communication would work. Looking over her shoulder, she addressed Alex.

"I believe there is something inside that people fought over, but I'm not sure what exactly it is. I'm going to try opening the door when you are ready."

[Leon]

Alex would nod giving the go ahead.

"Simply free me to the locking mechanism, my energy should unlock it."

Should she do so the gemstone would glow and the door would give a loud "THUNK" as it unlocked and popped open a jar.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey does the thing! When the door pops, she lays a hand on it to push it open slightly, listening for any signs of life or machine activity on the other side.

[Leon]

There is none! However she can make out emergency red lighting.

[Bailey Oleander]

"There's lighting further down. When you're ready."

Once Alex and his team were, Bailey would open the door and head down the path!

[Leon]

Inside the floor and the walls didn't make a noise. Made out of the similar black hard rubber the door was made out of, however she would be able to note the red lights at the base of the walls all lit. She would come to a cross though with everyone behind her. She had a choice to go over as the path split left and right.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey takes a moment, then nods to the left path. She will start heading down it, checking to see if there is an energy reading as she goes.

[Leon]

Bailey wanders down the left path for many yards, the dimly lit halls with no foot falls being heard. Until they come across a section with multiple doors on both sides of the hallways. Doors closed, some open, but the bad part was the fact she could now make out conversation. It was just a small dull roar of talking like it was multiple people at once.

[Bailey Oleander]

The development was intriguing as well as disturbing. Were there people down here who had been locked away for the past twenty years, or was this more to do with returning, given the energy from the crystal that kept it gong?

She waves to one of the escorts to stay with her since they're the fighter of the group, slowly making her way to the door that seems to be where the voices are coming from. She'll try to stay out of sight if she can!

[Leon]

She makes it to an open side door with her escort, and can hear a male voice.

"Look, I'll go to the vault garden and get extra rations."

Followed by a female voice.

"Alright, just be careful."

Then some rustling near the open door right next to Bailey!

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey waved away the escort team in case they were in immediate view, uncertain of who or what would come out. She felt like she was probably dealing with survivors of some sort, but for now she would immediately duck behind the nearest open door, waiting for the male to come out!

[Leon]

And out he would walk, everyone having ducked out of the way in time, however he would stop as well, sniffing the air softly. Turning around his hands would come up a bit, as his nose scrunched baring sharp canines.

"Whose smell is this? No one down here smells like this. Come out now!"

He demanded.

[Bailey Oleander]

Ho boy, this was definitely different. Bailey paused for a moment, noting the black sclera and pointed canines. Her spine turned to ice at her demand even as her curiosity mulled over the possibilities. None that would matter if he ran into the group further down the hall, and she couldn't see that going well at all.

"It's mine," she said, her voice clear and audible, but shaking a little as she stepped out from her hiding place.

[Leon]

The man would take a deeper sniff from his spot as his eyes narrowed.

"How?"

He seemed very confused and it was visible in his posture, like a creature cornered or struck with fear. The female stepped out stopping at the scene before her.

"Kalin?"

She squeaked and he waved.

"Back inside, close the door."

She followed orders quickly.

"How do you come from outside?"

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey started to explain when another voice joined theirs, the woman she had heard earlier. As soon as she was there, however, she was gone, shut in by the door. Bailey turned back to the man who seemed to be in charge.

"Please, I don't mean any harm." She spoke quickly, gesturing with her palms out to him as she continued. "I came here to inspect the ruins of this place, and the energy that kept it shut. There was no way of knowing who or what was down here, so I came to find out." She paused for a moment, then continued.

"How long have you been down here?"
