Like that the speakers would turn on.
"All Squads gear up and await orders. All squads gear up and await orders. This is not a drill, reports of Qi Beast Activity as close as Territory Two Fifty. This is not a drill-"
The message would play on repeat as people rushed about getting geared up and ready. Krane, John, and Leon all geared up and moved to the Deployment staging area outside the Bay's where it was standard practice for the squads to assemble when ordered to gear up during drills.

Eric was one of the first to arrive. Despite the urgency, he didn't seem to be disturbed or worried about this situation. In fact, he was eager to see just what kind of Qi beast they would be dealing with.

Blake couldn't decide which sword to bring with him, so he'd grab both. His Katana strapped to his back and the rapier hanging at his hip. He'd only encountered one Qi beast before and it had killed three men before it was taken down. This would be a test of how far he'd come.

He wore a sword, and was barefoot, his eyes looking around for others, and the enemy.

Dominick jumped out of bed as the speakers started blaring something about a Qi beast and for all squads to gear up and get ready. He was dressed in seconds and out the door, watching as people rushed to the deployment area. He wasn't in a squad -- hell he hadn't even really attended a class, but in the chaos who would stop him from joining the fight? With a grin he'd take off towards the deployment area and blend in with another squad as he waited.

She'd give a nod to one of the agents, and stick her hands in her pockets, waiting for instruction.

Bailey grabbed her escrima sticks before heading to the area in front of the bays. She'd never come across a qi beast personally, but she'd tended wounds to those who had. It was hard to imagine seeing one herself, squad or not.

Avice would spot Eric, it looked like he'd been here prompto-do. She approached with a simple "Oi, ever faced something called a Qi beast? Only ever 'eard of em myself ne'er seen one up and personal." Would be a lie if she said she wasn't nervouse.

"Yes." As much as she could be. Bailey nodded, not missing the approval but knowing "no" wasn't really an answer, either. She coudln't stay in drills and training forever.

John would arrive and meet up with Rhona, Krane would stand near Emily and Leon would move to the front of the crowed and give a cough, pointing to the far side wall, where they would all see an illusion of events happening in Territory 250. Giant scorpions about the size of small cars where wrecking havoc, killing people and destroying buildings, some seemed to have Qi abilities, but the images would change too fast to see what they are.
"Scorpion like Qi Beasts are assaulting and heading this way going straight through everything and anyone in it's way like a bulldozer leveling towns. We are mobilizing in force to put an end to this outright. Squad One and Squad three are going to be the spear head. Squad two and four will strike the mass from an opening created by the spear head. Command Squad will lay down cover and switch out as needed. I will also be mobilizing to be the support for this mission. Move out and decide along the way how best to handle your jobs. Move out."
There were already jeeps with Cabal and Squad numbers on them. Leon would ride along with Squad 3.

Avice would grin and place her hands on her shoulders. "As if I need to but It would be for the best." She tried a bravado but honestly, it really sounded dumb once she said it. She'd just work on getting out there and not get in the way.

Dominick would look around at the other members gathered feeling MAJORLY unequipped. He had nothing but the clothes on his back and his wits. Looking down at his bare hands, he had no weapons and his mastery over his Qi was . . . well it definitely needed work. Looks like today was a perfect time to practice! Against giant scorpions no less! Still blended in with one of the squads he'd hop on the back of a jeep that read Squad 2 as they began to roll towards the battlefield.
