In Blake and Bailey's immediate area there were no more scorpions!
Avice is right there with Eric.
Eric can hear hissing, but it is not capable of communicating back. The gem in his hand however begins to glow softly.

Rhona saw the first one and dodged it. She hadn't but caught glimpse of the second one after hearing it erupt from the ground and she would get the balance on her feet and feel a sharp pain as it got her. She'd let a cry escape her lips that exasperated her anger. twisting in her stance she'd kick the one that got her as hard as she fucking could

Allen took a deep breath, looking at the various monstrosities as he summoned up courage to deal with this.
"Alright. I'll buy you what you need."
The ground under him would ripple, and five constructs the size of Allen, all looking like him and carrying stone swords would emerge, readying themselves for battle.
"I'll cut out a path, just say when and Follow close."
He'd wait for the go ahead before doing anything.
Ability #2: Stone Mason - Allen can generate and control concrete and earth/rocks/boulders, manipulating them into other items for use in combat. These items can be anything he wishes, Allen even capable of changing them into other things like gold, silver, or diamonds. Once they are of this structure, however, he cannot change them back, and they can only be controlled within 20 feet of his form. Once outside the 20 foot radius, they lose their life like quality and cannot be controlled. He can manipulate them in the air, at a distance (so long as he's touched and absorbed/created them already, and they are within the 20 foot radius.)

"Roger that, dude -- uh sir!" Dominick would attempt a salute at Krane before giving up and waving the kids to go ahead towards the jeep. While they ran, he'd position himself in the rear of the group to make sure none were lost.

John would attempt to smash the scorpion after Rhona with the sharp side of his hammer before it attacked!
Dominick would keep the kids safe from the rear, however a Scorpion would come around a building just in time to see them! Its charging the kids!

The scorpions head caved in under the combined attack of Rhona and John, the second one fired a laser that hit Rhona in the shoulder hard!

She looked at Eric like he was nuts but was even more dumbfounded when the creature seemed to respond. She'd keep her guard up and watch his back while he decided to make some kind of peace with the creatures. If of the others tried to surround them she'd try her best to keep them off.

Blake finds trouble! Scorpions entering a building where screams can be heard. Scorpions found people. Bailey can hear this too -wink, wink-

Allen's statues leapt in front of Eric like a wall, taking the blasts and exploding but protecting the leader and his gem. More of the constructs started forming out of the ground as Allen would move in front of his partners and charge forward with about seven statues to cut into the scorpions around the leader, intent to carve a path to the main baddy.
