And Leon put two and two together!

"Wha? Noooooo, really? You instructed her on meditation and made a deal didn't you?"

Leon would cover his mouth holding back a laugh. It nasally jumped through his snorts before he moved his hand long enough to get out.

"A rose is a rose as they say."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"And did she mention anything? So much as a word?"

Because Leon was right, he did.

[Leon]

Leon would point at the empty room and project an illusion of what he saw that night and what they said in a movie style. Since Eric didn't seem to want any of his fucking trail mix... Loser.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Problematic..."

She didn't go into details but she had mentioned him in passing in connection to it. He was unsure on if he wanted to push that. But it gave him doubts on if he could trust her, or if he would need to kill her.

[Leon]

"What's the goal on this Eric?"

Leon asked finally not looking at him. Instead unable to see his own illusions he would sit in his memories.

"Opening her eyes, getting answers, or just another game?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I had hoped to find someone I could trust to pass on what I'd found. Since those who were supposed to inherit it can not."

He shrugged.

"But it's also a game."

Always was.

[Leon]

Leon understood the want to pass on. The once great Dragon and his insatiable bloodlust cursed. No family and cursed to exist possibly for centuries. Leon would look away at the thought of the things he couldn't protect. The things he went through for them and how Eric shared a boat to that special place in hell.

"I had a question for you. If my son was still alive, would he be proud of what we built?"

Leon would look at Eric now.

"A world where we play these games?"

"I've never known a Sudeki to not be proud."

[Leon]

Leon would let out a quick breath with a laugh under it.

"You are right about that."

Leon would stretch a bit sitting back before his eyes would trail to Eric's eyes, trying to make a decision.

"Did you come down here just to visit, or is something bothering you? You have that face. That thinking face, like you are making decisions."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I thought you could use a friendly if smug face."

He didn't need anything from Leon.

[Leon]

"Hmm, so it doesn't involve me, or require my input. Fair enough."

Leon would shrug.

"I hear Arthur put you through some difficulty."

A grin would shoot across his face.

"And don't take the smug thing too personal, you just have one of those faces."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I wouldn't say that. He was more skilled than I had thought, but I still managed to wield Excalibur against him."

In a manner of speaking.

[Leon]

"Impressive... I wouldn't mind swinging that blade around a bit. Though I doubt it'd respond to my touch. Were you able to call upon anything extra ordinary from Excalibur?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"No more than what King Arthur himself was able to bring against me."

[Leon]

He'd shrug at that.

"Sounds like a valuable ally if nothing else."

He'd then look sideways at Eric.

"Why did you go straight for the lead Scorpion?"
