Too Much (Open)

[Leon]

Leon would nod at her thanks but would not respond to it beyond that. However at her question he would take a moment to breath some and contemplate.

"There are saving graces. Those without the white hair don't seem to have the genetic marker for control... There are also early experiments who don't have it, or those that cooperated. It's hard to know who is telling the truth in that instance we don't have any allied experiment generals or scientists that could run a test to see if it's possible."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey's eyes glimmered at the explanation, a moment of hope offered along with the information. It also made her wonder how many experiments were out there, considered safe. She also noted that Leon was pausing with his answers, as though she were poking deeper than he might have liked. But she would accept his answers as long as he was willing to give them.

"Are there any other known markers? Such as red eyes?"

[Leon]

"Red eyes are a marker of being genetically infused with Qi that is not your own. However the white hair is the only visual marker we know of for the mind control."

He'd close his eyes this time waiting for her next question.

[Bailey Oleander]

"What would you need for a scientist or tests to check other experiments?" She paused, noting him closing his eyes. Despite the pain, she leaned forward with a concerned frown.

"Are you alright, Commander?" He'd been bouncing between agitation, rapid movements, and now he seemed almost drained. Perhaps she should back off and find more on her own at this point.

[Leon]

"To test properly we need original diagrams and information on what and how it was done. Then we can figure out the triggers and a way to test for it. At this point it's just been many years of trial and error during the war."

He'd shrug with his eyes closed, but when she asked if he was okay he'd nod.

"Just fatigue. Being held down by these restraints and the magnitude and amount of Qi I use... From time to time my body reminds me of it's limits."

[Bailey Oleander]

"Sounds like the computers down there are definitely something to look into, then." She sighed and leaned back when he assured her that he was experiencing side effects of the bonds that limited his power. Fair, considering they'd just flashed into visible existence just a few moments ago.

"I imagine it can be pretty draining." She wasn't sure how safe it was to push the restraints comment. She took a breath and nodded.

"If it's alright, I'd like to take a look at the files on what's been discovered on them so far."

[Leon]

Leon would raise an eye brow. "We haven't discovered anything on the computers yet. Krane's mission doesn't start for a few days."

He assumed they were still on the subject of the labs.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey shook her head.

"I mean anything we have on record here, at Cabal. I doubt I have any kind of clearance to just go and find it."

[Leon]

Leon would finally open his eyes and shake his head as well.

"There is a surviving group of experiments from the early stages of the facilities before the war. They joined the Gods during the war and have remained there since. I feel that would be a better source of information."

[Bailey Oleander]

That made her pause, pursing her lips slightly as she took in just what that might mean. Even if it was a guess at best.

"Alright then, I'll keep that in mind." She pursed her lips slightly, still mulling it over, and looked up at him again. "I will look into it. Thank you." She took a deep breath and sighed, shoulders easing. "I believe that is all the questions I have for now."

[Leon]

Leon would chuckle as he stood up.

"I'm sure."

He'd stretch, his shoulder would pop and he'd pull it close to his body, turning chibi with tears running down his face.

"Ooooooouuuuch....."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey blinked at the sudden sound and the chibi, then shook her head as her Commander proceeded to tear up like it was the worst thing in the world.  She shook her head.

"That's what you get for sleeping in the curtain like that."
