Too Much (Open)

[Leon]

Leon would give an exasperated sigh before crawling out of the bag ass first. Before slipping as he attempted to catch himself with frantic limb flailing and noises of surprise before he fell to the ground. He would stand up almost as immediately as he fell down with a hand on his hip and another he put to his mouth to cough into.

"Quite."

He would sit on a near by chair.

"Well I had been waiting for you to leave the infirmary before talking with you, but with the Captain of the Command squad storming into my office bleeding on things demanding control of the facility mission I decided to step up my time stamp and come by."

Leon would adjust his feet to be on their toes and bounce his right knee.

"I also figured you may have questions or would like a further detailed explanation than what I could give you before you stormed out of my office."

The aggravation that she felt slammed into a wall of shock at Leon's words. Her eyes widened and her hands clamped over her mouth as she processed exactly what that might mean.

"He what?!" Her hands dropped into her lap, frantic as she shook her head. "Is he okay? Was it his arm bleeding again, or something else?" Her cheeks were red at him mentioning her storming out of his office, and he was right in that she wanted more of an explanation, but the description he gave put Krane at the top of her concern list.

[Leon]

This caused a puzzled look.

"Lost that bet." He mumbled under his breath.

"He is fine. He was doing too much with that fresh wound of his and it reopened a bit. He bled on my guest chairs and desk. I sent him to the Qi Healers to make sure it closed properly."

[Bailey Oleander]

She sank back with a small sigh of relief, nodding as she accepted the explanation. She figured it would be easy to find out if it was worse than was said for her comfort, but for now, Leon had her full attention as she sat there, hands still folded in her lap, the concern washing from her face as a small frowned formed.

"Thank you for the update. Where would you like to continue?"

[Leon]

Leon would shrug.

"I could explain my head off, but without hitting the issues, or subjects you want answers for. So instead, where would you like me to start?"

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey considered his remark for a moment, her gaze flicking over her Commander as her lips pressed into a line, the familiar head tilt starting to return.

"Before I do, is there anything I'm not allowed to ask you about this?" She'd been told not to ask him anything about it by David.

Yes, she was testing his word already.

[Leon]

Leon would bite the inside of his cheek a bit thinking on it.

"There are a lot of things I'm not supposed to answer, but that hasn't stopped me before."

[Bailey Oleander]

She could appreciate that. At least, until she asked a question she would regret. But that was in the future.

"Well, first is more of a request than a question. If I'm unable to join the others the next time the facility is addressed, I would like copies of the files obtained. Sil - one of the experiments - was talking about information she had seen about the area was sealed off. It's...not pleasant, but I believe there is a connection between it and my new companion." She held up her gloved hand for emphasis, then sighed.

"I don't know where to start. Commander Blaze came by earlier and spoke with me a little. I understand the need to make sure possible threats don't become active, but I just...is that really the only thing? We have to punish people for existing? They were living in peace until that door was opened.

"What else are you hoping to find down there?"

[Leon]

Leon would ponder the requests. Very similar to what Krane had demanded not but some hours before. However the question followed did warrant an answer.

"Information mostly. There is so much we don't know about everything that went down. There is a lot we don't know about the experiments done, the full effects, or if it's even reversible."

He'd shrug, his eyes going to her hand every now and then.

"What I personally want is files. Files specific to a year ago. As well as files from eleven years ago. If those computers have any sort of access to a central data bank, or plans, anything."

While Bailey trusted Krane to do what he seemed determined to do, she had no idea where she would be in the future. There was also something very specific she was looking for in them.

Leon's explanation was surprisingly more than she had thought it would be, honest and to the point and showing they had some of the same interests in a way. So she shared her own memories of it with him, since he had admitted he couldn't know what she had seen.

"Kirin advised that the scientists who committed the experiments were down there, but they removed their own voice boxes," she said with a frown. "But they are alive, along with the ferals. I was unable to get information on the computer lab's location, but it's all run by crystal power." She drummed her fingers along her leg as she debated continuing.

"There was also a crystal on site above ground, which surprised them. Apparently, there's one below ground, somewhere, but I know you mentioned the facility was pre-war tech. There's a power plant there with a prototype new age engine."

[Leon]

"Actually I saw most of that."

Leon would admit, he'd reach up and tap his ear.

"I just couldn't hear anything."

[Bailey Oleander]

Right.

"So do we have an idea what it does?" Seeing as it fried the professor's tech when she juiced it a bit.

[Leon]

"The professor has sent back reports. Theories mostly, however we can tell it powered their facility, and was a primary ingredient for a lot of the experiments... Which if memory serves was the artificial creation of Qi."

Leon thought on it.

"Which has a lot of implications."

[Bailey Oleander]

It did, and probably more than Bailey could come up with on her own. She rubbed her eyes with teh tips of her index fingers, inhaling as she thought on it.

"It does, and I can come up with a few ideas, but...what comes to mind for you?"

[Leon]

Leon paused.

"During the war, I worked with a man named Jonathon Winters. My research into Qi lead me to a theory about it's interactions with each other. I combined my master level Qi with his own and created a plasma rod. This rod was capable of accepting into it any and all Qi it came across. However in a raid on the Lightning Tower it was lost. The implications this crystal holds for me is an unfinished theory about the passing of energy from one to another... The introduction of enough energy into a person without it and that person becoming that energy..."

He frowned.

"Either way, the level of power that I calculated was needed to do such a thing was beyond what I could produce... I would also bet that with my Lightning powers I was the most capable individual of producing energy than any other living person."
