"But just like actions we take aren't so black and white, neither is the future. What you saw was a possibility. The most plausible if things go on as they have. But time is fluid, it changes with the actions we decide to take. In the future I was shown, I never came to Cabal. Yet here I lie in it's infirmary. I never met you either. Yet there you stand. A few good people, with intent to make things better can alter the very foundation our existence."
He'd look up to her.
"You spend so much time admiring the stories, the legends, the tales of those great few who weaved the fabric of the world as we know it today. But I have to ask- have you thought about your own story? When you grow old, and your's is told, will children grow up reading about the girl who could phase through solid matter? Or will you be swallowed up by history? You have the potential to do great things, Oni. I can see it- I just wish you could."
