He Who Comes With The Dawn (Bailey/GM)

[Bailey Oleander]

"Of course." Bailey took lead as she originally intended, gaze going over the figures that were left behind the door as they had been. Her heart twisted in her chest at the sight; she forced herself to look forward, taking the path to the left as she had the first time!

She would try to sense the energy of the area around them as she went. Before, it had almost been silenced, but hopefully there would be something this time. If not, at least she had the map to go by.

He'd reach for the gem again, holding it aloft.

These were twisted creations from the war. People who had their will taken from them and turned into mindless killing machines. It is for this reason that human's like this must die. If given the chance, they would destroy our world.

[Leon]

Bailey once again goes the way she knows and can sense nothing beyond the walls around her. She follows the map and it is oddly silent in the halls. Though her foot steps don't echo, it's an odd kind of thudding noise as she enters the huge cafeteria area from before. The people so full of hope as they were rallied by Kirin.

The cafeteria goes in three directions, left, straight and right. There is a large energy source to the left and the right.

Eric wouldn't get much of a response from the gem, but it was paying attention as far as he could tell.

[Bailey Oleander]

"This is as far as we went last time," she advised as they went past the first set of rooms and into the cafeteria. It was odd not to hear her own steps, or feel the energy of anyone. Anything. It felt like she'd had another sense cut off. She took a deep breath and pulled out the map, indicating the paths with the energy sources. She took another deep breath, forcing herself to exhale through her mouth, trying to push away the memories. The rush of footsteps and cloth, the soft murmurs of hope and disbelief. Being introduced to the people she'd thought to save, but had only escorted to their death. People who had believed in her.

And now there was nothing left.

Funny, wasn't it?

"There's a source down each of those openings," she would point to the left and right, looking over the map in more detail in hopes the symbols could prove a distraction. Is there anything about the halls other than the power source that she can see by the map?

"Well then let's get to work."

He would head to check the left one first, not having the emotional connection to this place that Bailey had.

[Leon]

Bailey knows the left path leads to a dead end! The right however seems to go to a more central area.

Eric goes to the dead end. It's a door with a small window that seems to be frosted over!

[Bailey Oleander]

"That one leads to a dead end," Bailey warned as Eric starts to head to the left. She didn't need to look at the map to know that one, the memory coming to mind as she followed after Eric anyway. "The other one will take us more towards the center."

She stopped just inside the entryway.

"Dead end or stuck door?"

He'd roll his eyes and run a hand over the door to test just how cold it was. Then he'd palm strike it to utilize the vibrations of the strike to cause the door to send spikes toward the inside of the room, pulling from around the door frame. He figured he could make this dead end a living one again.

Stone Strike - Eric hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack.

Eric's strike works in causing the vibrations needed for his spikes to thrust out, he find it is very cold, and it sounds like glass breaking inside the room, however he can hear the metal under the rubber wretch and whine.

"It's open."

He'd say, stepping into the room to examine what had been blocked off before.

[Bailey Oleander]

... Well that happened.

Bailey decides not to comment as she follows into the uncharted room!

[Leon]

Eric and Bailey would find a row of 4 tanks, tilted on an axis with little consoles next to each one. Another four would be on the opposing wall. They were numbered with roman numerals and all were permeating frost. The tanks had small windows to peer in should they decide to.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Eric would frown at the tanks. He had seen these before. Maybe not this specific set, but he knew what it was about.

"Tell me what you see in those tanks over there."

He'd say pointing to the far wall while Eric himself would go and look in at the ones tilted in the axis.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey looked around the room, noting the numbers and the far tanks.

"Alright." She headed towards the far tanks with a small nod, curious as well as sensing that Eric had something more specific in mind.

Bailey would peer into the windows of the tanks!

[Leon]

Eric would peek in and find a familiar face staring back at him, frozen in place.

Bailey would also find more experiments frozen in time, though they were wearing white hospital clothes.
