Fu** Your Couch

[John]

John would take a deep breath and sigh as he trotted to the chair, pulled it out and plopped down, slamming his face into the table.

"Grrrraahhhhh."

[Lucifer]

He'd be waiting for nearly ten minutes before the door would open again and the guard would bring in Rhona who was cuffed at the hands and the ankles. He'd lead her to the table and cuff her hands to a ring in the table to secure her, but with a chain so she could move around a little bit. He'd then take a position near the door to give them some privacy, but not unwatched.

[Rhona Hall]

Fully clothed and even with a sweater on she looked pale, sick, and tired. She was cold constantly cold the concrete building was unforgiving and forever saping all the warmth from her body. Only a few moments in the day would she be able to see the sun but through small windows or misty glass it was hardly a drop to drink for a dehydrated desert wanderer. At night it was much worse. But she pushed through and even challenged the cold maybe she'd adapt better. But the push was hard.

She dug her finger under the collar she was wearing scratching some uncomfortable and inconveniently places stitches. They all wore them... The prisoners anyway. Blocking Qi from her reach.  She was still healing from both her battle with Blake and Bailey... But also her confrontation from Mathew, aka Ares. She groaned at the memory of her embarrassing herself.  She might never live that down. She burried her face in her bulky hardened palm hiding some left over shame.

Truly it was embarrassing but it also lit a fire under her ass. The gods looked her way and he tested her. Whether she passed or failed didn't matter to her. They saw her. They see potential and she was going to nourish that as soon as she was out of here. She could not wait for the day.

Rhona was steadfast in what she believed in. Parents grinded into her a fighting spirit that rivaled most other students. Yes, she was proud of that. Keyword... "was".

Right now she had to focus on something other than her pride. She needed better focus. Which was hard because for once that feral side and herself have agreed on something.

...

And that would wait, she had a visitor!

She arrived and got situated at the table grinning at John truly happy he'd come. It faded a bit as she was embarrassed with the weakened state she was in like an undead patchwork doll.

"Good to finally see ya... Sup?"

[John]

John would be repeatedly smashing his forehead into the table until Rhona finally FINALLY showed up. His forehead red from the repeated beating. Sitting up straight and folding his hands on the table he would smile and nod.

"Well, found out you were in here, no one told me why until Dick Toons over there. Missed you on the battle field and figured I'd come get your side of the story."

In the mean time he would be testing his connection to his Qi, to see if there were any dampening fields or something.

[Lucifer]

There was a dampening field for Qi, he could reach it, but it was weak!

[Rhona Hall]

Her thick lips parted to speak but the words got caught in her throat for a second. She coughed to clear it.

"My side of the story was I lost control. I've had something forming inside me that has made me a Feral mess... I tried to suppress it and when..." she took a breath. "These thugs blew up a normal kids school and I suddenly didn't want to stop it. I even went for both members of Squad One at the throat."

[John]

John's eyes narrowed, though not at Rhona at the weak state of his Qi. Hearing Rhona's side about letting the feral side control her because of some fuckers being extra evil that day made him shrug. Squad 1 could handle being targeted like that surely.

"And so they put you in here with a Qi collar as punishment. Makes more sense now."

John would lean back, pushing the chair onto two legs and folding his arms behind his head.

"Well, you probably don't know whats going on out there then. Seems the world under the accords is going to shit, people fighting in fields of blood, hundreds, maybe even thousands dead already and it's only been two battles. We need you out there glow worm. What say you?"

[Rhona Hall]

"I'd absolutely am dying to be on that battlefield instead of in this freezer of a place!" her brow upturned.

"I'll be getting out soon... I hope its been unclear just how long I'm going to be here... But you can bet when I do, I'll glow my brightest!" she balled her well worn knuckles into fists resting them on the table the only warm glow within the blonde was the sparkle of her eyes.

[John]

John would take a deep breath, smile and nod. Holding a hand out to summon his hammer to himself.

"Well I'm glad to hear that. Cause I dunno if we can wait very long considering the circumstances. Prota is still here, now armies are marching from multiple territories to take out two sixty and two five nine. The Dragons are unchained and apparently working together for the time being. We have no idea how many and who are our enemies and for all we know they have sleeper agents and spies dug in so deep at this point, Toons himself sitting right over there could be one of them. So, only sure thing I can do is this."

[Lucifer]

Nothing happens!

[Rhona Hall]

"Can do what?" she looked confused.

[John]

John would just hang in the air with his hand out like a dumb ass. He took a second to look at his hand like.

"Uh, so usually it's here by now."

[Lucifer]

Still nothing!

[Rhona Hall]

She raised a brow and looked at his hand and where its direction. While it didn't take long for it to click in her mind.

She leaned forward and her voice was not much higher than a whisper. "John... Even if they are here... Whatever you've got coming it wont look good for either of us." Their was an excited flutter in her heart beckoning for the best outcome but her continence waa flat out sounding red alarms.

[John]

John shook his hand a bit.

"Seriously, I swear this never happens."

Seemed there was some performance issues on this one. Her warning came though and John shook his head.

"Look, we don't have time for you to sit this out. How about we put it that I'm kidnapping you, huh?"
