"I see." It made sense that he would craft his, all things considered. A small, well-shaped arm would appear in a break in her brown curls, the siren parting the chestnut curtain with grace and dignity that hadn't been there just moments before.
It was intriguing information, enough to pique her curiosity, but she had no idea what to do with it beyond that for now. "Rare" was a term that meant it had her interest, but it was also more than a little unusual, considering she hadn't even had any qi abilities or signs before merging with Ahriman. Now she apparently had a familiar manifesting out of seemingly nowhere. It was interesting, especially since it came form her, and difficult to miss the pirate theme, but this was hardly her area of expertise.
"Well, I think it's pretty obvious that she's happy to be here, and she seems to be useful, too."

Considering she has minimal fiends in the area, it wasn't difficult to figure out what he meant. Rozalin let her symbiote retain his silence for several seconds before sighing and rolling her eyes.
'Sometime today, Ari.'
'Huwhuh? Sorry I was--'
'Eying her figure, yes. I know what that's like from you. I'm assuming you didn't do this then?'
'Nope.' She could feel the symbiote scratch the back of his head. 'I like her, though. Do I get to say hi?
"He says no." She shook her head, the mix of seduction, music, and pirate lore a new mystery. One she could appreciate, as well, as the Siren primped while she was being examined.
"I have no idea what it means."

"Yes and no." She shrugged her unoccupied shoulder. "Do I know what it is? Kind of, from what youv'e said. Do I know what she does? Also kind of. I don't feel anything malicious, but considering the fact I have never been able to use qi before Ahriman came along and he is confused about it? And this apparently isn't normal? That part does worry me." Another shrug as she tried to apss it off as nothing. At the end of the day, there wasn't much she could do.
"But she's here now and seems the type to help rather than cause problems. If there are any other changes, I'll deal with it then."

That made her pause. Rozalin wasn't even sure what she could hope to find, but if nothing else, perhaps she could learn some of what to expect.

He'd tap his chest to activate the rune burned on his flesh. Grimmacing in pain as the armor vanished from Roz and appeared around him this time.

"Certainly." It would be good to see what else her partner was capable of, for sure. she drew her blade again, Siren flying up from her shoulder to start playing the same melody as before, watching them with mild interest.
Rather than jump staright into the fight, however, Rozalin frowned and looked him over.
"You're certain you're alright?" It was obvious this was tied to the armor, but she had no idea what happened or why it was a thing. None of his other spells brought out such a reaction from him.

He'd say, stepping back and channeling his mana again around himself to form his water shield.

The shield would form and between that and his armor he was confident he would be fine.
"Attack me with your wind."
He was ready for it.

Well then, she'd leave it be. Rozalin returned to her usual fighting stance, posture much closer to normal now without the armor on her as she swung at her partner. It was strange, something she never expected to do with Preston, but here they were. Not like she wouldn't have asked him to attack her if she still had the armor to try some things of her own.
This time, she would only strike with her wind qi. She could feel the drain from repeated practice wearing her down, but not enough to hinder her just yet. Plus, she wanted to see what he could do.

The attack was enough to pop his water shield but nothing more as he channeled his mana, electricity crackling around him.
"Estun"!
He'd say as the electricity arced from him to zap Roz in the face. It wouldn't hurt, but it would sear her mana temporarily to block access to that move.
"Try again."
He smirked.

Well that was new. Though it didn't hurt, the shock to the face was a surprise as she drew her blade into a defensive position, unable to deflect it in time and making a note to change that, too. She noted the smirk and raised a brow, humoring him as she would attempt to unleash another wind attack!
Only, nothing happened. Rozalin took a step back, then another, eying him warily.
"I see you've learned some new things, too." Her lips lifted in a bit of a smirk. "Good to know."
