He'd dismiss the armor and channel his mana one last time. This time into the Holy element to restore some of her mana while they ended this training session.
"Kiron Rot"!
He'd adjust his glasses and make his way toward her.
"It works by searing off parts of the brain that direct Qi flow. It's a temporary thing, but it triggers off of the last spell or ability they used."

She sheathed her sword as the flash of white energy that gave her an extra burst of energy, the fatigue fading from her limbs somewhat as she nodded.
"Interesting." She nodded and chuckled. "You are just full of surprises."

Going back wasn't quite what she had in mind just yt. The city was a floating jewel above the sea, but also more than she wanted right now. All the wals and luxuries - oh those luxuries - was like eating a triple layer chocolate cake when you maybe had a cookie or two in your life before in terms of sweets. Preston knew it as well as he knew breathing, but she wasn't quite ready to go back and start dealing with being called "Lady Kendal" again just yet.
"I think I'll stay out here a while longer."

"Will do." She waved as he left, a small smile on her face before she headed out further into the field, her pace no longer a rush of agitation and energy needing to be burned.
Just the sweet taste of freedom, and a little siren song along the way.
