A slight hissing would go off in Tina's room, at around 2 in the morning!

Tina would flop around in bed, twisting and turning in the sheets before finally kicking them off. Nightmares sucked. She scrubbed at her face with the back of her hand, her blonde hair an even more disheveled mess than usual with bleary blue eyes.
"Snake...Snaaaaake," she mumbled, still half out of it.

"Not quite."
In her room was David! The hissing sound came from the rest of the smoke David that was coming through her window!
"I told you we'd see each other soon."

Tina was suddenly wide awake and wide-eyed at the voice in her room. Because no on at Cabal came into her room unless they wanted to risk getting bits blown off. It was known - and something she encouraged they spread. She cocked her head to the side, wary.
"You're kind of creepy, too, huh?" Her hand with the ring wasn't in sight, still half under the blankets. Her head tilted up as though she were indeed an imperial princess.
"Don't you know it's rude to enter a lady's room uninvited?"

His head spun in a circle, before settling staring at her again.
"This is your....bedroom? How lovely...."
His smoke filled the room but didn't touch Tina, and it lasted only a second before it shot back to him lightning fast. In his hand was a bracelet.
"And....what is this?"
He inspected it.

She frowned, pretenses falling away as she eyed the man who was more like a viper to her. Or ate least, the one wearing the face was.
"Everything in this room is mine." She scowled, pushing the blankets away. Her pajamas hung loose on her tiny frame, but better than they had in months since she actually had decent food at Cabal.
"What do you want?" She froze, eyes narrowing as the mist picked out a silver bracelet from under her bed, eyes narrowing like she'd just found a poisoned candy in her room. The smoke may not have been able to touch her, but it had something he shouldn't have.
"Give. It. Back," she said softly, her voice even, eyes locked on him and her mother's bracelet. It was one of the only things she had left of her mother besides the fading memories, a treasure she'd received for hard work frowned upon outside of Territory One. Pretty, but far too big and heavy for her small wrists as she was now.

He looked back to her.
“Tell me about this first.”

"Why?"

"Because I like it. If I like things, I usually eat them. If I eat it, it's destroyed. If I like it's story and it's a true one, perhaps I give it back, perhaps not."
He seemed very honest.

She missed Leyak's voice in her head right now. Tina's jaw clenched, chin raising again at the man's explanation.
"Fine. But first you have to tell me why you're bugging me." Since he had been curious about why she'd trusted his looks the first time. Something about parameters, whatever they were for.

He brought the bracelet up and opened his mouth-

"FINE!" She exploded as he brought the bracelet closer, all but springing up onto the bed and ready to launch herself at him.
"It's my mom's. Was my mom's." And if he ate it, there would be no mercy.

He brought it back down quickly, his question rattled off just as soon as she finished saying it was her mothers.
"What happened to mommy?"

'None of your business. She snarled instead of vocalizing it, not caring if she looked like a feral, half drowned cat. The knot in her throat was unexpected, something she thought she had swallowed down time and again until it finally knew its place. Away from her. But now, here, he had the last memento she had of a woman she half remembered and raised on a pedestal.
"She died." She swallowed the traitorous knot, willing it back to hell. It had no place here.
The ring from Leyak was now visible since she was half ready to spring into the air like a flying squirrel!

"NO MORE SIMPLE ANSWERS OR I EAT IT."
His words were loud but didn't seem to leave the room, his mist rolling all over. His voice was normal and fast again. He was clearly hungry.
"Tell me what happened to mommy. How did she die? Where's Daddy? Why keep it? Did she give to you as she died or did she give it to you and died much later? TELL ME STORIES."
