Obviously more of the same! There was just two of them this time, having hefted balls of shadow and now hurling them at Mathew in rapid succession! (4 balls each dmg: 102)

This time Mathew would drop into the stone floor of the structure they were in, burrowing through it to try and reach a wall and to burrow upward so he could drop down on them and strike them both down!

Level 12: Tunneling - Mathew is able to tunnel into Stone and metal and come out at another part of the battlefield of his choosing.

Mathew could not actually burrow into this structure! He gets hit by two of the blasts, the other two veer off course a bit from the explosions and hit random stasis people! The explosions once again creating runes to hold him in place. (Hold Strength: 102)

The runes began to glow as the large shadow creatures began charging more dark energy balls!

Mathew would slam upward toward the rune holding him in place once more before charging at the two beasts and unleashing the gravity of the damage he'd taken upon them both while safely away from his daughter. He was curious if these were being constructed on the spot, or if their were a finite amount of them.

Pressure Release: Mathew can absorb the damage he takes and hold onto it within the same thread up to his energy stat +20%. He can then release this energy in a blast of damage around him sharply increasing gravity and doing the damage he has stored to everyone in a ten-foot radius of him.the gravity goes back to normal as instantly as it was increased feeling like the person was crushed by a fist from the heavens.

The two were unable to launch more balls before they were struck by the attacks damage destroying their forms to fall to the ground and seep energy like the first, deflating like shadowy balloons.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd reach into his jacket and pulled out the soul stone of the Scorpion King, pushing his energy into the crystal to try and summon forth the soul within like he had before.

"I want to find whatever power source is summoning these guardians and stasis chambers."

[Leon]

Four thuds could be heard in the distance as the Scorpion King popped out holding his chain and sickle.

"Quake with fear!"

The chains would spread like a spider web of energy scaling the entire place giving a true show of how vast this place really was. 50 acres in diameter for this base location, going up forty stories, with multiple floors.

"There is a man in a chamber on the middle level being used to generate these things."

"How far from where we are now?"

[Leon]

"Twenty stories straight up. Grab the chain!"

The four large shadows had charged energy balls ready to throw them!

He'd grab it!

[Leon]

Just in time Mathew is yanked by the retracting action of the chain into the air, avoiding the new energy balls and explosions, the chain would snake and dive around things as it moved them through the area quickly, before depositing them on the twentieth floor which was empty except one mand standing in the middle. Wearing arabian style robes, and a masked turban with the same shadowy vapors coming off of him. His eyes glowing yellow, but he was obviously solid.

The figure would hiss and form a familiar dark energy ball!

[Mathew Amtrum]

He held on tight as he was pulled through the structure until he was plopped down in front of the man that was summoning those beasts. It was the mysterious random guy! His one true enemy for this current hour.

"What? No speech or introduction?"

Just orbs? Someone needed to go back to villain school.

"Right, whatever." He'd say clearing his throat. "Hello, my name is Mathew Amtrum, you have my daughter. Prepare to die."

[Leon]

The Shadow Master moved to the right quickly throwing a few orbs, the ground pulsing with ripples of black energy becoming circles of shadow energy on the ground as his feet hit the ground! (Energy ball dmg: 122)

[Mathew Amtrum]

He sighed.

"I miss the old villains."

He'd swing his mace at the incoming orbs to try and either destroy them or send them flying back toward the man as he'd charge toward him!

[Leon]

The orbs were knocked away, caught and thrown abck at Mathew until they were too close to throw he would try to slam one of the orbs in his right hand into Mathew's cheek! (dmg: 174)
