The road to reunions (GM)

[Leon]

Once the warrior's body was fully engulfed in the light he would freeze in place, however he was casting a shadow, unlike Evelyn.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew would move behind a second of the undead and would kick it into the first to try and use that force to knock her out of the beam! He was unsure why she cast no shadow but the dead did.

[Leon]

Mathews kick would indeed knock the undead into each other the fore sending the kicked undead sailing over the first also freezing once completely consumed, however the shadow was larger now that they where both inside and the second one was horizontal. Suspended in the air. However the impact was obviously solid, the first zombie was not going to move.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd move to the third one and this time hoist him up so that he'd be over Evelyn to try and block the light from touching her and cast its shadow upon her.

[Leon]

As the shadow hit her she seemed to gain color and fell to the floor under the shadow.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew would reach into the shadow and drag her out!

[Leon]

He does so!

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd pull out her soul stone and try to infuse the soul back into her body!

[Leon]

Thanks to Mathews practice and knowledge manipulating Qi and Qi crystals he is able to do so, though she remains unconcious for now.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd inhale deeply, fighting back tears as the exhaustion and relief washed over him. She may be out cold, but she had her soul. He'd bury his face into her neck as he wrapped his arms around her for an embrace. Relieved to be able to hold his child one more time even as he checked for breathing and a heartbeat.

[Leon]

He finds breath and a heartbeat. She flutters for a second before her eyes snap open and she immediately moves to push Mathew away and kicking to knock him back rolling to a standing position and getting a stance, light headedness and muscle atrophy kick in and she callapses to her hands and knee's.

"What?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

He lets out a sigh of relief.

"Thank Strike's Nazi Killing Ass."

He'd pick himself up and dust himself off, pretending like he wasn't in a lot of pain and covered in his own blood.

"Thought you would have learned as a kid, you can't beat me at hide and seek."

His effort at a joke to lighten the mood was mostly for his own benefit.

[Leon]

Her face turned to look at Mathew, eyes glassy almost immediately, seeing him covered in blood and bruises. She pushed off the best she could to stumble over and fall onto him.

"Daddy! It was horrible! Mom, and... And..."

Incoherent sobbing follows. Gripping his clothing and digging her face as far as she could into his chest to run from the nightmare she lived.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd wrap his arms around her and just hold her tightly, cradling her in his arms. He'd not complain of the pain as she burrowed into him. Like all things, he would endure.

"Shh Shhh Shhh. I know sweety. I know. You are safe now, we are going to get you home and cleaned up. And then I'm going to see about the rest."

He'd squeeze her tighter.

"Daddy's got you."

[Leon]

She would cotninue sobbing for a little while before she pulled his now blood stained face from his clothes, sniffing a bit and wiping her face. Taking deep breaths to compose and take on a stoic expression like her mother until everything was done.

"Where are we?"
