Caelen would begin to glow as he activated his inner strength! His body bolstering itself as his heart pulled it's power into himself to shield him reflexively. He'd take the punch right into the chest and look down at Lann unphased.

With Lan down he'd simply reach to try and grab Faye and lift her up off the ground, held out away from him so she couldn't kick him or something.

Lann does what he was told, and goes to hit Caelan with his Qi by swiping his fingers!
Mostly because Cael's a bigger target, and obviously can handle it. He doesn't really want to hurt someone.

She's too sluggish to think of dodging, and she does kick her legs around a bit when she's lifted up, giving Cael a disgruntled frown.

A small, very thin trickle of blood formed on Cael's chest. Much like a paper cut as Faye kicked helplessly in his grasp and he would just look down. And back to Lann. And then to Faye.

Faye's already stopped kicking because it's tiring.
"Told you. I don't fight..." she says, shifting her eyes to the side.
She can do hit and runs. Maybe a back-stab. Everything else is too hard.

The second attack did even less than the first! Cael would set Faye down gently before offering Lann a hand up.
"It's okay. Everyone is new at some point."
It was more or less directed to both of them.

She shrugs, not really offended. She wasn't really here to get good at fighting. She was more interested in making others better at it. Or helping them get back into it. She couldn't really observe HERSELF quite as well, so it wasn't ideal.
She gives Lann a rough pat on the back, not even looking at him.
