It was a beautiful day outside; birds were singing, flowers were blooming. On days like these, kids like Tina were blowing stuff up.
At least, she was going to. It was all but unanimous that Tina would be taking her Trainee graduation out to the training grounds, away from the buildings she’d been known to blow up on occasion. The tiny blond hopped from one foot to the other, periodically stopping to stretch until she was on her tiptoes and repeating the process with a serious expression on her face all the while. At least, as serious as it could be with a focused gaze and puffed out cheeks as she took measure of the young man who was her training partner. No one she had seen before, but apparently he specialized in defensive abilities on top of sporting a protective suit to take away the worst of the damage she was expected to do.
It was also worth noting that he’d opted to wear a protective cup, even if no one said anything. When at last the final board member was present, Tina nodded and proceeded to make this worth their while. They’d get to see exatly what she could do. She palmed a rock between her hands before chucking it at her target, who took the damage well enough, grunting when the world burst into fire where it hit.
“That’s the easy part,” she acknowledged with a yawn, blue eyes going bright as she took a step forward. “Round two is different.” She gestured at her opponent, the traditional “come at me, bro” gesture with the sin of absolutely no pop culture reference to go with it.
“Hit me.” She grinned when the wall of energy he crafted to make a shield wall shifted into the form of several daggers, aiming for her again and again as she rushed him, swiping a hand at the daggers that would turn and return to her partner, slicing into the suit, instead.
“Nope~!” She pulled a marble from one of her many pouches, charging it as small explosions pushed her past her normal speed, lighting the way like she was jumping from wave to wave of fire. The marble bounced off of her target’s face with a faint thud, confusing him for a moment but nothing to break his concentration of the fact someone was about to get up in his personal space, the ground beneath him erupting in fire.
“Come on, Kayel, we got work to do!” It wasn’t the same, watching the shadow beast emerge in a wisp of darkness that looked like it was bleeding into the air around it, but it was exciting neverthless. She figured she might as well give Leyak’s counter a test measure while she was at it.
“Hold ‘im.” Letting out a gleeful cackle as the shadow beast did so, Tina leaped with the last explosion underfoot, jumping onto her opponent and latching on to him like the true monkey child she was, now able to do so while her summoned companion did as instructed with more strength than she had herself.
“Gonna wanna move back!” Was the warning any and all got, along with five seconds to follow suit, before she let off a small nuclear explosion that left them both on the ground, her opponent staring up the sky, unconscious, as she dusted herself off with all the dignity of a foreign princess and nodding at the panel before bobbing the tiniest of curtsies, as real performers do, while her shadowy counterpart gave a grand bow when she gestured for it to do so.
Zero Ability: Tina is able to charge an object and make it EXPLODE! 1/4 Energy stat damage is added to her attack if exploded that post or 1/2 energy explosion if it explodes the next post
Ability #2: Tina can make her footsteps EXPLODE! BANG! Speed increase by 1/2 her energy as she HARNESSES THE POWER OF EXPLOSIONS TO MOVE AROUND!
Ability #3: NOPE! - Tina can EXPLODE SOMEONE ELSE'S PROJECTED QI ATTACK AND TURN IT BACK AT THEM! SUCK IT LOSERS!!!! 1/4 Energy added to the Qi attack launched at her as it blows back IN THEIR STUPID FACE!
Leyak's Farewell (+1 to All Stats) - This ring notes Tina as a friend to all Qi Sprites, and she gains incredible favor with any she encounters who are either Chaotic neutral or better. This ring fuses permanently with the first person to touch it once outside it's crystal housing. *upgradeable*
Ability: Once per thread, Tina may call in a shadow beast in the same form as Leyak, named 'Kayel'. This beast has empty eyes, and follows her commands. It's stats are equal to her energy, and lasts for 4 posts.
