"And this, Rose, was where I found you. Do you remember?"

Elias says, pointing at the ruined street. It was a gray, filthy day in Territory 256, as most days tended to be, and Elias was currently walking Rose through the streets. The people tended to avoid them, as was usually the norm when Elias was in public, as scavengers knew better than to get on his bad side.

"And this was where we decided to live."

He points at a ruined house, the roof having caved in long ago.

It was an interesting walk down memory lane, thus far, but that wasn't why they were here.

Rose would nod enthusiastically at the first question, her eyes searching excitedly through their territory. It may not be beautiful like 259, but there was a certain comfort at returning home.

Her gaze stops on their "house", reliving so many of her favourite memories in her head.

"It hasn't changed much." she notes.

You never know just when a building will collapse, around here.

"W-we haven't been gone that long though...so I guess it shouldn't really look different..."

"It hasn't changed. Yet."

He says, nodding.

"But it will. I've been... investing, here. Making people work."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"What are we making?"

She assumes they're making something, anyway.

[Thorn Wyatt]

"We're going to fix some of this place, and give people weapons."

He glances at Rose.

"So we can take other places over, and I'll own them too."

[Stigma Wyatt]

She clasps her hands together and smiles.

"That's so exciting!"

Aww, everyone might have a roof!

"How many places do you want?"

[Thorn Wyatt]

He tilts his head.

"How many? All of them."

As if it's even a question.

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Wow! That sounds like it'll take a long time!"

She's got plenty, herself. But still.

"But I know you can do it!!"

[Thorn Wyatt]

Elias nods at her second remark, since really, he kind of expects that. It's exactly what he should be hearing from other people.

"But that's why we're here. We're going to speed it along, maybe."

Maybe.

"We're going to explore, and see what else is in this territory. I've never gone too deep into this place."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"We have a lot of rocks!" Rose says helpfully.

Some of those could be good, right?

[Thorn Wyatt]

Elias sighs. With everything else that has happened since he joined Cabal's academy, he'd forgotten how... simple, his people were.

"....any shiny ones, you've seen?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Yes! When I was little I used to go look at the big glittery ones deep in the forest!"

[Thorn Wyatt]

"Oh?"

Well, that was something Elias had no idea about!

"Show me where they are."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Heheh, okay! This way!"

She happily takes his hand to guide him, heading out of the "city" and into the forest.

At first everything looks the same, but eventually it almost seems like they get onto a path created from someone stepping on and crushing the plants from repeated visits.

"I always used this way to get to my favourite flowers, but, one day I found the big rocks." she recounts, leading him up to them!

Elias doesn't complain about the hand holding.

He does look around, however, a little surprised to see such a path.

"You have favorite flowers?"

Are.... are they roses....?

He's suddenly very aware of how little he knows about Rose.
