Oh Rai. You just fed her. She was going to follow you around whether or not you asked.
Marin gives a smile and nod in response, turning around to grab her plush rabbit after extinguishing the fire from her hand. Then she grabs onto his sleeve to follow him.

"Alright, we're off to see a friend of mine."
Rai would proceed to lead the little girl to Cabal Academy, and after asking around a bit, would take her to Krane Asiv.

Marin seems pretty happy to latch onto him and follow him wherever. He was taking her to spots in the Academy she hadn't actually seen yet so it was nice to get familiar.

Krane was doing new duties since the Dragons were no longer supervising the Academy. This left Krane as the highest ranking with a few Special Instructors as assistants in this military Academy. He was using his PT with a holographic display showing all his files that needed signing, doing signatures over and over was boring him to death, but it was his new duty. He didn't have an office yet, so he was more or less just relaxing in a common area while he did this.

"Man, and people say you don't have a sense of humor. Actually this here is Marin, and she was sent here to join your academy here. But I found her out and about and with no idea where to go. So I thought bringing her here would be the best option."
Rai would turn to look at Marin.
"This is Krane, he is in charge here and will be the one you go to if you need any help while here at Cabal."

She looks from Krane to Rai, then back to Krane.
Rai's said his name two different ways. This is confusing.
"Kraneken." she...tries. Though she doesn't seem to have a clue what's actually going on right now.

Krane would look at Rai his face still stoic.
"She was sent here? She is a child. Explain."

Rai scratched the back of his head.
"Well, from what I understand Marin is an orphan, she grew up with someone she refers to as "Master" and they lived in "a cold place" and someone brought her here because she has Qi abilities, and her "Master" is still at 'the cold place'. Is that all correct Marin?"
He would turn to look at the little one to see if she had any more to offer.

Marin would nod! A look of realization would suddenly come over her face, and she would pull out a folded note from her shirt. At first she goes to offer it to Rai, but remembers that Krakakanikin was the one she needed to get help from. So she goes over and places the note on his desk. "Help."
---"This is Marin.
Long ago she was taken from her mother and sold into slavery at 156. It took six years to finally find her, but returning her to her parents is not advised. Please take care of her."-----

Krane would take the note and read it carefully. Looking to Marin shortly after and putting the note in the pocket of his jacket.
"It says I'm her father."
No emotion, no change in facial structure, just him staring at Marin.

Rai just stared at Krane, dead eyed. That was quite obviously not what the note said. But... Krane never did anything without a reason. Turning to Marin.
"Well, looks like we found your daddy little Marin."
