"I'm sure you will. Don't worry about that. Only people like myself get to suffer the ill fates. Monsters like me."
He started to pace, back and forth in the room. Without the gun in hand. He wasn't going too fast. He was taking his dear sweet time. It wasn't bad enough to make her anxious. Not yet anyway. He was having a tough time with Klaus. His friend of days gone by. He passed away, blown apart by a land mine.
Kill her...
No, that wouldn't help me at all....
Kill her, she knows where you live.....
I don't think she'd be one that would let that information slip...
Why is that..
It would imply an awful lot...

"I'm sure you will. Don't worry about that. Only people like myself get to suffer the ill fates. Monsters like me." She blinked her eyes, browse furrowing in place as she began to watch Valekin move about.
She swallowed.
He looked...nervous.
Possibly upset?
Was this her doing?
She bit her lip, and shifted in her seat.
She stood, softly letting her feet thud against the floor as she made her way towards him.
"Valekin?"
She reached out.
Letting her fingers gently curl against his shoulder, as if to slow him to a stop.

"Thanks for bringing me back to Earth."
He said when she touched him. His head snapped around to face her, and his ellipsed iris' cut through her like a hot knife. So much swirled through the ether of his mind at that moment. If you could reach in and grab something, you'd probably end up cutting your hand up with bad memories, and the broken glass of a wounded life.
"I presume that you need a ride to your, home. Since you'll be skipping school today. And that you won't be telling anyone, not even the government. Where I live. It is in your best interest. I think you know that."
That wasn't a threat. Valekin was Black Ops. if he did not want to be caught, he would not be caught. Police could not arrest him, the FBI can not track him, the CIA can not find him. He disappears faster than a plate of cookies in a kindergarten.
"Unless you wanted to hang out somewhere."

"Thanks for bringing me back to Earth.""Oh, it was..no problem?"
She gave a short smile before looking down, as if she was ashamed. She wasn't ashamed, but as Valekin now spoke...she felt as if she was being scolded.
"I presume that you need a ride to your, home. Since you'll be skipping school today. And that you won't be telling anyone, not even the government. Where I live. It is in your best interest. I think you know that."
"I won't tell....I'm not as dumb as I look ya know!"
She turned away from him, slightly hurt. But why?
Her feet shifted her wight from one to the other. And as she brought her hands to her side, she almost felt like leaving.
Running.
"Unless you wanted to hang out somewhere."
Why did she feel so ashamed?
She bit her lip, searching.
Calamity would never tell on Valekin. She had no reason to. No desire.
But she was hurt, slightly annoyed that Valekin could even consider her a traitor.
She turned quickly to look at him, eyes narrowing on him sharply.
"And what if I do tell! There's nothing you can do to me!!!"

"Revenge has lead me all around the world Calamity. I've killed a lot of people. In many countries tougher than this one. If you tell them, I won't be caught. I could kidnap you, and kill you inside the pentagon, and still get away with it. I've been betrayed before by a kid that thought I was lying. There isn't much left of him now."
He sighed, and walked to the bed in the room. He squatted next to it, and pulled a small briefcase out from under it. He flipped it open, and then showed her it's contents.
"Like it was back at the river. You have a choice when we part. I can be your friend after today, and a very valuable one. Or, I can be a plague on you."
The screen showed a loop of her walking into the building, zooming in on her face. Then her eyes, scanning her retina. When she touched one of the door knobs, a fingerprint scan got fed in. He could have DNA if he wanted. All the text was in Serbian. Though it would look very Russian to her.
He tapped a button on the console, and an image of Johnathan Winters showed. More data, volumes of data. He tapped the button again, another face. More data.

She fallowed him, watching him carefully.
Wondering what he was going to do.
She watched as he pulled out a briefcase, now...he was showing it to her.
"Like it was back at the river. You have a choice when we part. I can be your friend after today, and a very valuable one. Or, I can be a plague on you." Her eyes were fixed on the screen, watching it closely.
she bit her lower lip.
If she hadn't felt threatened before, she certainly did now.
Tilting her head to the side as she watched the little loop.
How could she be so careless.
She sighed.
"So you have my fingerprints...big de-"
She hesitated.
Eyes growing wide as Winters was now flashed upon the screen.
What?!?!
He knew Winters? Did he know that Calamity had feelings for him? Most certainly, he had to! Otherwise, why would he be showing her Johnathan.
Is this Blackmail?
"You son of a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
She shouted now, reaching out to grab the briefcase. In hopes of smashing the screen to pieces.

"Ah ah ah. It won't do you any good to break it Calamity. All my data is backed up. Just because I've had all your personal information since you got here, save what's in your head, doesn't mean I'll use it against you. Lest, you betray my trust."
He was much faster than she was. By the time she could have gotten to it to try to take it from him, he closed it and slid it back under the bed. Now he was sitting on the soft mattress, wondering what her reaction would be.
"I'll let what you said about my mother slide... this time."
Calling him a son of a bitch had gone a hair too far. That pissed him off, and now he looked pissed, rather than stoic. Not to mention she had seen him practically tear a cops face off not too long ago. Fear was an emotion that he inspired in people. And the power caused much respect.

" Lest, you betray my trust."She stared at him, those thin brows still narrowed upon him. She was shaking with anger, obviously highly irritated.
How could I let this happen?
Teeth were still gritted, clamped together as she squared off. Side stepping back and flicking a few strands of hair from her face.
"I'll let what you said about my mother slide... this time."
She closed her eyes, blinking those blue eyes.
How could she have trusted this man? And so early on?
She only just knew him!!!
But Calamity always did that.
Falling for Winters so early on. Telling him she loved him.
And look what it got her. No where.
Winters hadn't obviously felt the same about her.
Her head fell, strands of hair falling in her face as tears threatened to spill.
"...I'll kill you."

"If your going to kill me, can you wait until I can finish my revenge?"
He got off the bed, and took a stride towards her. Closing the space, pressing intimidation.
Clink, clink.
"She wronged me. She killed them, my sisters, and my mother. I'm so close, I know she's here. But she's being very careful not to slip. I will find her, and when I do. I will repay her for what she did to my family seven fold."
His head cocked sideways, and his neck cracked loudly. The Serb looked at her through his obsidian lockes, with eyes like a snake. He lived for revenge, it drove him to what he was now. All of what he was, was created by revenge. All of it.
"It's your choice though. It's always been your choice."
Now he did something drastic, he walked to the table, and picked the gun up off it. Holding it by it's barrel. Holding the handle out to her. The gleaming gun metal beackoned to her.
"She tortured, and killed my mother. Then raped, and destroyed my sisters. If you are going to try to stop me from accomplishing what I must do. Then I'll have to execute you like I do her henchmen."
He flipped the gun around. Now the dangerous end was pointing at her. His finger was on the trigger guard, the safety was off. Then, his thumb pulled back the hammer.
Click.
"Your choice."

OOC: A little music to help set the mood? "If your going to kill me, can you wait until I can finish my revenge?"
"Revenge?"
It fell from her lips, dripped from those delicious lips of her's.
Revenge...
So Valekin too lived for Revenge. Had he let it rule his life? Dwell into the inner core of his heart?
Calamity knew revenge. And a little all too well.
Revenge had driven deep into her heart, and the hatred along with it.
Are you aware of a little thing called murder?
OOh yes Valekin.
You are.
Her lips had cricled up into some sort of malicious grin. One Valekin had to of seen before, on the faces of many men, and or women.
Valekin closed in on her, like a wolf circling his pray. Would Calamity allow it? For now, he was playing a game.
"She wronged me. "
"We all have been wronged Vale-"
"She killed them, my sisters, and my mother."
She swallowed, her flesh tingling, blood boiling. Her body almost shook again.
His family?
Calamity knew, what it was like to lose a family member. And now, she was trying to push it back again. Battling her inner demons.
"Then I'll have to execute you like I do her henchmen."
HER? Her?
Who is she?
"Your choice."
When she heard the click of the gun, it was almost like her brain shut off. Like her whole entire body had lost feeling.
Pulling her back into her thoughts, almost trying to lock her away.
She could almost feel the rain pouring on her skin, almost feel the cold of that winters day.
"Daddy...?"
DADDY?!?!
The blood?
Drip. Drip. Drip.
She let her head roll back on her shoulders. Her head falling, strands of hair falling down the small of her back as she opened her mouth. Taking a deep breath of air, almost gasping for it.
Its so hot... So stuffy.
Her head softly rolling in place yet again, raising her hands up. She'd eye them now, half expecting to see blood. She'd raise them, eying them more closely, circling them from side to side.

"Well?"
He asked, waiting for her answer. Despite the fact that a loaded gun was pointed at her, and the chances of him actually missing her were ridiculously low at this range, she still had a choice to make. Die, or continue to not get in his way. One never should mess with the mentally unstable, it will get you into positions that are less than comfortable, more than awkward, and likely dangerous.
Pull it..
I want an answer first...
Pull it...
Wait...
PULL IT!!!

"Well?"
Calamity was still inspecting her hands, eying them closely before slowly letting them raise to her neck. She'd gently pull at the fabric of her shirt.
It felt so tight.
So hot.
So restricting.
She tugged at it, opening her mouth and gasping for air.
"I...I can't breath..."
She'd panic, those fingers by her neck itched at her skin. Pulling at her neckline as she'd gap for air.
A panick attack? No, something else.
"I can't breath!!!!"
She was gasping for air.
Fingers tugged on her neckline, tearing it as she screamed.
"I ...i can't....CAN'T FUCKING BREATH!"

He rolled his eyes and flipped the safety on before tossing it across the room. He gained a few feet before taking her legs out underneath her with his right leg, and catching her with his left arm, letting her slowly to the floor. If she cooperated, he'd let her there, and draw his knife. Slowly, as to not alarm her. But not so slow as to intimidate. He had a degree in field medicine. It looked like a panic attack, but it could have also been an asthma attack, or mental trauma.
In the last case, he couldn't do anything. Not even emergency surgery.
"Slow your breathing, and think about the cool wind blowing snow off of the very peak of a mountain."
He said, looking her over. He hadn't shot her, so that wasn't the issue.
"Is the clothing inhibiting your breathing? Or is it your lungs?"

She could hardly breath, let alone keep her eyes on Valekin's movements. She heard the gun being tossed. Heard it skid across the floor. It all happened so fast.
The gun. Falling. And suddenly being within Valekin's arms. He was lowering her to the ground.
She shivered slightly, her mouth opening wide as she'd gasp.
She felt like an idiot, and she was highly embarrassed.
But no time to think about that now.
Her right hand itched at her neck, everything felt so restricting.
"Slow your breathing, and think about the cool wind blowing snow off of the very peak of a mountain."
He was joking right? She couldn't think of something like that at a time like this?
Her eyes focussed on Valekin.
Valekin...I?
Her eyes searched his, her mouth taking a slow breath. Inhaling. Exhaling.
"Is the clothing inhibiting your breathing? Or is it your lungs?"
Neither.
its You.
She leaned into him, trying to steady her breathing.
"It's...it just feels... a little stuffy..."

"Then stay right there for a minute until you feel better."
He said, moving away from her to get a pillow off his bed. He returned, lifted her head, and put the pillow under it. Then he retrieved the gun, and sat on his bed. Playing with the weapon in his hands. If it was just that it was stuffy in here, there was nothing he could do about it. He made sure that the air-conditioning worked in his room at least.
"Feeling any better?"
