Krane stares and puts his hands on his hips.
"It's okay. Both of you at least were enjoying yourselves."
He looks to Lann and his eye brows curl in... He wasn't sure how long he had been there.
"Tina, please remove the ice from this guy. Actually let's make a game of it. I'll create snow balls. Ten for each of you. Tina, set yours with smaller than usual explosive charges, Marin see if you can set them on fire in such a way that it spreads on contact. Whoever removes the most ice from him with ten snowballs, wins."

Marin wandered over to the huge ice Lann, sticking her palms and face on it like a kid licking a window. Except at least this is like...water. That no one's touched yet.
Lann is blessed with this beautiful sight briefly, until she pulls away because she's been promised a game.
"Yay! A game!"
Ahhh. She has no idea how frustrating this game is going to be for her.
"Ready! Ready!"

He might be right, but there's only one way to find out!
"'Kay." Top hopped on one foot, then the other as the ice melted away from the area immediately around her. Poor Lann, however, was still iced over from it all. His screaming made her grin and cackle a little.
"Stop worrying before you piss yourself, you wuss. They're going to be small explosions." Duh.
She is totally down for this game.

Krane would create the twenty snowballs.
"Do not worry sir. The security system around Cabal prevents fatal damage from being applied. You will not die."
He would then put a pile of snowballs for each kid.

Marin picks up her snowball with a creepy little giggle, then tries to set it on fire.
It does not. It just rapidly melts in her hand.

Tina nods adamantly at Lann when Krane mentions the security system, which has thankfully prevented her from blowing off bits of allies in a fight. Which was sometimes a bummer, but hey, he could at least worry less now, right? She grihned and giggled a little at the sense of Lann struggling against his fate as the snow and ice began to heat up.
Now she really made his autograph. First an utter bloodbath, and now showing he actually had a fun side? Krane might just be her hero. The snowball piratically lit up and sparked as she charged it, then hurled it at ice-man Lann.
Bam.
She let the snow collide with the ice as she looked at the dismayed Marin, who now had a puddle of water. HA. She was winning.

Krane would lean down and hold out another snowball.
"Instead of trying to burn the snowball, try and keep the fire above the surface. Burn the oxygen, the mist oozing off it."
Lann has some ice blown off him! Lann however is not hurt.

Marin looks PISSED that Tina's ahead already.
She takes the new snowball, glaring it down like she REALLY wants to do what he suggests. Finding a heat signature that wasn't an obvious one wasn't easy, especially for someone with very little education in general.
When she realizes she can't just start a fire around the ball like she wants to, she gets frustrated again, suddenly covering herself in flames and then belly-flopping on the rest of Tina's snowballs so they'll all melt before she can use them.
IF SHE CAN'T MAKE THIS WORK IMMEDIATELY, THEN TINA CAN'T HAVE AN OVERWHELMING WIN.
"RAAAAGHGHH!!"

Tina looked smug at her victory, brushing her nose with her thumb as the ice exploded as she wanted...
And then Marin threw a tantrum. She was a cute kid, but the blonde frowned in displeasure as her ammo suddenly went from balls of snow to splattered frozen muck. Her eyes narrowed as the snowball she had been reaching for was smashed, instead turning the explosion on the traitor who was now worthless to her.
Boom.
Totally missing Lann.

Krane watched Marin lose her temper and was going to calmly talk it out... However like Phoenix she seemed to be more hot headed than a talker. Noticing her... Sideways victory and Tina's face change to annoyed he would breath out placing his closed hand vertically on his open palm. Covering 20 ft around him in ice closing his open palm on his fist the ice would shatter and encase Tina and Marin. And in case they had any funny ideas their heads were left exposed and a tentacle holding a sword would be pointed at each of them.
"Calm yourselves, please. It's just a game."
Krane would release Lann from his ice prison.
"Marin, strategically melting your opponents ammo was a good idea, but throwing a temper tantrum because you do not yet have a capability to do what I asked is not the right way. Talk to me and I will help. Grandpa will help. All the God's will help."
He'd look to Tina with a small glare.
"Also, play nice. She didn't attack you, but strategically attacking your opponent is a good move. However not honorable in the name of contest."

Good question, Lann. Marin would give a proud smirk, and it would literally freeze on her face, especially with a sword being pointed at her. She might be a bratty kid, but she was VERY aware that pointy things were not to be trifled with. The praise was nice, but she'd give a wry frown at the rest. She SUPPOSES she may have lost her temper a bit...What with the primal scream added in there... "Okay. I need help...and...sorry Tina..." she mumbles.
"OH!!"
Like she suddenly remembered something, she'd wiggle in place, too worried about the pointy thing to really start hopping. "Dad, dad! The David man said he'll train me if I go live at his house! Is that okay?" I mean what self-respecting parent wouldn't totally be down with that? Especially with the current Dragon situation. |

Tina gave Krane the most bored expression possible when he mentioned honorable. That's the kind of stupidity that got you killed. Besides, well, stupidity. She did NOT approve being coated in ice and scowled, grunting at his words since there was currently a sword pointed at her face.
"Yeah, yeah." She rolled her eyes since she couldn't physically mock the words otherwise but playing nice also seemed the better idea for now. Besides, she still liked the spunky spitfire - Marin just needed to know there were rules. Like don't mess with HER stuff.
"Sorry." There.
