Rai would nod at Rhona's words. She was very astute that one. Then he would look to Elias.
"I tell you what. I'll think about what your task should be during this little escort service, and when we reach Zack's office, I'll have an answer for you."
Then he would turn to Faye.
"I don't intend to cause any problems, I still consider Zack a good friend, but as Rhona pointed out, he is just stressed beyond belief. Besides I still consider 259 my home for many reasons, I'd hate to find myself banned from here."
Looking between the three Rai would shrug.
"So, what is your preferred marching formation for this escort mission of yours?"

To be honest she could see where this was going. She stopped their little march and turned around placing hands on her hips. Her expression was bright and confident.
"Mr. Sudeki, if I could be so bold." which being bold was her M.O. "we have a bit of time to settle what this might be, it is official Dragon business after all. If you can think of something Elias could accomplish and gain your favor, I am certain he'll be pre-occupied until it is complete without interruption. And he might be done by the time we reach Asiv's office. Or at most, by the time your meeting is done."
She was sure Faye wouldn't object to viewing a Dragon trial in person. its a rare chance. She wasn't even going to mention how Elias was walking a fine line to being labeled a traitor, a guy like him doesn't care for such things though. His one track mind could be deviating her progress on this mission so she is trying to remedy that.

Elias' eyebrows lift, mostly out of surprise that Rhona would stick up for his interests like that.
How... nice.
"I'm interested, if it can be done now. Other than that, I'm going to watch you the whole way there, since that's my job right now."
He admits, nodding.

Rai, who was the only one that hadn't stopped when Rhona did, turned to face the other three. Kids these days...
"Fine."
He would then spin his ring around and cut open his right palm, holding it out bloodied palm up. From the palm black blood would ooze and spring to life forming different figures. First would be a pair of eyes with intricate designs, they were Seikatsugan eyes. Second would be a suit of armor sitting inside of a small boat. Third would look like black smoke but it would be moving and if one paid attention they might notice eyes randomly appearing inside of the 'smoke'. Finally, the last item would be a mirror.
"Pick one."
Was all Rai would say staring at Elias.

Elias drops his hands to his sides, stepping forward to carefully scrutinize each object Rai had created.
“...this is some sort of symbolism game, isn’t it?”
He frowns a bit. That makes it more difficult, since interpretation varied from person to person.
The eyes, he decides, aren’t worth it. He needs to earn them by taking them from someone else.
The suit of armor in the boat seemed to be a trap, since whoever took it would sink into the water around the boat.
That just left the last two.
Elias lifts his hand, and points at the smoke with eyes.
“That one.”

Rai tilted his head. Intriguing, apparently there was more to Elias than a foul attitude. For the first time Rai was interested to see what Elias could become. The three pictures that he didn't choose would wiggle out of existence and recede back into Rai's hand, leaving only the smoke and eyes.
"The test you have chosen is this. I want you to find out who killed me two years ago. When I return from my training I will wait for you in my Mansion in Territory 235. Come to me when you have found out who was behind it, and the two of us will confront them. If you survive that. You will have my full backing as a Dragon."
With that Rai would let the last picture fade into his hand, the cut sealing shut almost immediately.
"Though, I am curious. What made you choose that item and not one of the others?"

"I would have picked the armor." she grinned. "I want to be a god though, golden grieves and all that." she folded her arms and waited to hear how Elias would have come to his conclusion.

There's a twitching underneath Elias' eye after Rai explains his new quest. Gathering information had never been his strong suit, and this... this seemed like a long.... long endeavor.
It's probably better not to say anything at all about it, and just move on.
"If it was a game of symbolism, then for the most part, it seemed simple. The Seikatsugan eyes were power that had not been earned yet, as I need to take them from someone, not just be given them.
The armor in a boat is power with consequence, since wearing armor means you'll be unable to swim.
The mirror is something to do with power within, since it's a reflection of yourself.
I picked the one I didn't know."

Faye doesn't add in what she would have chosen.
"Moving away from the familiar to dive into the unknown. An interesting approach."
She means dangerous. But it turned out ok for him, if not a bit tricky. She hopes he has a starting point, otherwise he's just going to be asking a whole lotta people and hoping someone knows something.

Rai nodded at Elias' recap of his thoughts.
"Not bad, you put more thought into it than I did when Mathew first gave me this trial."
His attention would then be grabbed by Rhona's comment.
"You don't say... interesting. Well, if you were the one being assigned this trial you would have chosen the best option for you. The armor in the boat was a quest in the God's territory."
Then he would turn to Faye.
"Right you are. Though, I am curious now. Which would you have chosen?"

Her smile grew genuine and she straightened her back placing hands on her hips feet as always shoulder length apart.
"Oi, maybe fate is on my side once more." Rai had no idea how badly she wanted to hear something like that. However if she was being offered the chance to retrieve the armor she would pass. For a dragon's path and a god's path are grand distances apart. She wasn't in this for power, it was glory and justice.

Elias frowns a bit.
"I guess that makes sense. I'll be heading to God territory soon enough anyway."
He glances at Rhona while he speaks, before looking at Faye. He's also interested in hearing her answer.
