"To go through all of that with one goal in mind, and then not even achieve it."

Elias shrugs.

"I find that weird. You let the journey change you."

Faye just walks along quietly.

Rai would turn back around and smile. That, young Dragonling, is the point. He thought to himself.

"Indeed."

He would continue to walk along in silence before deciding to pose a question to their little group.

"So, I'm curious. What are your opinions on the Dragons, and why?"

He would ask the three of them. The best way to find out why people hated you was to ask the younger generation. They have no filters.

"As a whole they are well respected and revered by me. Their strength and symbolism is legendary and vast like such in the Epics of old of whic I enjoy. Individually and in person... Well... They are kind of..." she raised her hands juggling between a couple of choice words she'd use either sounding too harsh or not harsh enough. But none of the words she could think of would do justice.

She dropped one arm to her hip and the other burried itself in her mass of golden hair fingers threading through it effortlessly. "I cant count on one hand the number of times I've dealt with them. But last time I did I was healing from a near death room when Ares-er... Mathew roped my by the hair and tested me. Yielding little results I am sure I wasn't up to expectations. And he sent be back to bed with.. Yet another brain damaging blow." she huffed. "Was a dick move if you ask me, but he came to me with his responsibility as a God, not a Dragon I don't know of that makes a difference. Even so, for other reasons, I dont think highly of Dragon's currently."

"Needless to say I dont agree with some of them. It would be like choosing who is the lesser evil and not being given a good option."

"I don't really care about the Dragons as a whole, one way or the other. I asked how to kill one, and Leon told me to become one."

Elias shrugs, continuing to walk with them.

It sounded as if Rhona was also the victim of Mathew, to a degree.

Who wasn't in this crew? Raise your hand if you've ever felt victimized by Mathew...

"Dragons sound like assholes. Especially Mathew. He threw me like a weapon."

Not to say she judges a whole 'gang' based on one individual, but, despite Rai being a pretty nice dude he was an asshole too if he thought getting whipped was a positive learning experience.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would laugh. Shaking his head.

"Mathew does have a way with people doesn't he."

He chuckled again.

"Not gonna lie, I still fear Mathews wrath. But once I gain my strength back I can't wait to challenge him again. Leon is a prick too, and David... well. Blaze always seem to have his own agendas and I personally don't care for them. Kyir is also incredibly secretive, always has been even when we were kids training together. I'll be honest, I can't blame you for your thoughts on us. They are well earned."

He continued walking a bit before speaking again.

"Its funny Dragons as a whole represent something that can't be seen by individual interactions. Hell, even I give off a different understanding of what Dragons are. Though I tell you, I can't wait for the day when we all come together again. To remind everyone, not WHO we are, but WHAT we are."

Rai would look up to the sky. Feeling the wind blow through his hair.

"Sadly, I feel the time where we will need to do so is coming sooner than I would like."

He would say solemnly. For now Rai would walk in silence unless one of the others asked more questions. In the back of his head, Nailed it!

You can enjoy a band, love their songs, and faun over the cutest one. But should you ever meet them and they turn out to be... Not what you thought. Well, it can effect how you like the music or you get over it and listen anyway. Rhona hadn't given up, she thought what she thought but at th end of the day Raikotsu was right. In ap way they were necessary, needed, and called upon.

But yes, Blaze has always been flaky and Leon is... Like a kid with a broken toy and no remorse for it, it felt like he was trashing those people without giving them the chance to have a life. She couldn't understand, perhaps she is set in her mind and never will.

She wondered if there could be a better breed of dragon? She might reconsider her current stance after she's completed her own goals. That is if she is already a likely candidate then why not..?

"Why would the Dragons need to come together?"

Elias frowns at that.

What was the point? He thought they were supposed to barely even interact with each other.

[Kaia Galanos]

"Hm. Apprentices don't get told much, do they?"

She's not implying she knows the answer, of course. Just an observation. That or ELIAS just doesn't get told much.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai shrugged in response to Faye.

"Dragon Appentices are typically well informed. Usually by their Masters, or through personal investigations. However, Elias here is... doing a unique... style of training so it makes sense he wouldn't know some things."

Then to Elias.

"In this case, if I fail to convince Zack not to ban the Dragons, then my only guess will be that they will start organizing. Seeking each other out and grouping together. To discuss the change in affairs and what it means for us as a whole, and... what we might have to do about it..."

He shook his head.

"I hope we don't end up gathering for that reason. If we are declared the enemy... well, Dragons only know one way to deal with enemies."

[Rhona Hall]

"Hence the reason you are here now then?" Rhona would bring the conversation right around once more. "With David gone after breaking a long time agreement with T1, Mathew is MIA, and as far as I know so is Leon. Cabal is the most vulnerable its been in many years right now. And after three or so battles... We are under staffed. The others... Including Zeknuft; just might be able to topple the leaning tower that is what Cabal has become."

She looked back at Raikotsu. "You don't have to explain your motives or plans should that happen. Asiv will do just that and you can tell him. I do hope we don't have to become enemies. Truly." she smiled softly

Elias frowns more at the realization that he was being treated differently to other apprentices so far.

Though to be fair, his master was in another dimension.

"I doubt they'll end up fighting Cabal. There's nothing to gain from it."

[Kaia Galanos]

Despite wanting to ask what was so unique about Elias' training, she holds off as the conversation continues.

"Unless they're defending themselves."

Rai smiled and nodded his head to Rhona.

"Thank you, and I agree completely."

Then he would point his finger as Faye spoke.

"Correct. We wouldn't fight Cabal for gain, if Cabal labeled us an enemy, then for our own safety we would have to destroy Cabal while it was still in a weakened state. To let your enemy prosper is foolish. To believe your enemy will always be weaker is arrogant and will always lead to ones downfall, no matter who, or what, they are. Dragons, Gods, Crows, it doesn't matter. Arrogance will always lead to self demise."
