Val laughs. It seemed Preston was doing well with her, so he’d let him ask questions for the moment.

"Well, one thing I can promise you is you will get older. Time waits for no girl."

He'd say as he gave her a pat on the head.

"Your Dad would be a good start. Who is your Dad? Do you know where he is?"

[Marin]

Shiiiit. She's gonna have to attempt that name again.

"The Krankran."

That one might actually be a decent hint.

"He lives with a desk."

[Valerian Blackburn]

"I live with a bed."

Valerian points out teasingly, smiling at her.

[Preston Salabim]

"He does?" He'd look to Valerian. "You do?"

What an odd phrase...

[Marin]

"Oh. Maybe I'll go see."

Not at all getting he was teasing.

"But uhuh!! He's in his house a lot!"

Offices are obviously homes.

[Valerian Blackburn]

"No, that's ok."

Because that's awkward, having a child come to see your bed.

Valerian looks at Preston.

"His house has a desk."

This is all the information they need.

[Preston Salabim]

"Ah okay."

Odd way of putting it, but they were on the same page.

"Well, why don't we walk you to your Dad's house?"

He might be worried about her.

[Marin]

"Noooope."

She's not letting adults ditch her on her dad every time.

[Valerian Blackburn]

"Why....not?"

He frowns a little.

[Preston Salabim]

"What if he is worried about you?"

[Marin]

"He not worried." she shakes her head.

"I gave him note so he knows!"

She gives a small stomp of her foot.

[Valerian Blackburn]

"You know how to write?"

Valerian's impressed!

[Preston Salabim]

"But how do you know he got the note? Did you hand it to him?"

[Marin]

"Yeah!" she says, raising a hand triumphantly at Val's question.

Then she spins to look at Preston and does it again.

"YEAH! Rai take me to him! Then I give the note! And he say, I'm her dad!"
