Nova comes in a few flavours, as it is with a lot of people. Her casual self is sweet and rather “chill”, and she loves to spend time with a lot of different people. She’s an extrovert through and through, though her energy levels tend to remain pretty mild from all her physical activities.

The Nova you see when you’re a target or enemy is much more ruthless. She delights in the rush of chasing, out-witting and capturing others. A true huntress. She’s also a sore-loser and its hard to shake her off your tail once she sets her sights on defeating you. It doesn’t matter how many times she has to try, one way or another she has to win.

History Information

History:

Only daughter of Nicky-Lee and Nero Vivienne, two Reclaimers for Prota. Naturally, Nova quickly learned what she was and wasn’t supposed to do as a citizen of Prota, and to respect and honour the laws in place.

Despite being proud of her origins and questioning absolutely nothing about how things were run, Nova underwent the same brainwashing everyone does. To her, in was a non-issue. She saw it as a sort of…baptism. Something to keep her on the correct path, but out of sight and out of mind once it was done.

While she was born with a Qi, she underwent optimization regardless. There was always something you could improve, and Nova was more than happy to be on course towards maximizing her potential. Her optimization gave her a battle form of Diamond Skin that she could manipulate in several way, and that also gave her a level of invulnerability

Once she was old enough, she was sent to Prota’s Academy to hone her skills. She had a lot of work to do before she could follow in her parent’s footsteps. It was around this time her parents chose a suitable partner for her so that such trivial things would not distract her. They found someone from a prominent family with a desirable background and settled her engagement. A wedding would not be for some time, however, as both she and her fiancé had a lot of work to do before they could afford any leisure time.

Nova thus embarks on her journey to becoming a Reclaimer like her parents.

This Proto Helm looks like your average necklace or choker, but activates for combat situations to protect her head and face. Nova becomes immune to poison or disease effects, and also gains a Heads Up Display with information like range, temperature, visual zoom, and weather or not a target is stronger or weaker than the wearer. It does not say by how much (Total stats decide). The Proto Helm can automatically inject stimulant gas into the wearer to have various effects. It can enhance a chosen stat by the wearers Energy stat, or it can allow the wearer to open a portal between two points they can see, or slash a blade shaped beam of energy at a target that does her energy stat +20 in damage. Can only use each ability once per thread.

Four times a thread this belt can retrieve any of Nova's thrown consumables. If a thrown consumable is retrieved this way those Consumables are boosted with the users energy stat +8 in damage.

-Blackwater Service Ribbon [ADD-ON]: +5 Def, +5 Spd
This ribbon has the colors of house Blackburn of red and black on one side and Cabals colors of white and blue on the other, to show unity.

Hands: Dagger of Blackwater: +7 Per, +7 Spd
This dagger is both a handheld slashing and stabbing weapon, and a throwing weapon. It can be recalled to the hand that threw it at will up to five times a thread, each time adding a "Burn" counter to it. For every "Burn" counter the dagger has it adds +5 to Nova's energy stat.

Clan Markings [ADD-ON]: +5 atk
Clan Markings are symbols and colors representing the people you come from, or loyalty you owe. When combined with the Mando Armor the Clan Markings effect triples.

These leg guards have several pockets that appear to always have some sort of bladed weapon inside. Four times per thread, Nova can pull out a weapon from her pockets that grants +8 to her attack when used. These blades can be stored across multiple threads.

Wood from a Flying Sleigh [Material]: So one night you may or may not have seen a jolly man in a sleigh pulled by reindeer. And supposedly it was flying through the air, so of COURSE you shot at it with Qi attacks/Magic/Weapons. The only proof is this wood that happens to levitate about a foot above whatever object it's above. This material holds elemental power over ice, wind, and can even allow a person to levitate.

Protaween Snacks! - These odd candy treats get shoveled into your mouth by the handfuls returning half the persons Qi uses and heals half the damage they have taken. (x3)

Power

Qi Name: Demon Threads

Strengths:
Nova can imbue any threads or strings with her Qi to both strengthen them as well as manipulate them freely. She can do multiple threads at once, though there is a limit on how many. In most cases she can do a string per finger, or multiple threads if they are bound in some way (like a single piece of cloth, or a scarf). This gives her many options in terms of swinging around weapons as well as entrapping her foes.

Weaknesses:

Nova’s concentration is often divided between her fight and where her strings are. If she has too many, at times she can lose focus.

While the strings are empowered, making them tougher than regular threads, they can still be cut by someone more powerful. The strings often leave gaps that can be exploited as well.

Zero Ability:

Empowered Threads- When using wires or cloth, Nova gains +18 to attack.

Spider's Web- Nova uses her threads to create an empowered net that can absorb up to her energy in damage.

Bone Armor: Bones exit her body and cover her like a set of Armor, she feels a boost of speed and power from these bones giving her +18 Speed and +18 Defense. When Nova focuses she can make the bone armor eject shards of bone into the ground around her and the very next person she Mark's with Qi will be attacked by the bone shards dealing Nova's attack + 20 in damage.

Battle Form

Qi Name: Ice Mimicry

Ability 1: Nova's body turns into Ice, granting her +12 as additional defense.

Ability 2: Nova's Ice skin now grows spikes! These spikes deal her energy in damage to anyone that touches them and they are also able to reflect any Qi based attack back at the user for up to her energy stat in damage.

Other Abilities

-Nova can now has RP relevant Enhanced hearing. By stating in a post that she is using her enhanced ears she can hear far more than anyone else. She has also gain low-light vision, not quite night vision but as long as there is a little bit of light around she can see clearly inside shadows.

-Animal instinct: Daniel and Nova may swap places in a thread at the cost of 1 Qi Use. Who says cats and dogs can't be friends?

Prota Orientation, again, for the first time (Nova/Daniel) +3 Exp, Energy Shield: Once activated the device pulls in Qi from the user and projects a defensive dome around the person. The dome has an HP equal to the user's Eng stat. The user can spend more Qi points into it to make the shield stronger. (1 QP = Eng stat, stackable)

Jeff Daniels, The Peaceful Cook

Jeff can make any food or drink order instantly as if time its self no longer exists when he cooks. The food or drink he makes can cause stress or problems to vanish, refreshing lost stamina and giving someone such a feeling of peace all their negative effects and debuff's end.

Jeff can turn Nova's feet items aesthetically into cowboy boots that allow Nova to jump ridiculously high or far and increase their Speed by +30 for 4 posts.

Jeff isn't a fighter, but if push comes to shove he can summon his employers and Peace Cafe Owners, Leon, The Lightning Dragon and Ark, The Fire Dragon. Ark uses his great speed and strength to attack and to grab them and hold them in place, while Leon uses his Lightning Qi to fire at the held target doing Nova's energy +24 in damage. Ark then hits them away doing Nova's energy in damage plus her Atk in damage. The summoning lasts 4 posts and the combo is repeatedly attempted for those four posts. After four posts the summoned Sprites will fight each other and ignore everything else until they are both destroyed.
