The Fall that Started it All

Rose would scream as everything shook, wobbling side to side before falling down near Elias' feet.

She'd just stay down there until it stopped.

"That was scary!!"

Faye would peer out her window, calculating in her head just about where that big 'ol thing was going. She'd grimace from the impact, writing a note about more changes in the world occurring before suddenly stopping her pen strokes. For a moment she stared at the page.

She'd clench her jaw a bit then grab her lab-coat, swinging it on as she actually ran out her door.

She needed to hurry.

[Qi Yanmei]

"My GOODNESS." Yanmei would say with wide eyes staring at the sky.

She'd never seen a thing quite like that before. Even still, the people were happy and Katsu seemed to feel like this was good. Far be it from her to not celebrate!

[Marin]

Marin would stare up with her mouth wide open, really shocked to see whatever that was. It was hard for her to really make out.

She'd just point and scream.

"A MONSTER JUST FELL FROM THE SKY!!"

[Novocaine]

"What the?"

Nova watched with squinted eyes, placing a hand over her drink so it wouldn't spill all over the place.

Well. If it concerned them in any way, they'd be sent for at some point.

[Sessha]

Sessha watched from her perch on a hill, biting her lip in worry.

The realization that...that thing...fell on land...

She would wipe at her eyes and sniff, mourning those who were inevitably caught in the crash. People, animals, living creatures. What a terrible thing to have happened.

[Tina Bennet]

"What the shit is that?" Tina bounced up on her tiptoes as she pointed towards the streak of fire in the sky that burned so bright. Guy pointed dramatically on her shoulder as she did so, used to the bombshell's constant moving and energy. She'd never seen anything like it, not really knowingof what to make of anything falling to the ground.

"Oi! Ardan! WHAT IS THAT?" It didn't matter what time of day or night it was or if Ardan was asleep - or the rest of the caravan for that matter. She wanted to know.

[Kyla Himura]

A surge of pride raced through Kyla's veins as she looked to the sky as fire and revenge fell to the earth below. The cheers of her fellow warriors, what remained of her friends and village, and all those that now were a part of their lives filling in the air was a sound finer than any music.

A smile lit her face and eyes as she lifted her spear and tilted it towards where they had first seen the castle start to fall, the closest that she could get to saluting their King until he returned to them.

She only wished she could have been there. To avenge her son, their people. Twice they had been attacked by the Conqueror, and twice the king had taken justice and vengeance on his shoulders without them.

But for now, the world would know that theirs was a home not to be toyed with. And for that, she would gladly celebrate with the rest.

Link would shoot up and awake at the screaming out of Tina.

"Huh? What? Is everything ok? What's going on?"

He would ask jumping up and running to Tina's location.

[Allison Kazim]

The ringing of steel against steel was welcome, the final blow heavy enough that Ali could feel the force of it rattle her bones.

She loved it.

Wiping the sweat from her brow, she sheathed her sword and nodded to her sparring partner before turning her gaze to the sky. Raising her hand over her eyes, she stared at the meteor that seemed to hurl itself from the sky. Even if she wasn't a part of Aurora, she knew what it was. King Oleander wouldn't make an empty promise.

For a moment, she wondered if she should have accepted the offer from Emperor Strike, but the thought flickered and died out. It didn't matter. Her choice was made, as Blake had made his. What mattered now was moving forward, whatever the consequences.

Too bad Malice missed out.

[Krane Asiv]

Krane looked up to where Marin was pointing and gripped her hand a little tighter.

"That's not a monster falling out of the sky. That is a monster being awakened in our realm."

Krane would stare at it, watching unblinking at the entire event. His stare sharp as he prepared for the coming tide.

[John]

John watched the castle as well, being in Aurora and listening to the jubilation around him. He took a seat and drank some of the alcohol he had in his mug.

"Is it possible for the world to end twice? Nothing good has happened when things fall from the sky."

[Rein]

Rein had stopped working his metals to train a new group with basic sword maintenance to see the excitement of it all. He cheered along with them feeling the mood of the mob rush into him. He let out a battle cry drawing the executioners blade and raising it in salute, as did his students.

[Blake Oleander]

The castle was larger than he had imagined. He assumed it would be a structure, not a floating island in its own right. He watched as it came crashing from the heavens, the cheers of his people filling the air even as the island made contact with the ground. The sheer size of it meaning that tens of thousands of lives could have very well been lost from the impact alone. His heart twisted thinking about it, but there was no changing it. And it was not his people that would suffer this time.

They had done it, the world could see that this Conqueror could be bloodied, that his power was not absolute and that fighting back against him could be done. He had lost everything but his life in the battle for the Castle, but in the end, he had gained something for him and his people. Hope.

[Cynic]

Cynic ignored the whole thing. It was stupid and he was busy.
